Wood oven pizza was awesome, beers even better. Staff were great, and super friendly. 100% if we're back travelling in the area we will be back (mostly for the sold out stout). Thanks for the awesome afternoon, especially with the shocking weather.

Celebrated my 50th Birthday with a group of approx 30 people. On arrival our tables were ready to go, no wait. The pre ordered pizzas and chips came out promptly and were of a very high standard. Hot, fresh and delish! All my guests enjoyed them. Nice cozy winter venue with open fire. I’m not a beer drinker so can’t come t on beers but I had a cider which I enjoyed. I can’t deny it the highlight for me was Kent the beautiful resident Samoyed! He is lovely, friendly and cruses around the brewery very happy with himself. I’ll be back for more cuddles

What a find! We recently had a pleasure of visiting Smiling Samoyed Brewery and it was really good experience! We loved the atmosphere - so welcoming, relaxed. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. Beer was very good and pizza was incredible! It's a must visit for any beer lover or anyone looking for a grate time out!

South Australia. Come and enjoy the beer and delicious food here. It's pizza or fried chicken or salad but the taste here is completely different.

We stumbled on the Smiling Samoyed Brewery while doing the Myponga Reservoir Reserve walk and what a gem of a spare of the moment discovery. We enjoyed some tasting paddles of beer brewed on site and 2 x fresh wood fired oven pizzas and enjoyed the company of the resident smiling samoyed dog. We had an absolute blast. Shame we had to drive back, I'm not sure what time we would have left lol. Quirky, lovingly run by the owners and a sheer joy to behold.

Love it here, always a favourite of mine. Wether with friends, family or a day alone.

Stopped over on an unplanned visit to support local in these tough times, glad we did. The brewery is right next to the myponga reserve. The resident samoyed was very friendly, the Tandoori chicken pizza was pretty good too and the decor inside was good too with 90's alternate rock playing. Dog friendly spot, Dogs are allowed in the inside dining area too.

Had the samoyed chicken wings and chilli chirozo pizza and it was amazing! Lovely and cozy atmosphere too.

Roll in for a Pizza after a walk in Park Having completed a walk in the nearby national park we headed to the Brewery for a lunchtime meal consisting of delicious pizza and chips with dips all washed down with the excellent home brew. Would recommend to everyone.

Pizza and wedges were absolutely amazing! Buffalo wings were good too (though we’ve had better ones elsewhere).

Awesome spot for families after kangaroo watching at the reservoir We love this place and don't get there anywhere near enough. We love to take our family and go for a walk in the beautiful Myponga Reservoir Reserve where we love seeing the resident group of kangaroos (and sometimes we are lucky enough to see some joeys!) Also a great spot for riding bikes. Then we head over to the brewery for pizza and beer. My husband is a bit of a craft beer snob but always finds some excellent beers on tap, particularly the stout. IPAs are always good to. The wood fired pizzas are gorgeous and we love that they cater for kids with drawing activities and the great playground. We love seeing Hoppy the resident Samoyed and that it's a pet friendly place to bring your friendly dogs. They often have musicians on the weekends and we have seen some great local acts. Highly recommend as somewhere to bring visitors to SA or just to take your family.

Visited here with the family for lunch on Australia Day. We ordered the Brewery Board, wedges and a salami/olive pizza along with some drinks. Steady stream of customers but not as busy as when we last visited.

The Good:
- Wedges were a great size and particularly well presented.
- Drinks were generous and modestly priced.

The Bad:
- Chap at the bar cut me off as I was ordering and seemed impatient and annoyed. He was, however, a lot more attentive to younger customers. Go figure.
- All food brought out EXCEPT the pizza. We waited almost an hour for that, by which time the rest of our meal was already eaten leaving my youngest lad to scarf it down quickly before our 90minute booking was over. I had to ask a waitress where it was and was told by her a while later that it would be out in 8 minutes.

Orders get forgotten; I get that. But just say so. Don't just dismiss it. We watched as others ordering after us, received their pizzas.

Might seem trivial, and I don't want to be the grumpy, old man here, but when you're charging 15% surcharge, I'd like to get my entire order delivered in one go.

PS. We missed the dogs :^)

Always love coming here. Lots of room to spread out, with views of the Myponga Reservoir if you sit outdoors. The beers are all fantastic, and the wood fire pizza is also really good. Bartenders are friendly and helpful. If you're lucky, you might even get greeted by Hoppy and Kent, the resident Samoyeds.

We've been hanging out to try here after seeing pictures on instagram, and it did not disappoint. Delicious food & craft beers and their speciality hot chocolate is AMAZING!. The staff were so nice & helpful. We even purchased a fluffy stubby holder, dog treats and t-shirt on our way out. Do yourself a favour and give it a go!

Fantastic location, great service, food and drinks in a relaxed setting. Apart from the magnificent setting with views of the Myponga Reservoir, a glorious day, and great company everything about our visit for lunch yesterday was fantastic! Great food, bar and service staff friendly and provided A+ attention to detail and fun. Thank you to Dahlin particularly, who provided humor, along with great service. Trip up to the Reservoir lookout, followed by a short walk among the kangaroos completed the day. Again, we will be back.

The Smiling Samoyed is a very popular place, with exceptionally friendly service, nice food (seasoning on the wedges was delicious!), and great beer (brewed on site). Unfortunately, I had trouble with the online booking, and emailed a week or so before, but never received a reply. We were coming on our way from the other side of Adelaide, so eventually booked for a later lunch at 2 pm. It was great that not only are dogs welcome, they have a 'doggo' section on the Booking Sheet.

When we finally got there, there was a long wait on pizzas, and had run out of bread for the beer platter. The beer tasting was well explained, but when I ordered a mixed 6 pack to take away, I received my least favourite of the beers (which I have began to like anyway). The atmosphere is great, and views of the Myponga Reservoir are great.

Good range of beers with many types to choose from. I had an English Malt type.
Beers range is various alcoholic strengths- so be careful if you’re driving!
Lots of seating spots too- balcony out the back overlooking the reservoir is my favourite, but the also have a beer garden/ courtyard, inside seating and spots out the front too.

Absolutely Incredible Venue, service, Beer and food. The "Ginger" Chef nailed everything that we had, particularly the dessert Pizzas. The food all came out in Incredible time and it was Perfect!
The "Asian" Bar tender was incredibly friendly and Super attentive throughout our visit. He could not do enough to make our visit as comfortable as possible, including catering for Children. Honestly could not recommend this place highly enough, we will certainly be regular visitors in future. ???? p.s. highly recommend the feed me menu for groups, you will not leave Hungry

I brought a women's kayaking tour group here yesterday for lunch and we were so well looked after! Welcome drink upon arrival (with non-alcoholic beer also available!), plenty of varied starters, and delicious wood oven pizzas that even catered to my gluten free and vegetarian guests. I'll be bringing back more groups soon!

When we arrived at the Smiling Samoyed Brewery, we were unsure if they were open, but our day took a delightful turn thanks to the kind-hearted worker who allowed us in early for a much-needed coffee. As we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by Karl, the most adorable and friendly Samoyed, whose presence truly embodied the brewery's name. It all made sense now!

The staff member who served us was not only lovely but also made our visit all the more enjoyable. We left with smiles on our faces, grateful for the unexpected experience at the Smiling Samoyed Brewery. It's a place we won't soon forget, thanks to the warm atmosphere and Karl's charming company.

An amazing fun venue. i organised a mates bucks celebration there to start. Easy to organise. Seated us straight away beers on arrival. Lots of nibbles and the pizza were great. Had great vegan food for the two vegan the group. No one left hungry and let us stay celebrating and drinking after the food was done. And all the staff were fantastic.

Must Stop A brilliant place to stop for a beer/lunch/drink/coffee. A great menu with special attention on gluten free options for coeliacs. Please book first so you won't be disappointed. The beers are very good boutique brews. The food is quality at a reasonable price in a unique setting. Opposite is a great walk along the reservoir for a good way to work off the extra calories. A must stop on the peninsula.

Waiter staff welcoming, had read booking notes and already had waiting a stool for my leg in Moonboot, so appreciated. Food, beer, wine and great views were excellent. Staff service was friendly and helpful all day. Only comment for next time would be a bit more time between platter and pizzas. Thanks, we’ll be back!!

And then there was a bathroom toilets which looked like You typical campsite toilets old and horrible toilets. The staff member even though she a very low knowledge. Vice, especially when she was discussing. How she knew how to make barista coffee, but had a couple of courses here and there, but wasn't very good at it blah, blah blah. To other customers who were ordering coffee and their pizza came out have burnt. I am not surprised. It seems to me that they Don't make the pizza bases But still charge exorbitant prices for a terrible pizza. Avoid unless wanting a beer.

Had a wonderful time at Similing Samoyed Brewery in Myponga. We booked a table for 11.30am, while the kitchen opens at 12noon, we enjoyed some great beers and coffee and plenty of snuggles with Kent (the Samoyed). The curly wedges were a hit! Perfectly seasoned and generous portion too. The pizza crusts were thin but not too thin. The flavours were good and the toppings were decent. Highly recommend a visit.

A tasting paddle has all four core plus a choice from the about a dozen seasonal brews. I liked the Hop Bandit IPA.

First of all, the samoyed is so adorable and friendly. This place has variety of beers to choose, good foods (pizza, wedges,..), amazing view and decoration.
Best for family and kids, also pet friendly.
I recommend having a walk at the Myponga Reservoir near by also.

Great craft brewery This fantastic little craft brewery is certainly off the beaten track but is well worth the effort for visit. Great selection of freshly brewed beers both on tap and bottled for take away. The two pale ales on offer are great and hope they can be found in Sydney.

My husband asked for 3 cappacinos and was told that they were not serving them because they were busy, we could get them down the road at another cafe. We wanted a hot drink as the day was cold and our table was close to the door. They are listed on their menu. Our grandchildren aged 2, 4, and 6 could not have a chino or baby chino either so had to have a hot chocolate at $12.00 a pop which they did not drink fully. The food was average 3 pizzas some chips and onion rings. Eldest daughter wanted to try the take home MILK choc samoyed so my husband purchased 2 thinking I would like one also. Not long before we were leaving one of the dogs did a pee on someones coat that was hanging on the back of the chair. Told the person sitting at the table and also one of the staff who went and got a mop and wiped the floor. Our MILK choc samoyed happened to be DARK chocolate and was very bitter. I am sorry but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. We wont be back.

Great start to our holiday Called in for lunch and every dish was so tasty. Then we had the Samoyed hot chocolate wow it was amazing and even got 2 chocolate spoons to take away! Well done! A must to come here and you get a lovely Samoyed welcome and pat too!

Fleurieu food festival Visited Sunday just gone and really enjoyed the experience. Quality food and exceptional value for money. Our host was attentive and took the time to explain all the elements of the package. The live music performer Rhys was excellent. Best of all we could bring our dogs along too. Worth the drive, we’d definitely do this again, thanks for having us.

Venue overlooks the now open reservoir and the markets next door great place to stop and kick back for a while a must on the to do list

Definitely stop in! Greeted at the door by two smiling samoyeds! Of course! Arrived at the beginning of lunch, so initially quiet but soon picked up. Welcoming staff, warm fire and a good lunch menu! Vegetarian pizza was truly excellent!

Put Myponga on the bucket list! We sidetracked off the main drag 24klms to go here. Well worth the effort. Wish we had come for lunch as the place is eclectic, and marvellous. The Samoyed dogs greet you (though more friendly to those offering tidbits!), and service was great as were the beers. A must do if you are in the area
