Wow. This was truly one of the best experiences of my life. The moment you step off the bus into the tour site, you're welcomed by 1000s of stars, the Milky Way, and the silhouette of Uluru. The guides are unbelievably knowledgable, and so friendly!!! Prepare to learn so much about the night sky!

We originally booked for Saturday but due to heavy cloud coverage, the tour couldn't go ahead that night. The team kept us in the loop about the ever-changing weather and we managed to go the next day - there was no way we were missing this!

It really doesn't matter if you're interested in astronomy or not, this tour is an absolute must - thank you!!

Really amazing tour to do in Uluru! I don’t think there’s a better place on earth to stargaze than the Australian outback. Our guide Lucy was friendly and knowledgeable as she talked through the stars and showed us different planets and stars through the telescope. The professional photos taken were really high quality and helped commemorate the experience.

I loved this tour! It is a must when visiting Uluru. The best place to see the starry skies of the southern hemisphere, so dark and so clear. The guide was so sweet and very knowledgable about the stars. There was a telescope, so we could get a closer look at some cool stars and planets. I was lucky that there was a comet in the sky. It was a fabulous experience.

Breathtaking view of the stars I absolutely loved it! The guide was very knowledgable about the starry sky. I was lucky that a comet was in the sky and we got to see the moonrise. Telescopes were availiable to see the rings around Saturn and some other cool stuff. It was really amazing. The best place to see the starry skies, so dark and so clear.

Amazing star gazing trip This was one of the best trips we did at Uluru. Lucy and the team were well organised and incredibly informative, with a well structured program of star gazing, telescope viewing and photos. The star photos were brilliant and a real bonus! I would recommend this trip to everyone!

Unmissable experience Unmissable experience - the sky was magical and the guides extremely informative. I had seen the Southern constellations before but never as clear. The opportunity to view nebulae and stars up close through their telescopes was fantastic. The ability to have an amazing photo with the Milky Way and the dark emu (at no extra cost) made for even better memories. Hats off to photographer Cullem and the guides!

A Perfect Evening under the Stars There is no better place than the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to view the night sky. Coming from the city it was amazing to see the sky with such clarity and filled with an abundance of stars. Our guide, Dylan, was enthusiastic and informative and enriched our understanding of Anangu culture through his explanations of how they relate movements in the stars to life around them. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Central Australia.

Best star gazing The experience was amazing. Never had such a perfect environment to see the stars and the milky way with naked eyes. The tour guide was also amazing - she explained the stories of the stars of the indigenous people which was truely interesting. She also demonstrated how the indigenous people used the stars as the compass to find directions which we also used to find direction of sunrise/set. Overall best experience ever it is a must go

10/10 experience! A must do while you are here. Never have I seen that many stars so visibly with my eyes. Lyndsey, Neil and Colin made the experience very enjoyable. My partner and I, especially loved Lyndsey’s energy and how knowledgeable she was.

I’m so glad we booked this tour. Our kids loved it, as did we! I’ve never seen a night sky like it. Saw my first shooting star (and then 5 more!). All the guides were wonderful but the highlight for us was the star talk by Dylan which weaved Aboriginal understandings of the night sky with astronomy. Thank you for sharing - it was fantastic and a privilege to experience.

Truly one of the best tour experiences we've had. Superb friendly and knowledgeable tour guides with majestic milky way and beautiful sky what else we could've wanted. Lindsey and Steven were so knowledgeable we learned a lot from Lindsey stories and guides about the sky. Collin was also very patient with the photography and had an awesome set up. Overall a night to remember.

Under the milky way tonight Amazing to see the stars come to life away from city lights! Hard to believe that our night skies are blanketed with such beauty and we can rarely see it. Learning how the stars tell stories and seeing the full moon rise over Ulluru was an experience to remember. Highly recommend this tour!

Stargazing at the Rock This was a great experience at Uluru, such a different thing to do and the night sky is absolutely incredible in the Outback. I would highly recommend this for all as something different to do while visiting. My kids got such a huge kick out of it, they loved it, asking lots of great questions of our guide.

Sa good we went twice! So good, went two times! The first night we enjoyed the learnings and talks of the stars and their meanings to the indigenous community. The second night we went purely for an astrophotography timelapse and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great crew, reliable and excellent communication.

Great experience at Uluru by Night I really appreciated the fact I was at Uluru at Night. I really enjoyed the presentation, learnt things I didn't know. Also getting a photo taken after the presentation was an added bonus.

There are so many other tours around Uluru, but this one must have been one of the most outstanding. This is the only tour that can take you into the national park after its closure time in the dark. It's felt so privileged to be with Uluru in the dark night. All of the staff are extremely professional. You can really learn so many things about the universe. It does make you wonder! There is no drink or food provided in this tour, however, this is by no means a downside! For 3 hours you will be very focused on the night sky, the stars and the cosmos and of course stunning photos taken by professionals. In the end, you would not want to leave.

My suggestion is wearing warm clothes (they do provide blanket though, nice) and having a full dinner and not drinking too much before joining the tour, coz no toilet for 3 hrs.

Mesmerizing Astro Tour The tour was absolutely amazing! We had an awesome time stargazing and listening to the talks by Lindsay. Colin produced some of the most spectacular photographs I've ever seen! Lindsay, Haley and Colin were a great team. Would 100% recommend as a must do whilst in Uluru!!!

Uluṟu Astro Tour (Mandarin) The tour was amazing and the night sky was so beautiful. We joined the Mandarin tour and the staff was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate in astronomy and was so enthusiastic in sharing a lot of Astro information with us. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about the night sky and the wonders of the universe.

My husband and I loved this tour. Stargazing was not something we had planned on doing, but when we met Stephen at the visitor center in Uluru and talked to him for a while, we decided to give it a try. We loved the experience! It was magical to be in the National Park at night and explore the star-filled sky in the backdrop of the sacred rock. Stephen shared his genuine passion for stargazing and we were thrilled to get personal, nighttime photos of us in front of Uluru rock. We also enjoyed looking through two telescopes aimed at various celestial objects. Highly recommend! But dress warmly!

I can't recommend this tour enough. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and eager to share what she knew with us. She had answers for all of our questions and a keen interest in the topic. (Apologies I have forgotten her name, the tour was 13/02/24)

Great mix of theory and practice with stories/facts about the moons, planets, stars, galaxies and the milky way, as well as getting to see all of these with the binoculars and then with the telescopes for a closer look.

Not to mention the view of the sky, it was incredible and next level compared to anything I've ever seen. Photo's on your phone could never do it justice.. good thing you get a professional photo included in your tour cost to capture the view.

Worth every dollar, go for it!

If someone told me that my most memorable and cherished moment of my bucket list trip to Uluru will be a stargazing tour I wouldn’t believe it but it was truly magical. From the moment I was picked up by an ultra luxury bus I had a feeling this will be special but I could not even anticipate what was coming. After a short drive we stopped at a parking lot near Uluru where the team was waiting with lanterns & guiding lights, telescopes set up, chairs for everyone and a MIND-BLOWING sky where you could see galaxies and shooting stars right above the outline of Uluru with a naked eye. Truly special! We sat down and the tour guide Ola with her suiting voice told us stories while we stared at the beautiful night sky. Then we had a chance to see Jupiter through the telescope and finally each of us got a professional picture that alone was worth every penny! The whole crew including Reina, Dan and the manager Steven were incredibly knowledgeable, nice, passionate about astrology and made the experience unforgettable. Definitely goes into my top 3 tours. Must do!

Starry starry night! Amazing opportunity to see the stars. The team were very knowledgeable and friendly. Olina was a wonderful host. It’s a wonderful experience when the team are passionate about what they do.

I feel like people in the reviews are confusing this one with the 60-minute Astro tour that you book on the Ayers Rock Resort website. This is not the same thing! This one is about two hours long, and they take you out to the bus sunset viewing area inside the park. You learn about different constellations and their significance to Aboriginal groups. You also get a cool photo taken with long exposure so you can see Uluru and the incredible night sky in the background. And you get to observe a few different objects through the telescope, like Saturn and Jupiter. It was really worth it and I had a lovely time out there. Thanks Olina for sharing your knowledge!

We recently did the tour with Joe and it was incredible! Joe was such a brilliant tour guide, and the highlight was a close up telescope view of Saturn. Highly recommend!!

Never book this tour with Ayers rock resort ! indeed better stay on your room's balcony at the hotel that will be the same . Actually you will only be taken 5 minutes behind the hotel full of light pollution next to a parking place ! we were SO disappointed. i have done this tour a few years ago with another company and that was an hour from the resort in middle of the desert honestly it was completely magical compared to this « nothing » tour... Please do not look at the pictures on the ayers rock resort website you its all a lie …

Astro Amazing! Wow! Seeing the rings of Saturn through the telescope was amazing! So clear. I also enjoyed the many cultural stories that relate to the cosmos. Egyptian, Mayan and particularly indigenous Australian as I had always wanted to learn more about these. Joseph, the main speaker, delivered a professional and astute account of the night sky. Very impressive. I would contemplate an Astronomy degree after this presentation. I won't spoil the stories by relating them here. There appears to be some outer lying drone (not the drone display) and light activity from the resort that could possibly be reduced to enhance the experience. Overall superb! However Joseph came and walked us a few hundred yards
to the designated viewing point . It’s on the edge of the township.
We were fortunate to have a clear starry evening. Chairs were provided
And Joseph began his narrative. He was interesting and well informed
and had a powerful laser light to direct us to the stars/planets that were visible.
We later had a chance to see some stars / planets thru the telescope.
It was interesting but had hoped to see more and there might have been more
Telescopes. We were fortunate that we were just two couples and their daughter.

Night under the stars Good trip out to see the stars. Weather & Moon dependant. We had quite a bright moon so lees stars visible. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides

Very irresponsible company: on today's tour (glass of wine at sunset at Uluru), a chinese was flying her drone in an area where it is forbidden (the whole Uluru park is forbidden for drone flying), and the guide did not say a word... Lets respect the rules everybody to make things easier. Other than that, experience was short (very short - arrival 18:25, departure 18:55).

The Milky Way in all it's Glory! It was amazing! To experience a night sky like this is something magical. The guide was extraordinary and we have incredible photos that they take that you get to keep.

An absolute highlight of our trip to Uluru. This experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Uluru.

The bus was on time and clean, the guide was interesting and helpful. We had a small group of about 15 so we were very lucky to have plenty of viewing and question time. We took small kids with us (4yo) and they were very accomodating opening the bus early when they fell asleep on us. The talk was interesting and pitched at the right knowledge level for us (not the kids but that's okay we knew that when booking), and the scenery very inspiring. It felt very special to be allowed in the park at night and to see the outline of Uluru against the stars.

The Milky Way wasn't positioned above Uluru's shadow like the advertising photos show which I was a bit disappointed by, but if the earth isn't in the right spot, they can't help that! The kids were also tired and grumpy so the photo was pretty poor as we weren't able to stay still to get a clear shot so it turned out blurry.

All in all, I would definitely recommend and will do it again on future visits.

Friendly people but not value for money. The bus was on time. The staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the professional photo was of poor quality. The two telescopes required re-focusing and needed greater magnification to make anything out clearly. The queues to look in the telescopes or be photographed were long and difficult for anyone with a mobility issue. We recommend that the astro tour does not go ahead on nights of the full moon as it was so bright that it was difficult to make out the stars. The talk given was simplistic and not very interesting for anyone who had any knowledge of astronomy.

Bad experience Be careful in the darkness, the staff didn’t perform their duty of care well. Be extremely cautious when walking in the darkness they don’t have enough staff and knowledge to protect and guide you!!!

A happy and wonderful trip The trip was well planned and the activities were interesting. I chose a four-day and three-night itinerary for this trip. For this trip, I chose Uluru viewing, hiking in the Kings Canyon, sunrise and sunset viewing, stargazing and camel riding.

The highlight of my trip to Uluru/Kata Tjuta The absolute highlight of this tour and my trip to Uluru/Kata Tjuta was being able to venture into the national park after dark and having a photograph taken under the milky way. I was also provided with a collection of photos of the night sky and stars (at no extra charge on top of the tour cost). I was also able to set up my camera and tripod to try my hand at capturing photos of the stars over Uluru. I was really happy with my results.

I was picked up from my accommodation in a coach and taken out to the Uluru sunset viewing area with a large group of tourists. Once there, we were split into English-speaking and Chinese-speaking guests, with the tour company providing guides in both languages. They had chairs set up for us and also provided blankets. Our star guide, Gordon, was incredibly knowledgable in astronomy and Aboriginal sky legends. There were two telescopes set up so we could have a close up look at Saturn and other points of interest in the night sky.

Special shout out to Rachel, our driver, who was lovely and kept everything running smoothly. At the end of the tour we were ferried back to our hotels by coach.

I really recommend this tour to anyone interested in astronomy, astrophotography and also to those who want a special night-time experience at Uluru. During my visit (in mid-September) the park closed at 7.30pm and so this was the only opportunity I had to take astrophotos. For me this trip was definitely good value and will always be a highlight of my time at Uluru.

Wow Wow Wow, Under the Night Sky. This was the Tour of our trip.
First off our bus driver Steven had a beautiful banter and personality. He briefed us well and transported us to blast off zone into another Galaxy.

From the clarity of the night sky to the knowledge of our Star Guide (Gordon) the night is one that will stay in our memories of Uluru for a million light years.

Gordon may be young but his professionalism, humor and knowledge took him into the stratosphere of presenters in his field.

Pink Star! Amazing crisp clear view of the southern hemisphere night sky! This was a special treat for me, living in North America. Our guides were funny, smart, and extremely knowledgeable. This was a very high quality presentation that made astronomy accessible and relevant. We observed stars in both western and aboriginal contexts, looked through a telescope at Saturn with its rings, and even saw a pink star!

Excellent experience! We were wowed at the first view - A full sky of dazzling stars without any light pollution. Milky way right above us. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of stories both locally and globally. My teenager wouldn't stop talking about it for days. Highly recommend!

highly recommend I would really recommend Atrip Pty Ltd. We would normally not join a tour group but are very glad we did. Steven was vey knowledgable and we were taken to so many places that we would never have seen on our own. He gave us a good understanding of Aboriginal cultrue and spirituality as well as showing us so many amazing geological sights. He is also an excellent photographer and we have many sovenir photos from our visit to ULURU and the surrounding area. It was great to hear the tour in Chinese so we could fully understand it.

Great Tour, special night access to Uluru! What a great tour! It was very interesting and informative to learn about various constellations, planets, and stars in the night sky during the star talk. It was very cool to learn about constellations in Aboriginal culture as well. We got to see a few objects in the telescope, and have our photos taken with Uluru and the night sky in the background. There is also time to take your own photos if you are a photographer. Very special to be the only tour that offers access to the National park at night!! I would definitely recommend, (if you’re deciding between this tour and the one in Ayer’s Rock resort, do this one ). Our guides Rachel and Gordon were great as well.

A stunning and awe-inspiring tour of the night sky at Uluru! Wondrous, stunning, informative! Thank you so much, Steve and Gordon for taking us on an amazing experience of Uluru and the Milky Way. I had never seen the Southern night sky before, and had never seen the Milky Way in such glory. Also I spotted 5 shooting stars during the tour!

The three parts of the experience included: 1) Stargazing (specific planets and constellations including Aboriginal constellations), 2) Star Talk (including basic astronomy concepts and Aboriginal ways of seeing, using, and interpreting the night sky), and 3) Photographs of participants with Uluru and the Milky Way in the background!

Truly a highlight of my time in Australia. Highly recommend!!

Stars of the Show What an amazing tour! So informative and I have NEVER seen so many stars. Gordon was fabulous (and funny) and Steven kept us entertained on the bus. We even happily posed for the photo that we vowed and declared it we weren’t interested in. By Uluru standards, it was good value for money, and the star of the show was, of course, the millions of stars. Hard to fault this tour.

Go with Uluru Astro Tours!

I would highly recommend avoiding the Astro tour through Ayers Rock Resort. It was very short just one hour and in the resort where light pollution prevented you from seeing the full Milky Way. With my stargazing lust completely unsatisfied I rebooked through a Uluru Astro tour the next night. I would highly suggest going with Uluru Astro tours which offered a three hour tour, right in the heart of Uluru park and with professional photography. You would miss this if you book through Ayer’s Rock.

Mind blowing experience, finally got to see the Milky Way with my naked. It was such a surreal moment and to do this in front of Uluru is just magical. This was by far the best tour and experience at Uluru.

Perfect Night of Stargazing It was a perfectly dark, dry and cold night. Guide was excellent with astronomical and cultural explanation of the stars and constellations. Milky Way was the highlight. Little disappointed with the telescope view of galaxies and planets. A$ 6000 telescope was not any better than my amateur scope. Bending and staining to view through the tiny eye piece was not I expected from a professional tour.
