Wouldn't que for the penguin ride if it is busy as it is very short. We were lucky because we were able to hop straight on, but I would have been disappointed if I had been queuing for ages, that said, the penguins were great.
Admission fee was reasonable and the staff were all cheerful, friendly and helpful

Super cool great for the family. The penguins were under construction but should be up and running in a week (but we will be gone) definitely purchase ahead of time and bundle it if you plan on visiting anything else. Its a time thing so I would go earlier in the day but you run the risk of a school group which is cool and a lot at the same time
The tunnels... French kiss amazing. 10 out of 10 aquarium.

It was such a beautiful walk around Sea Life. It's a lot bigger than you think from the outside. The underwater experience is spectacular. We spent hours in there. I would avoid school holidays though, we went during the week non-school hols and it was still busy. But no queues. Get the deal for Madame Tussauds too. Very affordable!

The aquarium is a great place to visit with your kids. It's home to a diverse range of animals, and the penguin exhibit is definitely the highlight.
Be sure to check the schedule in advance so you can catch the penguin tour. Unfortunately, we missed it when we arrived, but it's still a wonderful place to explore with kids, families, or friends. I really enjoyed it.

We visited SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium on a rainy day and it was an excellent choice. The underwater tunnels with sharks, rays, and fish were very impressive, and although the penguin expedition ride wasn’t available, we still enjoyed seeing the penguins up close. A well-organized and enjoyable indoor activity in Sydney.

It's a nice aquarium, definitely worth it. Perfect activity for a rainy day, just make sure to book in advance if it's high season (school holidays) because it gets packed. The highlights for me where the Sharks, penguins and the dugong!
If you need to pick between the aquarium and the Wild Life park next to it, definitely go for the aquarium!!

The aquarium is quite large and has many areas to visit. It is a suitable place for families to bring children to play on the weekend. My sister's children really enjoyed coming here and will come back next time.

Super enjoyed our first visit in SEA LIFE SYDNEY Aquarium. Lots of underwater/sea animals to see. No wait as we immediately able to enter since we bought our tickets online and booked our schedule the day before.
Food is available inside but only for light snack (more options outside if you need to eat proper meals). Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes as you'll need to walk A LOT inside. Fun experience with the penguins and also able to hold/touch starfishes.

The aquarium is stunning, though I wish the windows were a bit cleaner. Still, the overall experience is definitely worth it. I particularly enjoyed the short boat ride through the penguin exhibit. It was amazing getting so close to the sharks. Despite its smaller size, I highly recommend this aquarium. However, I wouldn’t suggest visiting the nearby wildlife park, it didn’t seem worth the money.

Very large building with lots to do. There were a variety of fishes, sharks, sting rays and penguins.
It was very busy when I was there (weekday and school holidays) which was a negative for me. Would recommend going early in the morning and not during school holidays to avoid the crowd.

Truly appaling experience.
Half the exhibits are empty, the rest are not interested.
Extremely dirty glass to see the sharks and fih, truly terrible viewing experience.
You spend most of your time walking around from one pointless exhibit to another.
Really disappointing.
Avoid at all costs. Really not worth your time.

Kids loved the experience. Lots to see as you walk around. We went on a wet and cold day so it was busy, but I thought it was going to be busier so that was nice. We took our own snacks/lunch to stop at the top and eat while we watched the dugong bob up and down to the surface. There is lots to spot and see. An interactive pool. There are some extra things to do at a cost. We didn't do.
The tunnel is cool and lots to view as you walk through or stop and look.

Great place to spend an afternoon with the kids. The price is discounted in the evening but not all the attractions are available. Don’t miss the dugong! The exhibits were very informative and interactive which the kids enjoyed. There is a bit of walking involved. There are ramps and the place is wheelchair friendly.

Sea Life Aquarium is a fantastic place to explore marine life! My family and I had a great time checking out all the different sea creatures. The tanks were colorful and fascinating, and we learned a lot about underwater ecosystems. It's a perfect outing for both kids and adults, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

We went as a family to see all these wonderful creatures almost in their own habitat. Highlights for us were the Penguins as our youngest daughter has a bit of an obsession with these beautiful creatures and of course the Grey nurse sharks. Great place, had specials on when we went so tickets were basically half price. Whole family really enjoyed it.

Lots of fun, great use of space, lots to see :) I really enjoyed the short Penguin boat ride! (It’s pretty cold in there to sit the penguins but you’re only in there for a few minutes)
I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t more signs/information on the sea creatures that I could read. They had monitors which cycled through profiles of the creatures but not as descriptive and interesting facts filled as it used to be.

This was a pretty big aquarium, my favourite part was the area and the tunnel with the sharks. But just my personal opinion, they had such a big variety of all species of fish and other animals. Overall it was a pretty fun experience. I loved the interior design of the place as well, it was very well done, considering the space constraints. There were a lot of interactive activities as well, which I enjoyed. A good place to visit if you're a tourist or just a marine life enthusiast.

But just my personal opinion, I do not know this area of expertise, but the tanks looked a little small for the fish. But overall it was a pretty fun experience. Great attraction to see for young and old. Gets really busy during the school holidays so go early but just be patient and expect to wait at times. Lots to see and very fascinating inside. Sharks, sting rays, dugongs, jelly fish, starfish, and lots of types of fish, etc. Watching the feeding is also good fun.

Best Sea-life Aquarium for sure!!! ???????????? Lots to see and learn. It’s really worth the money if you have the time to walk around and observe these animals habitats. So many sea animals which you wouldn’t find anywhere else either.
Highly recommend the behind the scene activity as well. It was very educational & gave depth to what we were looking at.

Haven’t come here in quite some time and came for my son birthday $51 for an adult ticket. The price has increased quite a lot over the past few years. And a few in service attractions were closed like the arctic boat. Kids tried the VR $20 for two (extra cost). The penguins were so cute and the shark display was very big. My favourite was the dugón who was very playful with its keeper. Gift shop had so much to choose from. I’ll be back in another few years it hasn’t changed much pre covid. It was in all a nice outing for my son. I would recommend buying tickets online to save money.

When you arrive at a busy time, the line up you see first is actually for those who have already bought tickets and are waiting to enter SEA life. To buy tickets, you'll have to walk a bit further until you see the ticketing machines around the corner of the massive building. This is not clearly indicated and rather confusing.
We bought tickets for SEA life only, but you can buy combination tickets that allow you to visit other attractions like Madam Tussaud and Wild Life that are at the same location but separated from SEA life.
After lining up for about 10 minutes we were able to enter SEA life.
From the way the corridors and displays are designed, it felt they did their best to fit as much and a practical as possible in a limited space. It's pretty narrow and on a busy Saturday afternoon, it was tough sometimes to navigate through people and prams at the same time.
Overall, it's an amusing place to be on a rainy day with small kids. However, we don't recommend it if your aim is to learn all about Australia's sea life. There is relatively little explanation on what you're looking at in the aquaria. Also, don't expect a lot of interactive things to do.
We spent about two hours walking at a fairly low pace before reaching the exit. But do expect that about 70 percent is display of actual sea life and 30 percent is just corridors or elevated walkways.

Quality of the place has deteriorated over the period.. the glass had stains which were distracting and probably hinting at maintenance issues. Staff are friendly and helpful.
PS: Thank you team@sealife for responding. Understand about the water. i was more pointing out unclean glass..it was deposits and dirt which has to be cleaned. its unclean glass and not unclean water. Fishes looked happy :)

Well located with easy access, Sydney sealife was a nice experience for us. It was our baby’s first visit and she loved it as much as we did. The specimens are very beautiful and different from other sealife. The place is very clean with nice staff. The souvenir shop is also very nice, with a range of gifts that can be bought.
We did some photo with magic memories but none were available on the add nor online and we haven’t had any feedback or email from them - very unprofessional

I had my two young grandchildren with me both hungry. Finally got to a snack bar and all they had was hot dogs, crisps and lollies.
The whole place needs a good clean and refurbishing. The under water tunnels were grotty and the glass needed a good clean. The penguin area should be reported to the RSPCA.
We finally arrived at the cafe. My grandchildren read the signs and asked for a sausage roll each. I stood in the queue until it was my turn only to be told there were no sausage rolls left, This was 12.30 lunchtime in school holidays. I went back to the children and they decided hot chips would do. Back in the queue I went only to be told they were also sold out of chips.
The tables in the cafe were dirty and needed painting.
It was an expensive day out and one I will NEVER attempt again.
