All experiences are subject to availability at the time of booking and minimum numbers being met, in the event that minimum numbers are not reached an alternative date or full refund will be offered. Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of departure, and no-shows will be charged 100% of the experience price. Travel insurance is highly recommended as holiday plans can be disrupted by cancelation of ferries. Please note that Travel Insurance may not cover disruptions caused by mechanical breakdowns or adverse weather conditions so please check your insurance policy.
As alcohol is served, all guests are required to be over 18 years of age. This experiences involves approximately 5 standard drinks – appropriate transportation should be arranged prior to taking part.

Unmissable experience!!! Have been wanting to go here since our last visit to KI in 2021. Finally got our chance today, and we were not disappointed!!! 3 of us had the liquer tasting flight, and all of them loved them. I started with a Sour Cherry cocktail, which was a total flavour sensation, and followed up with two raspberry and lemon cocktails. They were just as delicious, and after trying mine, two more of us ordered cocktails, and my mum ordered a cocktail. All were amazing. The food was tasty. The staff were absolutely fabulous, knowledgeable and great people too. This is an absolute must do for a visit to Kangaroo Island, do yourself a favour and spend some relaxing time enjoying the laid back vibe and excellent product at this gem of a place!!!!read moreread less

Amazing gins! What a delight, we booked the gin tasting experience and had the excellent Kylie run our session. We had a great session, she was informative and provided heaps of usefully tasting tips. The gins were delicious and blown away with the variety and depth of the range of gins (and was able to taste the cumquat liqueur too). We had so much fun doing the tasting paddles! AND the food truck that is set up 7days a week! From their core range with additions of their whisky gin and limited releases, to their liqueurs, we were not disappointed! And Jenny's food truck, the flat bread pizzas were delicious.

Great friendly service and nice tasting spirits. A really nice relaxing place to stop after a long day of sightseeing. Kids loved the mocktails and we enjoyed a spirit paddle and a cheeky cocktail. Add this place to you kangaroo Island to do list.

Shared a brilliant Friday afternoon and evening at K.I.S..
We had the pleasure of being taken through an amazing tasting and cocktail making experience by wonderful Ma including tour of distillery and garden.
This was followed by some live music and great pizzas till the sunset.
The whole team were fantastic hosts which ensured our visit to K.I.S. was a great start to a wonderful weekend on the Island.
A must do when visiting Kangaroo Island.

The O-gin is the winner - was a great infusion of the local flora, ask the front of house for a look and smell of this plant so you can find some when hiking the island. Great botanical garden. I rated the Old Tom as the 2nd best. I think if the weather is mild, ask for no ice so you can get the full flavours. We ordered one pallet with tonic and one with sparkling.

Perfect setting and gin to match. Being gin lovers we had to to visit this distillery and it did not disappoint. The setting is just beautiful providing plenty of shade, a food truck to ease those hungry bellies.
The gin tasting paddle is the way to go. Recommend trying it without the tonic first and then add once you have sipped each one.
Allow a couple of hours to enjoy the atmosphere.

What a splendid experience! We did 2 hours of Gin Blending experience class and every minute and cent spent was worth it! Our instructor- Ms. Mar gave us a good background of the distilling industry and the distilling process before diving into the ‘practical’! At the end, we left with a bottle of our own taste of blended gin!! May look a bit expensive but it’s 100% worth it! And yes, the bar, food joint and the garden were just a cherry on the cake! Thank you guys and keep up with the good work.

Gin flight $25 Hubby and I decided to share a 5-gin flight (as we had to drive and they equate to 1.6 standard drinks per flight), this was $25, with an optional 2 extra Gins for $5 each. Served in tasting glasses with ice, and a choice of tonic or mineral water, we really liked sampling the differences in flavours among all the gins.
We mostly liked the old-style gin ($134 per bottle) and mulberry gin ($99 per bottle) but we were glad we could taste them as the price per bottle was above our budget!
Lovely gardens, aromatics and botanicals grown on site with descriptions of how they’re used in the gins and a food truck if you’re peckish.
We were there maybe 15 minutes, certainly not something that will take up most of your day but worth stopping by.

Beautiful garden Beautiful garden which surrounds you. Lovely staff and lovely setting.Not sure if the tonic was the issue, but I actually didn't rate the gins as much as other boutique gins.

Loved it worth the visit We loved the gin tasting experience well worth doing . The staff member explained each gin and how the gin was made . It was very interesting and of course tasted great . Amazgin! This is an absolut must even if you are not that keep on Gin. Our gin guide Lisa was wonderful - very knowledgable and a pleasure to chat with. Don't just stop at the gin - their lemoncello is to die for! The gardens were lovely and even though it was cold, we indulged in the delicious flammekueches while sitting next to a warm brazier. We Had a mid morning premium gin and tonic flight with Lisa as our amazing pilot ! Her knowledge of the product and its History is out of this world ! You Can tell she is very passionate and proud of the glorious gins they bottle ! Very generous with her time and advice on places to visit on this magical island ! Great gin and spirits to choose from. The gin flight was super tasty. I also enjoyed the spirit flight they offered as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pizza was super tasty as well. The pizza is enough for one person. A couple should probably order two. Highly recommend visiting! Also they had a koala in the tree outside!

Simply brilliant Gin distillery. Good selection of Gins and liquors. The Flammekueche meals are fantastic. Service is magnificent, as are the staff. The renovated outdoor area is great to sample the drinks and meals. Expansive new distillery is a boom to this establishment.

KI Spirits What a fabulous place - we called in just for a look then stayed and had a gin tasting . I’m not much of a gin drinker but the mulberry gin was very nice , so much so we went back next day and had a cocktail ???? The outside area with tables and chairs and fire pits to keep us warm was very relaxing. The staff were friendly and remembered us when we returned the next day . Mixed tasting You can choose a $25 5 gin tasting or a $20 3 liqueur & 1 vodka tasting. Or you can just choose from their cocktail list.We had the liqueur & vodka flight and we’re not particularly impressed with any of the tastings. We did however enjoy the mulberry haze cocktail & the raspberry mocktail. Also the sidewinder chips were fantastic!

Top rated experience- highly recommend I am not a gin drinker but I went along with my husband for the experience as he likes gin and I walked out loving my gin creation. The staff absolutely made a great experience an exceptional one for us and ensured we had tons of fun. We had a great time and it would be something we will be suggesting as a must do to anyone we know coming to KI. The gardens were also great as you get to see what ingredients go into what you are making. 5 stars all the way for this experience!read moreread less

Amazing Experience The food, drinks and atmosphere were all breathtaking, but what really made our experience memorable was the staff. Our kids saw a gin flight and wanted one, so even though it's not on the menu, the staff created a tasting paddle for the kids with sodas, juices and mixers. They hand-wrote what they'd put together for the kids and took them through it as if they were adults. So much love went into it and the kids were so pleased. 10/10 would recommend.read moreread less

Worth a visit. You know, the place is lovely and the gin is alright. The gin is pre bottled in flavours, they pour the serving out and add fruit. The tasting was okay - average amount for the price. Food closes really early - so be aware of that. The staff are pretty friendly. The brewery around the corner just has a better vibe.

We shared a tasting paddle. They also have us a sample of their xmas gin that they had. Beautiful garden outside with information on the various plants used in the garden. I think the gin tasting experience could be improved if the ice was instead served in a seperate container rather than in each of the gins so it can be added as you move through the tasting and a garnish the complements each of the different styles of gin would also make this a 5 star experience.

Dragged my partner here . He isn’t a gin fan or liqueur fan. We had a short blast here though ????
Wonderful service , I really enjoyed the gin. The whiskey aged barrel Gin was my favourite and as it happens my partners was the Anisette . Which unfortunately we were told is being discontinued. We grabbed two bottles of this .
Definitely do yourself a favour and spend longer than we did here and have a feed also. Highly recommend

Attended the Gin Blending Masterclass and just wanted to say a massive thank you!! I learned so much and was able to further my appreciation for gin.

Venue, staff and service were all top notch, loved the spicy liqueur. Great garden to walk through with all the gin spices. Tasting paddle prices were reasonable and drinks prices seemed standard too. The bottle prices were very expensive for gins that tasted quite generic.

This place has amazing atmosphere, beautiful garden seating area. Their cocktails were amazing! The food truck outside serves amazing pizza, very thin and crispy base but so tasty! Definitely a must in KI. We went twice while in KI. Chip wedges was super nice and seasoned well.
