Your Scenic Mary Valley Adventure

Relax as you embark on a memorable 3-hour, 40km return journey aboard a beautifully restored C17 steam train. Departing from the historic Gympie Station, you will wind through rich agricultural farmlands and rolling hills right into the heart of the picturesque Mary Valley.

What to Expect on Your Journey

• Historic Amamoor Stopover: Disembark in the quaint town of Amamoor and head to the viewing area to watch the fascinating steam engine turn on the historic turntable. 🔄
• Explore the Village Green: Enjoy a short stay to wander through the charming Amamoor Village Green before reboarding your assigned carriage.
• Onboard Commentary: Learn about the region’s rich history and heritage trains with engaging commentary as you soak in the nostalgic atmosphere. 🌾

Important Journey Information

Please note this service offers classic bench seating. Depending on the direction of the train, guests will travel backwards for one direction of the trip.
