What a great class! I've meant to bake my own bread for so long and finally got around to pressing the start button. Anita is knowledgeable as she is enthusiastic, we learned a LOT and it was a fun day. There were lots of goodies to enjoy there, including a fabulous lunch, and lots to take home even. The class of 6 meant that we all got hands-on experience without being crowded. Looking forward to more!

We had a wonderful time learning to make bread with Anita. She was once knowledgeable, has a great friendly approach and she welcomed us into her beautiful home with open arms. I can’t wait to do a fine dining course under her tuition.

I recently did a bread making course with Anita, it was a lot of fun and very hands on. We learned a few different styles, and I have been madly making sourdough since! The lunch and environment was beautiful. Will definitely be back.

Hands down this is the best experience we have had in ages. The setting is fabulous, the hosts are welcoming and the food is to die for. It's great to be able to watch how a different cuisine comes to life. I'm envious that Anita can "whip up" something on a whim and it tastes so good. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Great class. Learnt alot about making different types of bread. Group was small, so made it easy to follow Anita. Everything was very hands on and we had an enormous lunch after all the baking. We also got to take home what we baked, a recipe book, a dough to bake at home and a sourdough starter. Would thoroughly encourage anyone wanting to learn to make bread to attend one of Anita's classes.

A few weeks ago I spent a number of hours being entertained and taught by the lovely Anita at Foodbuilder. There were three ladies in the class for the “Just Vegetarian” course. We had not met before but clicked immediately and enjoyed our time together. The class was held in Anita’s beautiful kitchen with an immense island, which we stood around for the class.
Anita had laid out all of the pre-measured ingredients for each of the 10 recipes we made together. We all had input into each of the different recipes. Anita had pre-made the Berry Sorbet because it had to be in a normal freezer for a few hours, but she also showed us how to make the Rosemary Sorbet using a mixer with an ice-cream making feature.
Anita supervised all of the creations and entertained us with some of her previous cooking adventures and travels.
A cup of coffee on arrival, refreshing cool water when needed and a glass of champers whilst we waited for our very own freshly made lunch to be plated and served with wine was wonderful. We even got to take home left-overs and a Rhubarb cake that we had each made.
My only negative, if you can call it that, was that I was imagining I would do a few more full recipes on my own, not a bit of all of the recipes. Nevertheless, I do feel I learned a lot from this class.
I would highly recommend giving Anita’s courses a try and enjoy the atmosphere of her lovely home.

I booked Anita to hold a bread making class for myself and my clients as something different and fun to do and for us all to come together in an informal way. Everyone had so much fun and I am so glad we did this. Anita is so personable and experienced and an amazing cook and teacher. We ended the class with some nibbles and wine and laughter. A great day. Would highly recommend.
