Start from 7.30 and 8.00am and travel via Sheffield, the Town of Murals before travelling up into the mountains through gorges, rain forest and button grass plains to reach the destination of Cradle Mountain, one of Tasmania’s most recognisable landmarks and one of Tasmania’s most visited attractions.
On this fully guided day tour you experience the unique flora, fauna and geographical features of the World Heritage listed National Park.
Please advise, from the following pick-up points, where you will meet our coach:
- 7.30am The “Tiger Bus” stop at the Cenotaph on Paterson Street (across from the TAFE)
- 7.35am Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston
- 7.40am Best Western Plus Launceston
- 7.45am Launceston Backpackers
For this tour ensure you have warm clothing, wet weather gear and comfortable walking shoes suitable for the Cradle Mountain experience!

Cradle Mountain Day Tour – Pickup Information
Please note that your tour pickup time will be between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM. Kindly ensure you are ready and waiting at your designated collection point:
- The “Tiger Bus” stop at the Cenotaph on Paterson St (across the road from the TAFE)
- Hotel Grand Chancellor
- Best Western Hotel
- Launceston Backpackers
If there are any delays to the tour, we will notify you accordingly.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
– This track is noted at a Grade 3 for hiking; some bushwalking experience is recommended. Tracks during the walk may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps. Please ensure you have an adequate fitness level to complete the walk for your own safety.
– It is at the discretion of the tour guide to deny a passenger participation due to the physical demands of the walk. Should this be the case, the passenger will be transferred to participate in the Park Explorer Tour
– Minimum participation age of 14 years old
– This tour operates in all weather conditions, unless cancelled by the tour operator. Wind, rain and snow can occur anytime of the year.

We got to experience local history and amazing views, with clear skys over cradle mountain and learn the amazing history behind it becoming a heritage park and experience the story of those early pioneers.
Highly recommend the trip.
