Shared Barossa Valley Wine Experience
Discover the Barossa Valley with a local guide who calls it home.
If you’re planning to stay in the Barossa Valley, you’ve made a good decision.
Your holiday shouldn’t begin with a long drive from Adelaide. It should begin when I collect you from your accommodation and we head into Australia’s most celebrated wine region.
Every guest brings something different to the day. You might be an experienced wine enthusiast, or someone who simply enjoys a good glass of wine with friends. You may have toured wine regions around the world, or this could be your very first wine tour. Either way, you’ll feel right at home.
With no more than six guests, there’s time for conversations, flexibility and the occasional unexpected stop. If everyone is enjoying a winery, there’s no need to rush away because a timetable says it’s time to leave.
We’ll usually visit four or five cellar doors during the day, from internationally recognised wineries to boutique family producers that many visitors would never find on their own.
Along the way we’ll also explore some of the villages, landscapes and stories that have made the Barossa one of Australia’s most distinctive wine regions.
Lunch is a generous charcuterie platter showcasing local produce, enjoyed at one of the wineries along the way. It’s another opportunity to slow down, share stories and simply enjoy being in the Barossa Valley.
Is this the right tour for you?
This experience is ideal if you enjoy discovering places rather than simply ticking them off a list.
If you’re looking for a relaxed day, genuine conversations, beautiful scenery and excellent wines, I think you’ll feel very much at home.
If your goal is to visit as many wineries as possible in the shortest time, there are other tours that may suit you better.
