Admire the natural beauty of Manly Cove and its secluded beaches, on a gentle kayak paddle with an experienced local guide!

After a short safety briefing and paddling demonstration, we’ll paddle from Manly into the cove, visiting three beaches (some of which are only accessible by boat) and passing the historical Quarantine Station, alongside a wealth of other local landmarks, caves and waterfalls.

There’s a chance to stop for a swim, and our guide will provide snacks and coffee/juice.

Parking can be tricky in Manly. Please leave sufficient time if driving to find a spot. 

Important Information

Scheduling: Please arrive in sufficient time to change and be ready for the start of the scheduled session time ~ 15 minutes before.

Waiver: Each participant will be required to complete a waiver before participating in a course/experience. This can be done online or at the office.

Location: You will start from Manly Sailing. Our office is located on the wharf level underneath Manly Yacht Club. When in Manly, facing the Manly Ferry Wharf, turn left and follow the path around past East Esplanade beach until it ends. A short 10 minute walk.

Footwear: You will be getting wet feet as we stop off at different beaches. Please wear footwear you don’t mind getting wet or alternatively go barefoot. We will also provide you with a dry bag that you can put your shoes in and take with you on the kayak.

Hat: A secure hat that can be tied on is recommended. 

Clothing: You may get a little wet – so a change of clothes is advisable.

PFD (Personal Floatation Device): we supply PFD’s for all participants. Anyone declining to wear their PFD will not be allowed to participate.

Sun cream: Participants should bring and use sun cream, preferably Zinc or at least factor 30+. 

Dry clothes: Participants will get wet during the session so a set of dry clothes and towel for afterwards is advised. An old shopping bag is recommended to carry wet gear in.
