Best Day Out! We had the most amazing day! Blue Mountains Biking Adventures were easy to deal with, extremely helpful and informative of everything we wanted to see and do, they were super friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend this adventure to anyone wanting to get back to nature and explore the mountains.

Blue Mountains biking Fab day biking all the best sites of the Blue Mountains. Sam was an organised guide who gave great info on the area. Tracks were easy to follow using the pins Sam sent and a great day biking was had by all!

Great experience with Blue Mountain Bike Hoee High recommend. Sam was very helpful in helping me decide which bike to use and which route was good for me. Went on the Narrowneck, a long ridge line fire track which has great views across the Blue Mountains. Needed some pedal assist on some of the steep inclines so had a good work out as well. Very easy to deal with. Will be back again sometime soon.

Amazing Day! Great experience! Sam was super informative and helpful. Would definitely recommend! Was such a cool way to explore the blue mountains

A great off-road biking experience for beginners We used Blue Mountain Biking Adventures for the Burumoco/Hanging Rock bike ride from Blackheath. Sam was great; punctual, good with communication, knowledgeable about the area and mountain biking in general. The bikes were in great condition and worked well. Sam spent time setting them up for us and his tips for riding safely and with enjoyment were fantastic. He was also flexible with alternatives when our original chosen riding time didn't work. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

What a ride! What a ride! Sam is absolutely amazing - from matching riders to bikes to making sure they are safe on the trails, he does everything possible to help! If I could give you 10,000 stars, I would!

Our group booked a self-guided e-bike adventure with Sam, and the girls absolutely loved it. We only wished we'd booked the e-bikes for longer!

Sam is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and has an infectious enthusiasm and adventurous spirit that made the experience even more enjoyable.

Highly recommend this to anyone who's up for a biking tour!

Hopefully we'll bump into you on the slopes somewhere in the world, Sam!

Great family trip in June This trip was easy to book and Sam was responsive. Instructions were clear. Turns out the trip I booked wasn’t quite what I wanted - Sam suggested an alternative and we went with that and it was a great choice. E-bikes were excellent - no issues. Sam met us at the start and at the end and was really friendly and helpful. Trail was great - even on a pretty cold misty day, the scenery was gorgeous.

Seamless experience and a beautiful ride Sam was awesome to deal with, very knowledgeable and responsive. Bikes were easy to operate and it was a gorgeous ride! We’ll definitely go again

SO MUCH FUN! I booked the Blue Mountian Biking Adventures E-bike Mountain Biking Self Guided Tour.
We had 25 of our senior leaders plus myself participate.
It was fantastic with the whole group raving about what a great experience it was. Being on E-Bikes was next level fun.
Sam is fabulous to deal with making the whole process easy and organised.
Would highly recommend even for people who have never mountain biked before.
Loads of fun! We'll be back.

Great service Well taken care of bikes, very knowledgeable and helpful owner. Sam gave us lots of tips as visitors to the Blue Mountains. We had a nice ride to the Hanging Rock

My family of 4 hired e-MTBs from Sam today and rode out to Mount Hay lookout and back. It was probably just the right amount of both distance and challenge (some more capable member of the group might disagree!). A very efficient experience, we didn't meet Sam but I felt extremely well briefed and he has a great system for picking up and dropping the bikes back. Sam also called me the evening before and sent an email with all the info, including very useful videos, map pins etc etc. All in all highly recommend Sam and his business, we would definitely use Blue Mountains Biking Adventures again.

Most amazing experience we will never forget I had an absolutely incredible experience with Blue Mountains Biking Company—easily one of the highlights of my trip.

What really made it stand out was Sam. From the very beginning, he took the time to properly train us before we set off, making sure we understood how everything worked and felt completely comfortable on the bikes. He explained things clearly, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone felt confident, even if they weren’t experienced riders. That personal attention made a huge difference and set the tone for the whole experience.

The ride itself was breathtaking. Exploring the Blue Mountains at our own pace, surrounded by amazing scenery and fresh air, was something I’ll never forget. The bikes were in great condition, and everything felt smooth and well thought out.

It was the perfect mix of adventure and ease—exciting but never overwhelming, with plenty of chances to stop, take in the views, and enjoy the moment.

I can’t recommend this experience enough. If you’re thinking about doing it, definitely go for it—Sam will make sure you have an amazing time.

Had an awesome experience with the mountain bike hire! Sam was incredibly informative and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for a great trip. We took on Narrowneck, those hills definitely make you work for it, but the views are absolutely worth it. The bikes were in great condition and handled the terrain perfectly. Overall, an amazing day out and highly recommend!

Sam was very informative and knew his bikes. First time riding an E bike and felt very comfortable after our introduction to the bikes. The trail was awesome with great views of the mountains. Highly recommend Sam and will return to do a harder trail to really test my new learnt skills. Until next time. 😄

Great time. Love it. Amazing ride, bike was perfect, many thx :)

Bakketun Great day! Great service! We Will return next year.

Great morning ride out Sam was excellent.. friendly informative and spent time with us explaining not only where’s best around the local area but also how to set up and ride an E-bike for
Maximum comfort and safety..
the ride itself was easy to navigate but had enough downhills to make it interesting.
Views from hanging rock breathtaking.
Thoroughly recommend to anyone who isn’t very experienced off road cycling

We had a great time exploring the Narrow Neck track. Wonderful views over valleys and mountains. The e-bikes were essential. Sam provided all the advice we needed. His explanatory videos gave us some tips for us experienced riders.
The ride was a memory to cherish. Thanks, Sam !

Fabulous ride wonderful views Fabulous ride with amazing views- we all really enjoyed it. Sam was very enthusiastic and very thorough about everything- we were grateful for all his tips and advice

a great experience A great experience: clear explanations, easy to handle mountain bikes, a breathtaking landscape with beautiful summer weather! Thanks to Sam! I recommend this outing.

Family ride in the blue Moutains Unfortunately we didn't meet up in person with the owner. That would have made the experience perfect. Beautiful environment to get wild on an e-bike!

We loved our e-bike adventure with Blue Mountains Biking Adventures. I did the self-guided Narrow Neck trail in Katoomba with my husband and 2 sons (12 and 13) which took us 3 hours. It’s not a trail we would have thought to do on our own. Sam was fab to deal with, offering great tips and info on where to go and how to ride safely, and the bikes were in perfect condition. The trail itself was such a beautiful, unique experience. We felt like we were right in the depths of the beauty of the Blue Mountains. Such a wild and fun adventure and memory-maker for our fam!

Lovely day in Blackheath We, a family of four, had a great day on e`bikes organised by Blue Mountains Biking Adventures. The service was super. We got bikes even though the shop was closed on the 25th when we wanted to go cycling. The bikes were super e`bikes, and we got equipment to use in case we had problems with the tires. Sam gave us several tips to different trails, and we used GoogleMaps to follow them. We had a wonderful day cycling in the Blackheath area.

Great ride to Hanging Rock Sam was amazing, gave all the details we needed for the bikes & gave some hidden gems when we got to the location. The bikes worked flawlessly. Sam was friendly & accommodating. We made some great memories.

We had a great time with Sam, riding to hanging rock on e-bikes. His communication was super clear, explaining safety and itinerary on the bikes. The equipment was in perfect condition and the walk at the destination was amazing. Thanks Sam!

Great service, fully recommend Did a beginner friendly tour to the hanging rock with my girlfriend, who never rode a Mountainbike before.
The service was excellent from getting all the required information to having all the gear explained. The tour was a bit short for my taste and could probably have been done on gravel bikes, but that might just be because it's a beginner's tour. I would recommend to regular cyclists to go for something more adventurous.

The owner (Sam) is a great guy who was very cheerful and gave us great advice on other things to do around the blue mountain area but also around NSW.

Fun ride right next to Katoomba Owner accomodated me last minute, had a great time on Narrowneck trail! The intro videos are comprehensive and have good tips for beginners.

We had a great 3 days biking.
- The E-bikes were really, good.
- Pick up and drop off was easy at the Motel.
- Good communication with Sam.
- He also provided advice and map pins for the routes he recommended.
- Amazing destinations and incredible views - away from the crowds.
- Also essential to watch the videos he provides links for - good riding tips and info re how the bikes work etc.

This tour turned out way better than I expected. What could’ve been a boring Blue Mountains trip ended up being super memorable thanks to this unique experience.

Since we ride e-bikes pretty often, we chose the Narrowneck. It wasn’t easy, but it was a lot of fun, and next time we definitely want to try the Grand Canyon route that Sam recommended.

Sam’s bike isn’t just a regular e-bike— it’s a tuned, mountain-specific one that’s super easy to handle but still built like a pro bike. So basically, anyone can ride it safely and feel like an expert.

Highly recommended !👍

Highly recommended! Great day out with super professional guides who looked after an array of MTB capabilities across the attendees. Just a really good operation who know what they do and do it very well... We will be back to take on some of the other recommended trails.

We had an excellent experience with Sam and Blue Mountains Biking Adventures. My 14-years-old son and I were initially planning to do Mt Hay but that was not available on the date planned. Sam went above and beyond and gave us a few options. We picked his most recommended one: Narrow Neck Trail. We got two impeccable e-mountain bikes for the day. Sam’s briefing and video tutorials were super helpful and we had the best time. I can’t recommend Sam and Blue Mountains Biking Adventures enough. It’s a very cool business operating in one of the the most iconic parks in NSW and Australia. I’m looking forward to our next adventure before the peak Summer months.

Perfect way to spend a morning Amazing morning cycle to Hanging Rock. Sam changed his plans to accommodate our timings and itinerary. In addition, Sam spent time making suggestions for less touristy spots to visit in the Blue Mountains. Equipment was first rate as was the safety briefing.

We had a terrific day of cycling, thanks to Sam. We rented some e-mountain bikes and did a couple of the trails out of Blackheath on our own. Pick up was easy and straightforward. The views were amazing. And the e-bikes made the climbs a breeze. Sam was really helpful in suggesting places to go, and letting us know what to expect. Definitely worth doing if you have a day free in the Blue Mountains.

A great day out. Excellent day out, highly recommend. Sam was a friendly and knowledgeable host, who certainly taught me a new approach to cycling.
The bikes, trails and scenery were all great.
Would definitely do this again.

Hi Sam,

Thank you so much for renting us the mountain bikes. We had such a wonderful day exploring the trails — it was truly an unforgettable experience, unlike anything we’ve ever done before. Riding through the beautiful Australian landscapes gave us a sense of freedom and adventure that we’ll never forget.

When I shared photos and videos with my friends back in Taiwan, they were amazed and said how much they envied us. Many of them even promised themselves that one day they must come to Australia and try mountain biking too.

We’re really grateful for your warm help and for giving us this opportunity. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

Best regards,
Jacob, Eric and Kobe who join the adventure on Aug 31

Had a wonderful time taking the e-bikes up to narrow neck. With minimal mountain biking experience we were between this ride and the more relaxed ride to mount hay, but ultimately decided we were up for the challenge. We were very happy with our decision, as we saw few people on our ride and managed to get up the many steep inclines without any issues. Highlights were the views, solitude, and some really fun descents. We are both pretty active so something to consider if you are beginner and trying to decide.

Picking up and returning the bikes was very easy and customer service throughout was top notch.

Temperature was around 15'C which was wonderful. Wore light pants and a puffer that came off after a couple inclines.

One of the best corporate activities we've done. One of the best corporate activities I have done. Sam was brilliant. Learned how to ride a bike – correctly. Great exercise and simply breath taking scenery. Highly recommend.

Top day biking in the Blue Mountains Sam was really helpful kitting us out and suggesting trails that we could combine to maximise our day and bike usage. The bikes are great pieces of kit. Neither of us had ridden an electric bike before and we both loved it.
We started with Mount Hay then took the train two stops with the bikes to Blackheath and saw Hanging Rock. Absolutely breathtaking!!
Returning the bikes is easy and Sam has thought of everything to make the experience fantastic - GPS maps, guidance and advice, bike locks and train timetables. Carol at the hotel collection/return point was super lovely and helpful too.

Thank you Blue Mountains Biking Adventures for the perfect day out. My husband and I decided on the Intermediate Self-Guided Narrowneck trail and hired two e-mountain bikes. Instructions for bike pick up (local hotel) and drop off were clear and we made it out to the trail easily.
The bikes are in great condition with multiple gears and it's pedal assisted e-bike. Gloves and helmets were also in great condition.
We stopped for lunch at the end of the plateau and the views along the whole trail were spectacular. We recommend definitely having some off road cycling experience before commencing, intermediate is an accurate description (we've ridden bikes our whole life, but not recently).
Come prepared, you are in a national park with no phone service. (First aid kit, water, food, sunscreen, sunnies etc).

Thank you for an epic day out! Can't wait to come back.

Fantastic experience with Blue Mountains Biking Adventures! Sam did a great job contacting us beforehand, reassuring us that the trails would be perfect even after a couple of days of heavy rain (he was right), and providing us detailed instruction on our trail and how to use our e-bikes. The Hanging Rock is a hidden gem that we could enjoy on our time with no crowds whatsoever. An excellent day trip from Sydney!

Sam is the man! What sets this bike ride apart from the rest is the range & quality of the gear plus the owner Sam. If you follow his videos and advice you will have a great time. Sam will always be my 1st and only choice for a Blue Mountains adventure. Remember that 5 star small business operators deserve 5 star customers.

The whole process of renting is simple and fuss-free. Sam was helpful and easily contactable. I love the fact that while we paid for a particular trail, we could also go visit other places when we were done. It was a great experience for us on ebikes and seeing the beauty of Blue Mountains.

Great experience I rented bikes from Blue Mountains Biking Adventures and had an amazing experience! The bikes were in excellent condition, and Sam was super friendly and attentive. He helped me choose the best trails based on what I was looking for.

Everything was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to explore the Blue Mountains on two wheels!

Fantastic E-bike Experience The whole process of renting is simple and fuss-free. Sam was helpful and easily contactable. I love the fact that while we paid for a particular trail, we could also go visit other places when we were done. It was a great experience for us on e-bikes and seeing the beauty of Blue Mountains.

Above and beyond! Sam is the man! We were in town for work on a weekend. We accidentally booked the wrong day and Sam worked with us day-of to organize a fantastic day for a ride! He went completely above and beyond and helped create an experience we will never forget!

The Narrow Neck trail was long and fun, on an absolutely perfect day! We already are convinced that when we come back, we want to do this exact same ride. The views were incredible and the e-bikes were great!!

I highly recommend Sam’s mountain bike tour to everyone who visits the Blue Mountains! This not only saves your energy to the very best view of the hanging rock, but the riding itself is a lot of fun. The E-bike gives you a boost and riding uphill is much easier. Sam was also super helpful, and we’ve learned a lot about cycling safety. Thanks you!

Sam gave us clear and reassuring explanations to have a good ride. E-bikes are in great condition, and the tour Sam suggested to us is called Hanging Rock, it's beautiful and very accessible, even for the most beginners (with e-bikes). Thank you, Blue Mountains Biking Adventure

Overall a great experience The tour was the perfect length and challenge for someone like me who hasn't ridden off-road for a while. My adult son is a much more experienced rider who likes technical features, but he still appreciated Sam's tips and enjoyed himself. The views were fantastic and worth the effort. Sam is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about trail riding. The bikes and gear were clean and beautifully maintained. Watch his video tips for better riding!

Had a wonderful experience with Blue Mountains Biking Adventure, booked a self guided ride to Hanging Rock, Sam was amazing in regard to knowledge of the Blue Mountains area and helpful information on how to enjoy our ride and get the most out of our experience. Would highly recommend this small business, and will certainly be booking with Sam again when we’re next in the Blue Mountains.

Self-guided biking tour Great touring idea to get around the trails of the Blue Mountains. Sam made the rental process very easy and the self-guided tour option was also very easy to navigate. Managed 3 locations in around 6hrs. Simple and central pick up and drop off point. Definitely recommend and will do again!

We hired e bikes for 2 separate trips. Both trips involved a bit of road work with the majority of the ride being on tracks - both leading to fabulous views. Sam was extremely helpful and instructions were clear and concise, with easy to follow routes. Would definitely use again.
Thank you Sam for your help and advice - we had 2 super rides

Excellent day out with great trails and epic views This was a brilliant experience start to finish. All the key info up front. Great engagement from Sam. Excellent bike and kit in a convenient location. And then an epic day’s riding, including Mount Hay, Hanging Rock and Govett’s Leap. The trails are great and the views are breathtaking.

Bike riding heaven Great time and top notch service from Sam! 😎 highly recommend this tour through the beautiful blue mountains- lots of fun.

Action packed fun! This was the second time my son and I have booked with Sam at BMBA. Had a great ride with spectacular views over Mount Hay. The fire trail was manageable for a confident rider using an e-mtb. Thanks Sam for another action packed day!

Exploring the quiet lookouts by bike Couple travelling from the Uk. Sam the boss man was brilliant, great communication from the start and he even suggested a campsite for us to use in the area. Bikes were great, better range than the ones we have at home. Suggested trails for us to use in the area. Easy collection and drop off.

Blue Mountains Biking Adventure and Sam, is a fantastic tour operation - nothing was a trouble for them. We booked last minute and they certainly went out of their way to accommodate us.

All aspects exceeded expectations - from the quality and maintenance of their bikes, to the information they provided, all was better than we hoped for!

The Blue Mountains is beautiful place to visit and the e-bike option, along with Sam's suggested itinerary, allows you to access some of the best sights and away from the more popular areas.

I highly recommend BMBA and Sam, the owner. Brilliant !!
