ATV Tour It was amazing! We got there 30 mins early and they were so welcoming! It was only My Daughter and I and she had a blast, Fox took our tour and he taught us some history of the Island. We also saw a Koala! It was so cute.

If you come to Kangaroo Island, you must visit “Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action” and take the quad bike tour with Dave. His number one thing is safety and having fun. He was so patient, caring, kind, informative and a pleasure to be with for the tour. The beach he took us to was gorgeous, the fun we had was off the charts and Dave’s native knowledge about the land and wildlife was impressive. This is something you don’t want to miss.

This was by far the highlight of our trip to K.I.
We did the 3 hour “Edge of the Earth Quad Adventure” and the only bad thing I can say about it, is that we wished it went for longer!
Verity was an absolute gem on the phone when I booked and she upgraded us to a private tour. When we arrived, the bikes were out and ready to go. Dave and his team (Max & Rom) were excellent and the entire trip was amazingly fun. We ended up at a secluded beach in the National Park, that was absolutely stunning and we now have those memories for life!
We are already planning a trip back to Kangaroo Island next year, just so we can do the tour again a couple of more times…

Absolutely fantastic tour and worth every cent! We did the quad bike sunset tour and it was great fun. Riding throughout the bush land on rocky dirt roads amongst native flora and fauna was great. Our tour guide Jordan was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and its furry inhabitants.
Overall a very high recommendation to all those who love a bit of an adventure!

We kicked off the new year with a quad tour. Fox, our amazing guide was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and fun!
Fox provided us with a great practice run followed by the terrain of out choosing! We were lucky enough to come across some kangaroos and were able to make stops to learn more about the island and its history!

Had an absolutely fantastic day out with Dave. Having done quad bike tours in a few different parts of the world now this was definitely the most challenging track. We were a small group so the pace was kept quick and we were able to cover a significant amount of ground and see a lot of scenery.

Quads were well worth it We ended up doing the quad bike tour but were concerned as our 9 year old daughter had never ridden a quad before and wasn't allowed to go on the back of one of ours. Dave our tour guide and quad instructor was absolutely fantastic with all of us and especially the kids. Dave made the 2 hour tour and ride through KI fantastic and was very helpful in explaining and answering everything we asked of him. My daughter felt so comfortable in riding the quad once everything was explained to her and what was expected of her, Dave kept a continuous eye on her at all times and had nothing but encouragement.

DAVE IS A PHENOMENAL GUIDE! Absolutely amazing experience, we had a 7yr old who had never ridden before, Dave was absolutely phenomenal in teaching and talking to him. He is hands down the best guide we have ever experienced. The way he is with children in regard to making sure he has their full attention and understanding is beyond words. Did a guided quad bike tour with MJ, had the best time ever!!! MJ was friendly and knowledgeable, and as first time riders we were all riding through the bush with huge grins and dirty faces!! so so much fun! Can't wait to do it again! highly recommended ???? ????

My adult niece and I went on a quad tour adventure with our terrific guide Jeremie on Saturday February 24rth 2024. He was excellent in every way. Taking our needs into consideration. We had a fabulous time! All the staff were excellent and professional in carrying out their work. We highly recommend this company.

Great Family Fun! I organised the quad bike tour for my family of four (children aged 17 and 18). We had a fabulous time with Fox. We were all first-timers to quad bikes. He made sure we felt comfortable before we left and continued to ensure we were okay with the pace. There were rain jackets available in the case of a downpour, but fortunately the weather held out for us. One of us saw many wallabies on one occasion - they were then scared away and we didn't see anymore. So definitely not lots of wildlife, however the tour was lots of fun and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Awesome adventure, highly recommended Outdoor Action was nice enough to fit a group of 9 in at the last minute. A fantastic time was had by the kids and the adults creating amazing memories of a lifetime! Thanks to Andrew and Jeremie for be such fun guides, you made the day!

Recommended Great fun, well organised and tailored to any level of experience. It was first time for my daughter on ATV, at the end of the tour she was confident. And staff is amazing!

Pete was a very knowledgeable guide. He carefully explained some of the history of Kangaroo Island , colloquially known as KI, Ligurian bees and the kangaroos. We were also fortunate enough to see not one, but two koalas in the same tree which we were told is uncommon. Pete did a great job explaining the impacts of the bush fires and regenerative process of our amazing bushland.

We did the 2 hour all terrain tour and my only regret was not getting the 3hr package.

The staff is super friendly and professional. They showed us the mama koala and a baby koala on the trees by the campground before heading to kayaking. Although the weather was not ideal that day, we still spotted a huge male koala, few hens and birds while kayaking on the river. The river itself is very beautiful and calm. Would recommend for ppl visiting KI.

Great experience. Very professional and friendly. Equipment all well maintained and the staff made sure everyone was inducte and safe. Our instructor, Pete was fabulous. As a first time rider he made me feel very comfortable and got me riding confidently quickly. Also very knowledgeable and broke the ride up with stops to learn about the wild Ligurian bees and more! Great experience. Would highly recommend.

Afternoon Quadbike tour A truly great way to spend a couple of hours on KI. They take a max of 6 people per tour, which in hindsight is perfect, more could have gotten messy. The first half hour or so is spent filling out an indemnity form, getting fitted with gloves, goggles and helmet then instructions and a few runs around a practice course.

Our group was made up of three seperate couples, two of whom were complete beginners with one of them appearing incapable in the least of coping with these terrifying vehicles. Lucky for her, we had Sam. Sam, with the boundless positivity and endless patience cos we all needed it with her! He managed to hold the group together even with this woman taking up the majority of his time. She was switched to an electric version and finally we were off. Due to the fact this woman needed to warm up to a speed of 5km/per hour, Sam subtly indicated to us that it was okay with him if we wanted to hold back a while so we could follow at speed. This was a compromise that worked for us.

There were several stops where Sam put on his eco hat or a flora and fauna one and sometimes his farmer one and pored forth information from a huge store of local knowledge including fascinating first hand insights into the 2020 fires. A really great tour thanks to Sam even with the challenge of someone who I had initially written off as hopeless. She made it back in one piece with satisfaction of having done it herself because Sam refused to give up on her and let her ride behind him. She did a little victory air punch.

A must for Teen kids (pre driving age). Very thorough instruction that scaffolded the learning of our group Marcus the guide laid out safe instructions and practice as well as making us all develop confidence. Very professional event that landed really well with the 14 and 11 year old boys. Thankyou

KI 11/10/2023 It was a great quad bike and island experience. The guide Marcus was excellent and continually made sure our day was fun and safe. Good talks about the island's flora and fauna which was interesting. The bikes were in excellent order which handled the conditions very well and ran perfectly the whole tour.

The highlight of our KI trip Marcus took us on a quad bike tour. He was so great with the kids, a great teacher, full of knowledge and loads of fun. Couldnt recommend Outdoor Action and Marcus enough!

Quad bike adventure = awesome time with a teen! Pete was brilliant. He ran us through the use of the safety equipment and operation of the bike, ensured we were capable of braking, gear changing and driving defensively . and ensured we took breaks to stretch out and admire the changes in scenery. It was lovely having things pointed out to us - and experiencing the full play of the environment (muddy puddles, grassy plains, sand banks, rocks at speed). My child was fully engaged which made for a magic, active experience on Kangaroo Island. A real highlight for both of us!

Great opportunity to get into the bush and have done serious fun at the same time! We had to re-arrange our planned trip at very short notice. KI Outdoor Action very accommodating. Good emphasis on safety without being stifling and opportunity to familiarise ourselves with the quads. Our leader Jordan was very friendly and knowledgeable taking time out to stop and share his knowledge of the ‘bush’. We just wished we hadn’t left this to our last day of an all to brief visit to KI - as we both wanted to take another tour!

Great experience, tour guide was awesome! We went on a 2 hour guided Kayak tour. Guide Emily was great, she told us lots of great facts about the island. Emily was happy to answer our questions and very helpful when we were getting in the kayaks (it’d been a while since we’d kayaked!) It was a nice, easy and calm kayak along the river. Highly recommend!

Not only was this an action packed adventure, we got to see so much flora and fauna. Jordan was a terrific guide with so much knowledge of the area and I loved that he ensured everyone made the most of the trip. From young to old, Jordan paced it so everyone got to go at their preferred pace. We all agreed this was so much fun and a definite highlight of our Kangaroo Island visit. We would definitely do it again and next time do the beach trip. You will be operating accelerator with your right hand and gears with your left leg so check in with staff if you experience mobility issues. I cant recommend this tour highly enough. Quad Biking Ride My husband and I had so much fun riding the quad bikes at KI. Our tour guide was amazing. She stopped and showed us the gonna, tiger snake, and koala and explained the uniqueness of the local wildlife compared to the mainland.Add this as a must do whilst in KI. ????

Amazing morning -quad biking was great fun and we got to see so much. Marcus was super friendly and encouraging and shared his vast knowledge about the area with us. Absolutely fantastic guided quad bike tour. Our guides, Pete and Jordan did an excellent job taking us along winding tracks through the bush and out to Cape Kersaint, with stops along the way to check out the sights and to provide us their knowledge of the islands unique flora and fauna. There was also great little safety demo and warm up before heading out on the trails for anyone who might be a bit nervous on the quads or needs some refreshing. Pete and Jordan also gave us some tips on other locations to check out on KI which was very helpful. Lots of fun and great scenery along the way, highly recommend!
