Watch Broome’s iconic sunset from the best vantage point in town — aboard Ballena, our 42‑foot sailing catamaran. As we glide along the pristine coastline, settle into the relaxed Kimberley atmosphere with complimentary canapés served by our friendly crew. Choose a chilled beer, glass of wine or handcrafted cocktail from our fully licensed bar, and take in the shifting colours of the afternoon light as the sun sinks toward the horizon. For those wanting a little extra fun, our custom boom net offers the perfect chance to cool off and enjoy the water from a unique perspective.

Your experience begins the moment we collect you from your accommodation in our courtesy bus. When we arrive, you’ll step onto the warm sand, feel the Indian Ocean at your feet, and make your way to our tender waiting at the shoreline. From there, you’ll be transferred to Ballena for a relaxed and memorable cruise showcasing the natural beauty, calm waters and laid‑back charm that Broome is known for.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply soaking up the magic of the Kimberley, this sunset experience offers an unforgettable way to end your day in Broome.

You will be picked up by our transfer vehicle from the front of your accomodation as close to the allocated pick up time as possible however these times can vary slightly. We will do our best to contact you if the transfer is running behind schedule so please allow for a 5 minute delay before contacting for a whereabouts of the transfer. Thank you for your understanding! 

Transfer is to vessel departure point at either Gantheaume Point Beach for Cable Beach cruises or Entrance Point for Roebuck Bay cruises. Please be aware this is a beach transfer which includes a very shallow wade to the transfer vessel. For maximum comfort, we recommend shoes that you can easily slip on/off and shorts or pants that can be easily rolled up. 

Once onboard our catamaran Ballena, you will be treated to one complimentary beer or wine to enjoy as we cruise. On Ballena you will find bean bags and cushions for comfort, ample shade, amenities and change room facilities, a fully serviced bar with beers, wines and cocktails available for purchase along with complimentary canapés and a fruit platter.  

Remember to Bring: 
– Towel and bathers (if you would like to swim in the boom net)
– Hat and sunglasses

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Cancellation Policy: Broome Tours Charters: cancellations made more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure date may be made without penalty and a full refund will be given to the customer. Cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours of departure date will result in loss of total costs. Private Charters: cancellations made more than three (3) months prior to departure date (as logged in operator’s booking system) may be made without penalty and a full refund will be given to the customer. Cancellations made within three (3) months of departure will result in loss of specified deposit, and cancellations made within two (2) weeks prior to departure will result in loss of total costs. The operator has the right to retain all deposits received up to the amount of the cancellation fee and invoices will be issued for any further amounts outstanding. Weather Cancellations: cancellations made by the operator due to weather conditions will entitle the customer to a full refund of the Fare Price. Please note that if the customer made the booking for a cruise or private charter through a booking agent, all refunds of deposits and booking fees are to be obtained directly from the booking agent. Such booking agent may at their discretion retain a booking fee less than or equal to 100% of the total price. Other Cancellations: cancellations may be made at the operator’s discretion due to mechanical breakdowns or failing to meet the minimum numbers required to operate prior to the cut off time (4 hours before departure), which may result in the vessel being unable to operate. If this occurs the customer will receive a full refund of Fare Price, should the customer be unable to travel on an alternate date.Please note that if the customer made the booking for a cruise or private charter through a booking agent, all refunds of deposits and booking fees are to be obtained directly from the booking agent. Such booking agent may at their discretion retain a booking fee less than or equal to 100% of the total price. Failure to Board: It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they arrive on time at the nominated point of pick up by the courtesy bus or for the departure of the tender for boarding of the vessel. Failure to do so will mean that the passenger forfeits the full fare price to the operator.
