Our family shared in an adventure on the amazing Brindabella.
It absolutely exceeded our expectations.
The owners were a part of the whole journey, looking after everything and this is certainly something very special. There was nothing to fault over our two nights and we feel so very lucky to have had an opportunity to understand and experience sailing on the Brindabella. A huge thank you.

The boat is beautiful and so well maintained, the crew was very easy going and knowledgeable, they made us feel very welcome and safe, food was delicious!
Best part was just sitting on one edge of the boat 3m above the sea with splashes of water everywhere 😀
I am definitely coming back!

If you're after an unforgettable, high-end sailing adventure, look no further than a day aboard the iconic Brindabella, affectionately known as the 'People's Maxi.' With a rich history of dominating the Sydney to Hobart race in the 1990s, this magnificent 80ft Maxi Yacht is now here in South Australia, offering an extraordinary experience that’s second to none. Yesterday’s sail was nothing short of spectacular, and I can’t recommend it enough.
From the moment we stepped onboard, the professionalism and passion of the crew were evident. Skipper Adam, with a lifetime of sailing experience, made us feel completely at ease as we cruised along the stunning coastline from Outer Harbor to Brighton. The views were simply breathtaking—ones you could only experience from the deck of such an extraordinary vessel. Brigid and Johnny, the owner-operators, are true sailing enthusiasts, and their personal touch elevated the entire journey. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, from the seamless top-ups of our drinks to the beautifully prepared platters that kept us satisfied throughout the day.
The opportunity to take the helm and feel the power of the Brindabella beneath me was a once-in-a-lifetime thrill. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just love the ocean, this experience is a perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and history. South Australia’s coastline has never looked so good, and other states have every reason to be envious!
A truly exclusive sailing experience that I’ll be booking again without hesitation. If you’re looking to create lasting memories on the water, this is absolutely a must-do.
If you're looking for a unique weekend activity in Adelaide, look no further. Brindabella Sailing offers an unforgettable experience that combines the energy of the ocean with the excitement of sailing and the enjoyment of delicious bubbles.
Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike. It's a fantastic way to appreciate Adelaide's stunning coastline from a different perspective and create lasting memories. The combination of coastal sailing and tasty refreshments makes for an excellent outing. Can't wait to sail with them again for another memorable experience!

It was absolutely FANTASTIC Brigid Johnny and crew are amazing not to mention the beautiful food and wine
Thank you Adam for letting me take the wheel Absolute BUCKET LIST experience ✔️✔️✔️🥂
Memories I will always treasure
Will definitely be joining Brindabella again hopefully for a much longer duration

The day was stunningly beautiful, marked by impeccable organisation and exceptional catering that offered a remarkable gastronomic experience.
My wife, a vegetarian, was so impressed with the food that she suggested Bridgette, one of our hosts, should consider opening a restaurant.
I mentioned to Johnny, another host, that the experience was already five-star and playfully remarked that beanbags on the deck would make it six-star. Remarkably, beanbags appeared shortly after, adding a perfect touch.
The tour was sensational and entirely flawless.

AHOY!! Sven and Klaus

An awesome 2 day trip onboard Brindabella sailing across the gulf to Yorke Peninsula. On day one we tacked into the wind, heeling the boat to its max. Spotted a dolphin or two on the way out, and were spoilt with onboard cuisine (definitely no shortage of food on this trip!). We anchored near Troubridge Island for the evening where some of us slept on deck and enjoyed the starry night. Squeezed in a walk on the island and some paddle boarding in the shallows. With the spinnaker up we sailed back along the fleurieu taking advantage of the south westerlies, watching the sails while sipping a few drinks.
The whole experience was unforgettable, sailing on an ex Sydney-to-Hobart winning yacht. Many thanks to the Brindabella crew Brigid, Johnny, Adam and Mike. We were well fed and hydrated for the entire journey. Hospitality second to none. They even taught us some basics on sailing.
Highly recommend overnight sail on the Brindabella.
