We booked the surfing session. The AWD tour to the spot was a very pleasant bonus adventure. The surf instructur had a very smart approach helping the total beginners to get on the board an catching a wave. I am very thankful for him because my family (wife &2 kids) are now excited about surfing - a life changing experience.

Absolutely epic kayaking adventure! Ben was great, we had a nice drive along the beach, and he told us about the history of the area. My wife wasn't sure about ocean kayaking, however the kayaks are tandem (2 person) kayaks, that and the wetsuits eased her mind. We were lucky enough to see a number of dolphins fairly close to our kayak, along with a loggerhead turtle! Definitely recommend these guys and the tour. We had a great time!

We had an incredible experience with Epic Ocean Adventures Noosa! The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel safe and welcome from start to finish.

The highlight was seeing so many dolphins up close in their natural environment—it was absolutely unforgettable and made the tour even more special. The kayaking was great fun, the scenery was stunning, and the whole experience was well organised.

If you’re visiting Noosa, this is a must-do adventure. We can’t recommend Epic Ocean Adventures Noosa highly enough and would definitely do it again!

I had an incredible kayak trip with JB and Kevin. Kevin was knowledgeable, kind, and an amazing spotter — he got us in position to see multiple whales up close from the kayak, plus several pods of dolphins, turtles, and birds including sea eagles. The whales were the absolute highlight: we could hear them breathing, and it was truly spectacular. I’ve seen whales many times before, but never this close and never in such a serene, peaceful setting. Highly recommend!! Note: this is open water kayaking where you encounter swells so I would take seasickness medicine and be ready to get a workout :)

I had a great time on the dolphin / whale kayak at Double Island Point. The guide Kevin was excellent with his narration during the drive up from Noosa, spotting wildlife, and kayak guiding.

We saw dolphins and whales while kayaking and Kevin was extremely patient to wait for the whales to get closer and not being rigidly fixed to the schedule to get us back to shore and driving back to Noosa. All together we kayaked for a little over 90 minutes in the ocean.

Kayaks and paddles were in good condition and the outfitter does a good job making sure the van is clean and comfortable. Kevin also had a great music playlist and I Shazam’d a couple of the songs.

The only thing is I wish there was an option for solo travelers to use a single kayak. But if you’re in an odd numbered party, you will need to kayak with someone else in a double.

The waves can be strong as it is open ocean. Additionally if you’re prone to sea sickness consider taking medicine as there was one person on the trip who vomited in the ocean.

Our family had a wonderful experience paddle boarding with Epic Ocean Adventures. The environment was serene, making for a peaceful outing. A standout feature was the inclusion of GoPro cam shots, capturing lasting memories. Our guide, Suzie, was professional and made the trip super enjoyable. Overall, highly recommended.

Amazing experience with JB. He was really knowledgeable and gave us loads of interesting info. Got absolutely soaked with the waves and rain but all so worth it. Had 2 beautiful humpback whales hang out with us for about 10mins and saw multiple big schools of dolphins.

I can’t recommend this trip more highly! Such beautiful scenery, the drive is wonderful and the kayaking is amazing- we saw a large pod of dolphins and a hump back whale - up close. Kev and Seb looked after everyone. Kev’s knowledge of the flora and fauna was an added bonus, his commentary was both fascinating and insightful! Must do!!

Thank you again Vince for a wonderful day out! Vince was an expert instructor and guide who shared vast amounts of knowledge with kindness and enthusiasm. Although we didnt see any whales we enjoyed every minute and that was completely down to Vince and his expertise. Simultaneously (somehow) he was entertaining us with stories and teachings of the eco systems, land and sea, whilst managing the group with the mastery of a world champion sheep herder. True class. 👍

We enjoyed the hour long drive along the sandy beach and the open sea kayaking. Our guides, Vincent and Kevin did a great job of looking after everybody and we managed to catch sight of some dolphins! Highly recommended!

Had such a great day trip to double island point with Epic Ocean Adventures. Our guide Vince was a legend, keeping spirits high despite an exhausting day. I wasn't able to do the kayaking due to poor fitness, but he gave me heaps of tips of wildlife spotting from the shore and inner lagoons. 4wd on the great sandy national park was a very cool experience, as was being on the vast pristine honeymoon bay area. The participants who did do the kayak experience reported seeing dolphins and mantas, would recommend if you're able to kayak 6kms.

We loved our day out with Vince. The pick up was easy, Vince had lots of great stories and information to share, and we had an awesome time on drive and the kayaks. Importantly we felt like we were in very safe hands, doing an adventure activity we wouldn't have felt comfortable doing alone.

My only advice would be to eat before hand and ensure you take a hat you don't mind getting wet.

My partner and I booked a paddleboarding adventure to Double Island Point and it did not disappoint! Our guides, Kevin and Seb, were fantastic and fun. The drive along the beach was a blast and we learned a lot about the area and wildlife. Once we were situated at Double Island Point, out came the paddleboards and we had a blast. Seb showed us lots of crabs, rays, and birds. We had a 1230 booking which meant we also just caught the sun setting, which was really the cherry on top. I can 💯 see myself coming back during whale season to kayak!

Epic birthday weekend adventure Easily the most epic part of my 40th birthday weekend! Booked this experience with my son and we had the best day. Kev was an awesome guide and surf instructor. We both got some nice rides in and walked away with great memories.

What a great day!!! Vince was so incredibly knowledgable, but also a terrific fun guide, while keeping everyone’s safety at top of mind. Of course seeing a pod of a dozen dolphins right before our eyes was pretty amazing, made the hard paddle back in a headwind all worthwhile.

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Epic Ocean Adventures on our trip to Double Island Point. From the very beginning, the day felt special, starting with a stunning 4WD beach drive where our guide, Vince, shared his fascinating insights about the local flora and fauna. His deep knowledge of the area and genuine passion for conservation really stood out and added so much to the journey.

Once we arrived, we jumped straight into our kayaks and followed Vince out into the ocean. It was an incredible moment when we closely encountered a pod of dolphins, truly something we’ll never forget. Vince made us and the kids feel safe, welcome and well looked after the entire time, always going above and beyond with his kindness, warmth and enthusiasm.

We can’t recommend this experience highly enough. If you’re visiting Noosa or the surrounding area, this tour is an absolute must-do!

Absolutely Epic! Kevin was great at teaching us how to use the kayak as we had never used one before. He spoke to us about the wildlife and showed us the monitors and there were some eagles as well. We went on the water and he told some traditional lore about rainbow beach. We saw a pod of dolphins surfing the waves and that was awesome! The bus was really tall and took the beach really well.

Overall it was a great trip and would 100% recommend to anyone fit and wanting an informative and safe adventure

Our Kajak Trip with our guide Kevin on the Noosa river was amazing. It’s such a beautiful environment in the mangroves and so many explanations of our guide about plants and animals, we loved it and can only Highlight recommend it.

We had a truly epic day at the Great Sandy National Park with Vince as our guide. This was a private tour with both surfboards and kayaks, and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip to Noosa, and honestly, Australia.

Vince is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the nature, wildlife, geology, and cultural history of the area, and he is also just a genuinely kind and lovely person to spend the day with. The experience of kayaking and surfing in such a pristine and beautiful environment felt very special - one of the most stunning places we’ve ever visited.

We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Noosa or Australia. It’s unforgettable.

Nature to enjoy The guides were easy going and explained everything very well. The equipment was good. The way to get to the spot offers great views of the colour changing dunes, it's good to see a longer part of them. We saw several dolphins, not very close, several times. The guides paid attention that the dolphins did not get stressed by the kayaks.

We had a fabulous experience enjoying the stunning scenery on the beach and in the water. Our tour guide Kevin, was knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend this experience.

Disappointing This tour was a disappointment. The 4x4 trip is over promised (ie an old, stuffy van driving along a beach, just like all the other cars on the beach). The kayak spot is on the open ocean, you kayak out and return back. Seems like a low chance there would be any sea life. If you really want to see dolphins, take a jet boat tour that can find a pod and drive nearer to it.

We had an awesome and truly epic tour with Seb to Double Island Point & Rainbow Beach - it has been amongst the best experiences we have had in more than 30 years of traveling the world. Seb is a fantastic guide: very friendly, full of knowledge, interested in the customer‘s background, great & very skilled driver, very patient and of course the best surf instructor.

The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. I think we were on the tour for around 6 hours but only apx 45 mins of that was actually in the kayaks. I honestly thought after all that driving we would be out there for longer to give more opportunities to find the dolphins. Weather was not great the day we went, we were given the option to cancel, we did go ahead with the tour and unfortunately we did not see any sea animals at all, but did see a kangaroo, some birds and a fox. Light refreshments were chips and Timtams.

Sure. Noosa Main Beach and surrounding national parks and surfing reserves are beautiful. But if you want to escape the summer crowds and experience an unforgettable day, get on an Epic Sea Kayaking or Surf Adventure to Double Island Point. You’ll be informed about the Noosa North Shore, marine life and nature (as well as being entertained) during a fun cruise along the beach. On arrival at the surf beach, you'll be blown away by its beauty. Do this with your friends, family or by yourself, you won’t regret it.

The dolphin kayak was incredible. We saw so many dolphins, a manta ray and a turtle as well as tons of soldier crabs, some sea eagles and a monitor lizard. The whole day was one big adventure and our guides were super lovely too.

Our family did a private eco tour and had an absolutely amazing day. We saw some humpback whales up close in the sea kayaks, had a ball learning to surf and our guide, Seb, was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

My Daughter,wife and myself enjoyed this trip so much. Vince is an excellent guide with a lots of local knowlege and great humor. We are lucky enough to see quite a few dolphins around us pretty close and couple of whales from a distance. highly recommend!

Just unlucky this time I booked this on my birthday, solo travelling in the hope of kayaking whilst whale watching. I have whale watched on boat tours before and thought this sounded like a unique experience and a great way to not disrupt the wildlife. Always tricky though when relying on nature! The weather got bad so I think the trip was maybe cut short, or we were just unlucky. Understandable though as I’m sure they wanted to ensure everyone’s safety. We did see a whale on the horizon when driving in so I think it was just unfortunate timing.
I would recommend avoiding booking during the holidays if possible, as the group was very large. This i’d say was the main downside, as it was hard to hear what the guide was saying and had to just guess and follow the group when they headed back to shore. I get that it’s kind of impossible to be within earshot for such a large group though and to keep everyone together. Maybe we had drifted too far away. We did see a whale when back on shore, just a shame it was after we left the water.
Impressive driving from the guides back through the storm along the beach. They were also kind to drop us at cars/accommodation to avoid the rain. I can only review based on my own experience which was honestly more 3/5 for me but I felt bad to put that when that was partly due to uncontrollable circumstances! I’m sure with a smaller group it would be incredible, no doubt 5/5 and a bit more worth the money. Always the way and a risk when depending on nature!

Epic Experience Epic journey, perfect weather. Felt comfortable with the guides, based on beginners experience and flexible tour exploring and spotting the marine life. It was a great adventure saw whales, dolphins and turtles. It was also very cool driving across Teewah beach and saw plenty of wildlife along the way. Vince was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information about all the sea life. Overall 5 stars and a day I will remember for a long time

We absolutely loved our day out with Tyron and the team. So pleased we did this amazing trip to the beautiful north of Noosa. We saw about 7 leaps from the humpback whales and a huge pod of dolphins, pretty close to our kayaks. Tyron was so knowledgeable and patient, very passionate about the area and wildlife. Thoroughly recommend to those visiting Sunshine Coast. One of the photos shows the yacht that came ashore and was being towed away.

A day out at Double Island Point is a must when visiting the Sunshine Coast if you want a nature and wildlife experience. Vince and Casey were outstanding guides. We tagged along in our own 4wd and they were knowledgeable of the local area and a lot of fun. Never did I feel unsafe when out on the kayaks in open waters. We saw loads of dolphins and whales. Amazing experience. The instructor Tyron was clearly well experienced and knowledgable of the best spots to view the whales. He was also a really friendly guy. We actually managed to get so close to 3 huge humpback whales that could only have been 5-10 yards away from us when they came up for air which was simply breathtaking, and Tyron has been kind enough to send the footage he captured over. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Just one word about our kayak with the whales tour with Epic Ocean Adventures: MAGIC! MAGIC! MAGIC! The images will stay in my mind forever.
It was sunny and warm but windy and the water was very choppy, so not easy to paddle and we got wet quickly. But it was the best day of our two week trip in Australia. We were lucky to see 6 whales, very close to our kayaks, and a young whale playing with the dolphins.
Thanks to our guide Liam for having given us the opportunity to share this magical wild life. The driving on the beach along the colorful cliffs and the "blueberry" crabs were also very beautiful and fun.

Such a fun day. Weather forecast didn’t look favourable but the storms went on around us and we watched from afar. After a cool trip down the beach we were on the water barely 10 min before the whales and dolphin sightings happened. They they came over to us for a closer look. Heart rate elevated but they just swam around us and waved hello. Driving back down the beach in the dark was also a cool experience. Fab adventure. Thanks Vince and JB 🙌🙌

Long time local, just wanted to explore through a visitors eyes and we had the best day. Saw so many whales, birds, dolphins, worms and learnt alot about home. Met some lovely tourists too. Highly recommend. We are pretty confident in kayaks and in the ocean, though our kayak guide gave good clear safety instructions about what to do if there was a problem. Also loved that on the drive up Vince took the time to show native wildlife and honour the smaller creatures too. Loved it all.

We enjoyed the 4x4 drive along the ocean, the kayaking experience, witnessing dolphins, turtles and having a humpback whale going under our kayak. A very refreshing swim afterwards was very welcomed and so were the Tim-tams on the drive back . Overall an amazing day spent in the crystal blue oceans with Epic Ocean Adventures.
