David and the girls behind the bar were incredible and stunning!
We did the wine tasting David was so knowledgeable and brought so much to the table!
The ladies at the bar were so so friendly and chatty! And made us feel so at home and welcomed.
ITS A MUST STOP WINERY
Well done Darcey and Lucy xxxx

Love their Chardonnay — smooth, crisp, and full of character. Absolutely worth taking a bottle home (or two). 🍇✨
AUD 15 wine tasting fee can be refunded when you purchase at least 2 bottles😍
Special shoutout to Marie, whose warmth and knowledge made the whole visit even more memorable. Her service was genuine and welcoming — the kind of hospitality that sticks with you.
Cloudy day? Yes.
Cloudy mood? Not a chance.
Would definitely come back!
We were genuinely impressed by the wines. The Blanc de Blancs was a standout for me – earthy, refined, and so easy to enjoy. Hubby also loved the Pinot Noir, which had great depth and character, and the Gewürztraminer, which was aromatic, fresh, and just a little bit different in the best way.
The staff were lovely – friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to guide us through the tastings without any rush. It felt personal and unpretentious, which we really appreciated.
Highly recommend making a stop here if you’re in the region. Gorgeous wine, even better views, and a truly memorable experience!
Just stunning scenery to while away a few hours and enjoy a few nibbles.
Some exciting and different varieties of wines to try.
Definitely worth a visit!

Joined up as members and bought 14 wines.
All 3 of absolutely loved the Gewurztraminer amongst others. 10/10

The location at Nepenthe is so tranquil and peaceful a perfect way to spend time in the Adelaide Hills.
Will definitely be back to Nepenthe Winesin the future ❤️

Choose from various wine tasting options, presented by knowledgeable and accommodating staff.
Don't miss their delicious platters to enhance your visit. It's the perfect spot for wine lovers and relaxation in the Adelaide Hills.
I’m not sure how the tasting room works but seems a great experience to book the room.

Add it to your list of must do cellar doors. It certainly exceeded our expectations.

There are much better wineries to visit in the region, including Shaw + Smith which is directly across the road.
Fabulous location, good value and choice of wines to choose from were great - well done ????????
The reason for really bad score is more for the response to me giving this feedback in person. I expressed my disappointment with the long duration to which the lady (only one with out a name tag) said they were two staff short and tables had bookings. No apology just an attitude and an excuse. When we walked in Natalie asked if they would accommodate walk ins to which the person with the poor attitude replied with sure. They did not set the expectation of being short staffed or to expect a delay for the tasting.
The lady also said at 4:50pm we had to finish our tasting and make a purchase as their liquor license only covers them till 5pm. At this time we were still waiting for our final glass for tasting as David was serving other tables. So we felt very rushed considering we were not late arrivals (arrived at 3:30pm).
If they are short staffed and cannot provide a quality service they should have turned us away.

Wide range of great tasting wines.
Tasting platter was perhaps a little expensive for the amount on there but a few extra drinks and you soon forget.
Sit inside or outside with plenty of room to soak in the sun and let your eyes wander over the hills.
We did a tasting and had a platter to have with our tasting. Delicious!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and one in particular gave us so much information about the history of the wine and the winery. It was just an incredible experience. Couldn't fault it.
Shout out to Imogen, she was full of knowledge and was super friendly and fun!
We will definitely be back!

Ashlee was very knowledgable, friendly and welcoming.
Pay a visit.

The wines were absolutely awesome, scenery unmatched, but the game changer was the service:
Ashley was not only bubbly and fun to talk but was actually passionate about her job and this you cannot buy it.
The price as fair and the degustation cost 10$ p/p discounted from the price of the wine if you will buy them.
Other wineries charge 20$ each! Not discounted!
