Important Tour Information
Fitness & Walking: A moderate level of fitness is required. You should be comfortable walking on uneven ground, including steps and incline sections. This tour is highly recommended for guests aged 10 years and over.
What to Bring: Please wear sturdy walking shoes with good grip. Bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and a warm jacket or rain layer, as mountain weather can change quickly.
Duration: Please allow approximately 9 hours for this full-day experience.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The walk requires a medium level of fitness, participants should be able to walk over uneven ground with some inclines and ascents.
Your guide will be able to organise some alternative routes and shortcuts for those taking it easy. We assist people who may be unsteady or in need of rests along the way. We’ll also let others move on quicker with some extra tracks and circuits.

Incredible day with a perfect guide - 100% worth doing We had an absolutely amazing day as a family of 6 on a full day fully customized Blue Mountains tour. Our experience from start to finish was 6 stars. We were blessed to have Stuart - an amazing guide with knowledge on everything you could throw at him, who was also a careful driver, and very considerate and flexible, constantly adjusting to what we wanted to do and see, and suggesting perfect options whether it was activities, places to eat, or best vistas. We were lucky to have a perfectly clear perfect weather day, which is such a bonus in the mountains to appreciate the vast jaw dropping panoramas. Stuart knew everything from the history to the types of plants and wildlife and could draw our attention to hidden gems and hidden details that we would never have known about. We also had incredible interactions with Australian animals at a wild life park and once again Stuart was amazing at explaining everything about them, giving tips and so on. The drive to Blue Mountains from Sydney takes roughly 2 hours - we were in a luxury Mercedes van where Stuart had drinks and even snacks for us and the time flew as the entire time he was telling us incredible information - he was also full of humor and we were laughing constantly. All in all we were just incredibly spoiled, and have nothing but the best things to say. Our tour even last longer than it should have and Stuart was more than happy to give us all the extra time and attention. We feel like we parted as friends. In the last 3 weeks we have been on some quality bus tours through New Zealand and Sydney i must say without a doubt this tour was the best because of our guide Mark "Fair Dinkum"

Search for Sydney Adventure Tours-
We juat wrapped up our day trip to Featherdale and Blue Mt Scenic World earlier this week and it was fantastic and memorable. We received a few recommendations from FB and also did our own Google search as to which tour group read the best, was kid friendly and had the best itinerary that worked for us. What really sold us is the summary for each destination that we had visited. For example, Sydney Adventure Tours had a short summary as to why visit the Featherdale Wildlife Park early in the am vs afternoon like other tours. Our seven year old got to see so many animals wide awake in the early morning even the Tasmanian devil which is nocturnal was out and about to greet us! What a treat! Also had a few exchanges via email with Craig the owner and he was very timely with his responses even though the time difference (US)
Food-
Our guide, Mark was very helpful and a true Aussie. Since we are a foodie family he helped us narrow down the best cuisines esp since we wanted to experience the best Aussie type foods! He took us to the Bakehouse and we had some very tasty meat pies! Almost got to try the kangaroo but sold out!
Knowledge-
Mark, our guide and driver was very kind and knowledgeable. He would share some history as well as backgrounds to each area we would pass by as we traveled towards each destination. We aren't big hikers but he recommended and drove us over to Olympian Rock and it was absolutely beautiful as if you're on top of the world! Thanks Mark!
Drive-
Mark was skilled, safe and took care of us while driving the van. There was bottled water supplied, the van was clean and comfortable.
My family really enjoyed our first trip to Sydney and will definitely use Sydney Adventure Tours again upon our next visit. Thanks Craig and Mark

Spent the day with our private guide (Ben) who took our group of five on a moderately challenging hike thru the Blue Mountains with stops along the way at the Featherdale wildlife park (koalas and kangaroos!) and a nice little town for lunch. Ben was friendly and knowledgeable and pointed out things we certainly wouldn’t have seen or experienced without him being there.
The sights were simply amazing and the whole experience from start to finish was professional and entertaining. Next time we’re back, a wine tasting tour will be in our future.

We took this tour with my family, and Mark did an excellent job. It was raining, but his stories and cheerfulness kept us motivated along the way. He took photos and adapted the trip so everyone could enjoy it, including my mother who had difficulty walking. He knows a great deal about Australian history and wildlife. Also a great Dj bus. We booked a trip with Sydney Adventure Tours to the Blue Mountains National park with a stop at feather dale wildlife park ( recommended by Stuart our guide, ).
Our journey from Sydney to the Blue mountains was filled with history & many scenic stops including Luera a quaint village for lunch & the 3 sisters in Katoomba.
Stuart led us on a great 1.5 hour hike from the Jamison lookout to Wentworth falls through the rainforest.
I would highly recommend Stuart who was extremely knowledgeable and took great care to keep us safe during our tour.

We went on the Blue Mountains luxury tour with Mark as our guide. It was a true small group tour in a very comfortable van that was very clean and had great visibility. I am a big guy (well over 6 foot and not skinny) so van space is important to me on tours. The tour was over 9 hours, but the time flew by. The bushwalk was a highlight especially accented by Mark’s knowledge of the flora and fauna. We really enjoyed the time at the wildlife sanctuary and would love to have spent more time there, but all in all our time was managed very well. Mark’s audio commentary was excellent in the van and the sound system performed nicely which tends to be a problem on many tours we go on. We learned a lot about Australia. The bushwalk registered 17 flights and some 10,000 steps on my Apple Watch. The views were breathtaking and well worth the hike.
We had perfect weather in mid April. We were in Sydney on a cruise ship stop for the day. We had complications due to customs, but the communication and accommodation by the company were excellent in arranging our pick up and drop off.
BTW. The lunch was great and we appreciated the recommendations and suggestions from Mark as to what was available.
We have no negative feedback whatsoever for this experience and would wholeheartedly recommend you go with them.

What an amazing, adventure. Mark was such a great and knowledgeable tour guide. The Featherdale wildlife park was so fun...especially feeding the kangaroos! The Blue Mountains National Park was gorgeous. .Mark took us on a hike many tourists don't do. Breathtaking. And to top it off we did guess which Australian musician was on his Playlist. We did an all day Blue Mountains tour with Mark and had a great trip. We had 4 people in our group and one was over 80. Mark made sure we got to see all the sites and even took our older guest on a less strenuous hike while the younger folks went on a little more difficult trek. Our entire experience from booking until he dropped us back at our hotel was fantastic - highly recommended!

Four us were picked up from the house we were staying at in Sydney and were driven by Craig to the Blue Mountains. It was so convenient and a great day. The highlight was hiking for 2 hours around Wentworth Falls. It was a special, well maintained trail with stunning views. Craig was a great guide who was so nice, well-informed and engaging. Most importantly he took us exactly where we wanted to go and avoided the crowds… he even brought us to a secluded pub for lunch. We strongly recommend this tour and guide.

Luxury Blue Mountains small Group Tour with Mark I chose this tour with Sydney Adventure Tours on the recommendation by my sister Ann who had come last year and also the reviews. Our guide Mark was fun to be with, knowledgeable, entertaining, observant and caring for our safety. Our group totalled 5 and we all got along well. Our stops were great, his recommendations for restaurants were really good and his timing at each spot was great. We were very lucky weather wise as we were supposed to have rain but it held off until the very end of the day. On the way back to Sidney Mark played us music composed, written and sung by Australian singers and musicians. A lot of fun to hear them and learning about the artists. The Blue Mountains Sydney Adventure Tours is fantastic. Our guide, Stuart, was so knowledgeable and informative. We saw Wentworth Falls, several lookouts including Cahill and Boardhead. Although it was very cloudy and foggy, our guide was oh so patient and waited until the clouds lifted so we could get a view of the Three Sisters. Such an amazing Day. We loved this tour with Rebecca. She seemed flexible to our wants and desires for this private tour for the four of us. She shared information along the way and let us ask questions. We loved her local expertise on the Blue Mountains and Australia in general. We took the Blue Mountains day trip in January. Mark was a chatty and engaging tour guide who added to the experience. The main two stops on the tour included Featherdale Wildlife Center and Wentworth Falls. We then had a lunch stop in Leura village and the tour ended with a 20-minute stop at Echo Point and the Three Sisters. The 2-hour drive back to Sydney was fast due to Mark's fun and engaging music quiz. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Excellent tour, You will experience lots of different areas and sights. My husband and I did the Blue mountain tour. The Mercedes Sprinter was comfortable and spacious. The Featherdale wildlife park was a special experience. All the animals are so close and accessible. Feeding and petting was a great bonus. The hike to the waterfall was lovely. Our guide, Mark was very knowledgeable. Like having a botanist teaching us about the trees, plants and his own personal experiences. I would highly recommend this tour. Everything from beginning to the end was memorable and fun.

The perfect day in the Blue Mountains!!! This is the best tour to ACTUALLY see the national park. Our tour guide, Mark, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining, and led a well-timed tour. We stopped first at Featherdale Wildlife Park, where Mark guided us through the the first sections to the koalas, then we had some time on our own. He suggested we feed and pet the kangaroos first, and some animals we should see. Then onto a long, manageable hike to and around Wentworth Falls. Mark led us through, showing us some of the plants and places the aborigines used. Afterwards we went to Leura for lunch on our own; Echo Point to see The Three Sisters; and then another beautiful lookout. And we were back in Sydney for dinner. There were only 4 of us on this small group tour, but I think it goes up to 15 people tops. Don’t waste your time at Scenic World—the four-story garage park we passed was packed. See and enjoy the true beauty of the Blue Mountains and ask for Mark as your guide.

Australia Blue Mountain Adventure Great, fun with our guide Mark, exploring the Blue Mountains and some of he wildlife that lives there. Our day started with an on time pickup at our hotel in a very nice sprinter van. Our small group turned out to be two couples. We felt spoiled with lots of personal attention. Mark was incredibly knowledgeable sharing information about Australia , Sydney and the Blue Mountain region. Mark was a wealth of information and answered our non stop questions with ease. It was very obvious that he loves Australia and his job. Our schedule was dialed in perfectly and we never felt rushed. Mark gave us clear direction throughout the day helping us get everything in as well as answer our questions,. During the drives to and from Sydney, Mark gave us the fundamentals about Australia and how things have developed .

We took a private Blue Mountains tour with Ben and can only highly recommend it! Everything was perfectly organized from the start - transfer, timing, and communication went smoothly. Fantastic tour despite the weather.
Unfortunately we had rain and mist all day but Mark worked so hard to ensure we had a great day. He is so knowledgeable and entertaining, he more than made up for the miserable weather.
The wildlife park was great and again Mark’s knowledge of the animals added to the experience.
Throughout the drive and the stops Mark shared his extensive knowledge of facts about the country, the geography, the animals, the history and the culture. His passion for the country, the culture and the wildlife was infectious.
It was a shame that we couldn’t experience the Blue Mountains in all their glory due to the rain and mist but Mark ensured that we stopped to admire the views wherever there was a break in the cloud.
We spoke to other tourists who had taken the cheaper alternative to take the train to the Blue Mountains and they agreed that their experience was no where near as good as ours. I would highly recommend this tour and if you lucky enough to get Mark as your guide then you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience We had a city tour of Sydney with Craig and a Blue Mountain tour with Ben. Both were memorable and simply outstanding. They have a profound affection for their city that is contagious. Ben is full of fun facts about Australia and provided an in depth tour of the Blue Mountains. We learned about the flora, fauna and the history of the region. Both were punctual, knowledgeable and personable. They offered great recommendations for restaurants and for things to do in Sydney. Had a fantastic tour of the Blue Mountains with Mark! He is very knowledgeable and shared some great history on the tour. The stops along the way were perfect, Featherdale Wildlife Park was a neat way to see Australian animals. There is an opportuntiy to feed some of the animals. The bush walk was beautiful, and it was nice to get our legs moving for a bit of the trip! Mark had terrific recommendations for lunch.

The day trip was great! The view is just amazing. The trip plan was perfect for me. The waterfall walk was just the right amount of walking for my troubled knees. we started early to beat the crowds on a Saturday and I was so happy that I didn't have to see those cute animals with a lot of people. Laura village is a beautiful place to have some food and drinks and a little bit of rest. The afternoon walks are more relaxing and the view was still great.
Mark is a amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable about the city and the blue mountains and he's a nature lover so he knows a lot about the animals and plants too. Also he's a good driver which is what you need for sightseeing out of the city.

We had a fabulous day yesterday and the weather was super kind giving us the best views of this very special place. It was breathtaking. Mark our guide was super knowledgeable and obviously passionate about the flora fauna and the spirituality of this beautiful place. It was a good walk but the rewards were definitely worth it. Thank you very much Mark for a great day and the great music which made the journey back to Sydney a real blast! Can definitely recommend these guys for a great trip.

Overpriced for sight seeing Blue Mountains are beautiful but for the cost of this trip and "luxury" name you expect a bit more differentiation compared to the standard tours. Fair to say that we were visiting at the busiest period of the year and so it was very busy but hard to say this trip does anything different than the cheaper alternatives. We were taken to a very busy wildlife park and the busiest town nearby for lunch. Tour guide was friendly and competent but didn't really demonstrate much knowledge on the blue mountains and limited "guiding", just driving, pointing out good spots for pictures and making some jokes. Advanced warning for those wanting to hike: this trip visits the busiest sections of blue mountains mostly for a quick picture rather than true trekking/exploring. In total we walked 2km in an hour, otherwise trying to find a spot to see the view in crowds of other tour groups. We were also required to take a taxi to an hotel 30 minutes from our accommodation, even though the trip asks for your pick up address. They did compensate us in the end but it's just an additional faff which undermines the "luxury" claim. Overall this is a costly way to see blue mountains, it seems better to self guide and do a proper hike.read moreread less

This is an absolute must if you ever have the opportunity to visit this exquisite piece of Australia. Just gorgeous. Having the right guide will also make a world of difference. Amazing day trip to the Blue Mountains! What a great way to see Blue Mountains! Highly recommend this tour. No large groups, no waiting in line, and lots of fun facts! Mark was an amazing guide, full of knowledge about the Aussie culture and history. The tour does call for physical fitness since you are walking, hiking, and climbing stairs. Fantastic Day Out - Lovely Locally Owned Company Fantastic tour of the Blue Mountains. Our guide, Mark, was really knowledgable about the area and knew all of the quieter/less touristy spots with some great short walks, fantastic views & even the opportunity to feed wild cockatoos. The day included a nice amount of time at local wildlife park (which was worth $42 dollars in itself) & gave us the opportunity to feed some kangaroos & see some koalas up close. Our booking was honoured despite poor weather conditions which was hugely appreciated as we only had a short amount of time in Sydney - We thoroughly enjoyed our day & would highly recommend.read moreread less
