I Also got 10% discount at the tavern on the Marina and the steak was meal was delicious
We were lucky enough to have the Humpies and Dolphins close enough .
Heidi also offered some little bookmarks and stickers and a shout out to the bday boy on the cruise .
Safe and experienced farers.
Superb experience!
There was a payment glitch as they charge extra on credit card but wouldn’t show that during payment. It’s ok and not that they could do anything it seems.
All in all, beautiful experience!!
The staff were awesome, the commentary was educational and the boat was comfortable.
Thanks for a great trip.
Their display was quite exciting and majestic to say the least. The crew kept us all informed of the whale's distinct behaviours. It was excellent!!!
Staff were friendly and constantly on the lookout for whales. There was a marine biologist on board who shared her knowledge about whales.
However, do take note that as expected, the waves will be choppy and this is no fault of the company. So the boat will definitely be rocky to a certain extent but this is expected since we’re out in the open ocean chasing whales. Some tips which helped me include staying in the outdoor deck, looking far into the horizon and avoid being on your phone. Simply soak up the warmth of the sun, feel the winds of the ocean and enjoy the company of the crew and fellow passengers :)
I’m in a wheelchair so was a bit concerned about how it would go. But Deanna was fabulous in communicating with me beforehand and helping sort out the best cruise for me and my husband to take.
And the crew on board were fantastic too, making sure I knew when a whale had been spotted and which side of the boat it was best to be on. Even turning the boat to give me a chance to be fully involved in the whale spotting! Thank you all!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE. We all loved it.
We saw literally dozens of humpback whales, from large adults through to new seasons calves. The young ones in particular put on a real show for use, broaching, tail slapping and spy hopping.
I was very pleased to see the crew keeping the boat close enough for passengers to get a good view of the whales but at no time were the whales harassed in any way.
An exceptional day.
The crew were knowledgeable, though sometimes it was difficult to hear them over the noise of the engine.
The staff were very friendly, professional and informative. We’re very grateful to have seen a few Humpback whales and a cheeky seal. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity!
We will definitely be back again next time we’re in WA. 🐋
We highly recommend booking these guys for an unforgettable day of whale watching.
We arrived 10mins before our 8am tour to a full boat with other passengers including staff Aidan, Lockie (and I can't remember the name of the other staff member). To be honest we were surprised the tour wasn't cancelled because the weather on this day was terrible from the start. It was cold, windy and rainy at parts. We would have appreciated being given the option (either prior to the day or on arrival) to book an alternative date, but we werent given any other option but to show up and continue the tour.
We set off for Carnac Island as planned and as you can imagine, the boat ride was extremely cold and windy (our mistake for not bringing a jumper), and as it was such a full boat there was nowhere to sit so we had to balance as best we could while standing. At one stage my husband and I were standing near the front of the boat as there was a table we could lean against for balance. We were told (a bit impatiently) by Aidan to move to the back to sit down (because we were blocking the entry to the front room and had to keep moving out of the way). This was understandable, however with such a full boat of people all the seats were taken and there was nowhere to sit or lean on for support. So we moved to the back and balanced as best we could while standing.
On arrival at Carnac Island the waters were extremely choppy and murky. We reluctantly jumped in for a snorkel but the group only went into the water once (my husband and I were in the water for a total of around 20mins) because it was just too murky and choppy to see anything. It was really disappointing and not the enjoyable experience we had been hoping for.
The tour ended up coming back to Fremantle a bit earlier than scheduled (likely due to the dangerous water conditions).
All in all, it was not the enjoyable experience we had hoped and paid for. We had heard such great feedback from friends who had been to the island previously, I have no doubt it would have been amazing in better weather conditions so we were really disappointed that this tour went ahead and we weren't given the opportunity to reschedule for an alternative day.
The trip over and back was very comfortable and we had lots of time snorkeling in the water. Highly recommend
Had some issues with booking online kept saying incorrect phone number. So I called and booked with the skipper Paul. Was an easy process!
We went with three kids 1 6 and 7. All had a great time.
Staff where very accomodating and friendly.
Skipper Paul was great, very informative and went out of his way to welcome, talk and fairwell everyone.
Highly recommended and knew their whales!
