Scenery
The Barossa is a patchwork of rolling vineyards, stone cottages, and fertile farmland. Old vine vineyards, heritage buildings, and wide open landscapes define this unforgettable region.

Great driver. Trips are well organised but with plenty of choice and independence. A great way to experience Adelaide’s wine regions.
All the venues were great and the day ran very smoothly.
Lorry (our driver) was super friendly and gave us plenty of good recommendations for the venues, thank you for a fab day!
Not only did he get us around safely and on time, but he’s also a history teacher and an absolute wealth of knowledge. He shared the facts, stories, and local insights throughout the day, which made the whole experience even more special. His personality, humour, and passion for the region added so much to the tour and really elevated our day.
I forgot to say, I left my bag on the bus, Yvette called me and arranged for it to be returned to Hahndorf the next day, thanks Yvette
The experience was smooth and well-organised. Our driver and guide, along with his mate, were absolutely excellent — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip so enjoyable. The group was great too — such a fun and friendly bunch! Highly recommend this tour for a relaxed day of good wine, beautiful scenery, and great company.
You can tell he (and I’m sure the rest of the guides) has a deep passion for these glorious wine regions, and we were lucky to have such an amazing experience with TrailHopper. Can’t wait to tick another region off my list on my next trip back to Adelaide.
Highly recommend this tour for people who want the flexibility in creating their own day out. Five stars!
Yvette runs like clockwork.
Yvette made sure all our bookings were in order, offered thoughtful suggestions to help us make the most of our time, and created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Her friendly energy and attention to detail really elevated the experience.
We loved the flexibility of the hop-on, hop-off format and the ease of visiting multiple wineries without the hassle of driving. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a fun, well-organised, and scenic day out in McLaren Vale!
Laurie our guide and made our day as he was super knowledgeable and gave us great tips on how to use our time best.
We visited Rusden winery for wine tasting, Lambert for lunch (fantastic food) and Yalumba for more wine tasting and a walk around the gorgeous grounds.
We would highly recommend Trail Hopper as an excellent day to visit the Barossa Valley and we intend to go back to explore more and will use Trail Hopper again. Thank you.
We were surprised at how nice the food was at Oxenberry wines along with great wines.
Bus driver was friendly and everything ran on time.
Would defo do another one!!
Highly recommend it
