Neil was so helpful in suggesting different routes, and we decided to challenge ourselves by riding from Uraidla to Mt Lofty. The e-bikes made it far easier than we expected, and it was such a fantastic way to take in the beauty of the Adelaide Hills and explore places we may never have otherwise seen.
A huge thank you to Sandra and Neil for their friendliness, advice and hospitality. They really made the whole experience feel relaxed, welcoming and memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and unique way to explore the Hills.
Looking forward to booking our bikes again for next year’s event!
Thank you 🙏
The bikes were of an excellent standard, and handled the Adelaide hills with ease. Will be in contact again for next year!
Booking was simple, communication from Sandy was excellent, and everything ran smoothly. It was our first time on e-bikes and we were genuinely impressed — easy to ride, effortless on the hills, and we covered far more ground than we would have on standard bikes.
Sandy helped us plan the route using a free app, which worked perfectly. We started and finished at the Uraidla Hotel (great coffee, pastries and pub food) and stopped at Pike & Joyce Winery for spectacular views, food and wine. The ride itself was full of photo opportunities and scenery the whole way.
All in all, a perfect day for locals and visitors alike. We’ll definitely hire again soon.

Sandy goes above and beyond by providing new e-bikes (ours were Kalkahoff and a Focus) and good, well-fitting helmets, bike gloves, panniers, or a bike pack (which can hold a bottle of wine if you hit up the wineries). She had hand sanitizer and sunscreen available. Bring your own water bottle, or buy water (or a coffee) at the cafe next door.
Recommend you wear brightly colored shirts or buy a Uraidla cycling jersey at the cafe.
