Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Alice Springs or Ayers Rock to Uluru Sunset

Your adventure begins with a picturesque journey through the outback. We pick you up from Alice Springs (approx. 6:45 AM) or Ayers Rock (airport or resort, approx. 1:30 PM). Stop at Erldunda Roadhouse for a coffee break, then head to Yulara Town Square for lunch at your leisure.

In the afternoon, explore Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Take short, guided walks around the base of Uluru, learning the sacred traditions of the Anangu people. As evening approaches, savour drinks and a BBQ while watching the sunset over Uluru. Overnight at the Outback Pioneer Hotel.

Day 2: Uluru Sunrise, Kata Tjuta, and Kings Canyon

Rise early for a breathtaking sunrise view of Uluru with a warm cup of tea or coffee. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, we set out to explore Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a leisurely walk through Walpa Gorge and take in the spectacular views from the viewing platform. In the afternoon, travel to Kings Canyon Resort in Watarrka National Park for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Kings Canyon Rim Walk

After breakfast, embark on the guided Kings Canyon Rim Walk—one of the Northern Territory’s most spectacular hikes. ᾗE This rewarding trail showcases towering red cliffs, the sandstone domes of the Lost City, and the lush Garden of Eden. Spend a relaxing afternoon at the resort, where you can book optional extras like scenic helicopter flights. Enjoy an included dinner before settling in for the night.

Day 4: Kings Creek Bed Walk to Alice Springs

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before joining a gentle Kings Creek Bed Walk, offering a different perspective of the canyon’s stunning landscape. After checking out, we begin our journey back to Alice Springs, arriving at approximately 5:30 PM to conclude your unforgettable Red Centre adventure.
