With great guide, everything is splendid It was a splendid two-day great ocean tour starting from downtown Melbourne, all the way to Port Campbell, staying overnight at Apollo Bay. Our driver cum guide, Melvin, had been exceptionally great in explaining the details of the places where we stopped. He took care of everyone within the family from the kids to the elderly. With Melv, we saw how he demonstrated empathy, picking up a dropped hat to avoid car running over it and put somewhere visible lest the owner comes back searching. But, alas, probably 2-day trip had been too short to explore such amazing places. Hopefully, one day we will come back for more.

10/10 recommend Peter did an amazing job and we had a great tour! Pick up was on time and smoothless and the organisation was well-done. Peter made sure to show us all places and hidden gems on the great ocean road and beyond so we saw lots of beautiful small towns and restaurants. Not to forget about the kangaroos on the golf court. I can only recommend this tour!!

A Fab Day Out!! What a fabulous experience! Even during the middle of winter we had great views, perfect for photography opportunities and selfies with family and friends. The trip has been a great duration for us, we have been able travel all around the surroundings and had opportunities to view wildlife and beautiful towns located on the Great Ocean Road. The trip started at a perfect time meaning the crowds were very limited and we were able see everything easily. Our guide John was great, very friendly and knew a lot of interesting facts!

Not every trip remain memorable. But surely this one (for good reason). Started at 6.30 am, warmly welcomed by the friendly bus captain John. He engaged and guided us well. Places we visited in this trip were very well planned. The weather helped as well. Time given to us in every spot was just right. Bus captain-guide was able to tell about the places and its history. This reverse itinerary is good that we escape crowd and traffic.
Smooth ride from start to end. Vehicle is very comfortable. Small pop quizzes kept us engaged. Overall wonderful experience.

Highly recommended Great Ocean road reverse itinerary tour Absolutely loved the tour. From the start very well organised and planned. Tour operator texted us stating bus is ready to pick us. This is the first tour I ever received any text from any tour operators till date.
Peter was our guide. He is great in engaging us , witty and very experienced. He explained to us clearly all the details, about the wild life , about the places we can visit. He planned it in such a way that we see the stunning places with out any crouds. Brought us to places we can spot Koalas and Kangaroos in their wilderness. Thoroughly enjoyed my trip. This operator will be on my top list next time when I visit again :)

Book it if you are hesitating! I probably would not notice there is a GOR tour that goes the reversed way if no one tells me. It turned out to be a really enjoyable trip where we avoided all the crowds and took our time to appreciate the views and walks at the spots while taking pictures freely, instead of bumping shoulders with other visitors. I reckon the size of the tour group also helps to maintain the quality of the tour.

The guide John has a sense of humour; however, his tone was soft, and I was in the back, so I could not catch what he had said sometimes. He is passionate about the tour and knowledgeable all the way through. It is unbelievable how quick he can spot the wild koalas on a fast bus. 😄

Great ocean road experience My family and I took this tour with John and it was such an amazing experience. The weather was perfect. John was knowledgeable and fun! I have been on many excursions and this one is one of my favorites. It was the first time I saw a kangaroo in person. The views are breathtaking. Thanks to John, I’ll never forget this day!

Could be better Jhon is a good guide and driver, but he didn’t take us to Maits Rest Rainforest Walk, which is included in the itinerary and I was really looking forward to it. I felt so sad and disappointed :( I asked him why we didn’t go and he told me that because the rainforest road is muddy, but I really don’t mind to be honest :( we arrived city at 5:30 and i was crying inside my heart.

Best of everything sight seeing and wildlife What a great day. Started early to avoid traffic. The drive eas long but sooo worth it!
Our driver and guide John Emanuel was so knowledgeable and accommodating to us. He took us to the best spots. And he made all hus effort for us to see everything including beautiful koalas 🐨 and kangaroos 🦘. We finished the day with a great ice cream. It was a great day. Highly recommend.

Great tour, great place! 10/10! Thank you very much, John, for an amazing day. He's a very funny and kind guide who shared information about the towns and points we visited. We didn't have to pay any extra fees. He even stopped so we could appreciate the koalas and kangaroos (loved it). The reverse tour was the best call because John took us to the best spots to enjoy the views before other groups got there. I recommend doing a small group like this one, plus the bus is really comfy. We loved every single part of the day!

Fantastic trip! This tour was honestly incredible; we got to see the Twelve Apostles, walk down the Gibson Steps, have lunch in Apollo Bay, and even stop in Colac for a really nice break. Peter also made a special effort to make sure we saw koalas and kangaroos along the way, which added such a fun and personal touch to the day. Ending the tour with a visit to the chocolate factory was the sweetest way to wrap everything up. Everything felt easy and well-timed, the small group made it super comfortable, and the scenery was unbelievable the whole way. And honestly, a huge thank you to Peter. He was amazing the entire day and genuinely made the experience even better.

The car is so important on an all-day tour! If your butt, back, or knees hurt, it totally affects the next day’s plans. But this van was super comfortable!!!

Peter was honestly so, so friendly! He tried so hard to show us koalas and kangaroos, and he shared so much history and information. We loved it!!
Every single spot he let us see was just 💯!!!!❤️🫶🫰

3. Convenience❤️
They picked us up and dropped us off right in front of our accommodation, which was incredibly convenient. I even forgot to bring water, but they provided it—so nice!

4. No pressure at all❤️
Some tour guides tell you where to eat (usually not great places), or rush you to hurry up and get back on the bus. But this tour never pushed us. It was really free and relaxed, so we were able to find good restaurants and grab great coffee! (We all know how important food is when traveling, right?)

Seriously, even if you pay a little extra, choose this one!!! You won’t regret it!! (And I’m even from Brisbane 😂😂)

Amazing Great Ocean Road tour This was a great day! We covered a lot of ground but it didn’t feel rushed. Going in reverse order was the right choice so you see the 12 apostles first thing. A few areas were closed when we went so we couldn’t walk as much around Loch Ard Gorge or go to Gibsons steps but it was still very beautiful and worthwhile. We had amazing sightings of a few adorable koalas and a group of kangaroos which was the highlight for me! Peter was a great guide, he gave us lots of information and was good at striking a balance with letting us enjoy each place while keeping us on time. So glad I chose this small group tour after reading countless average reviews for other tours. Would highly recommend!

Tour of the 12 Apostles thru Ocean Road. Rafi was an amazing Tour guide he basically took us thru the history of every location we went. We got to see the 12 apostles, walk through a beautiful rainforest and got to see kangaroos in the wild. We even got to stop at a beautiful chocolate factory. Had amazing seafood and a restaurant recommended by Rafi excellent choice for lunch. I have to say Rafi was really the best tour guide in Melbourne.

Awesome Tour with Peter We had a great day on the Great Ocean Road with Peter as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and well-paced. Peter was also very attentive to our preferences and adjusted the itinerary to suit what we wanted to see most, which we really appreciated. Nice day, but lots of driving time We had a good day, managing to see the highlights despite rain in the afternoon. The apostles were gorgeous, with sun, clouds and waves making nice pictures. We saw the koalas and kangaroos and one wallaby, and the laughing kookaburra. Melvin is a knowledgeable guide though he is also the driver, so you are often making your own way after his introductory info - which was fine. It's a packed itinerary, lots of time in the van driving, but we knew that going in. If you are looking for a slower pace, a two day tour would be advised. (Ps- The chocolate factory hot chocolate is only ok! The ice cream and brownies are better )

Very pleasant day Lovely guide, nice variety of experiences, time to regroup between sites, ample breaks, relaxed pace, and easy to moderate walks. Saw kangaroos and koalas in nature! Beautiful shore/ocean and rainforest scenery. Small group tour was very pleasant with all participants interacting with each other.

Fantastic Excellent excursion. Multiple great sites, animals and info along the way. Favorite part was of course the apostles and the koalas.

Scenery and Wildlife The scenery and wildlife were amazing. I especially loved the Koalas. Our guide, Peter, did an excellent job narrating and driving. My only complaint is my feet were on top of the wheel well and it was uncomfortable.

Memorable birthday trip 🥳 Our driver/guide is Peter. He has nice personality. He’s trying to make everyone get involved on the tour. He’s caring too. He knows when some of us sick and trying to give solutions to make ourself feel better. He’s open to discussion as well so the trip could be relax, flexible, but still on track with the schedule. Stunning view on Grear Ocean Road! My husband and I booked this trip during our honeymoon, it has been a really great experience, totally worth it!!!
Our guide has been very welcoming and clear during the whole trip. We had the chance to visit different breathtaking corners and to spot several wildlife animals.

A perfect small party tour - well worth it! A fantastic day trip; 10 out of 10. By going to the end of the Great Ocean Road (or at least the 12 Apostles), we missed the crowds and had a better opportunity to appreciate the incredible views. Our guide, Mike, could not have been more adept at finding Koalas and Kangaroos and both giving a good overview and answering any questions we had. He was also an excellent driver who was careful to ask if any of us had a proclivity to car sickness.

Comfy and safe way to tour the Great Ocean Road! Overall the experience was very good. I appreciated being picked up at my door even though my location was slightly out of the service zone. Peter did a good job and everything was as described. My only concern was that the van we used was not the drivers usual and he was hard to hear as the audio system was not the best.

A tour of a really impressive piece of Victoria. Excellent trip with a knowledgable guide. We ticked off all the required stops with a few extras.
Peter's commentary was louder and softer at various points. This made it a little difficult for me to hear.
I have to remind myself that as an Australian I know some of the info, but for the others it is all new.
The koalas were a great hit.
