A big shout out to all those who co-ordinated this and joined us on the tour. Brisbane is my home town for 50+ years and it was great to continue to learn things new and remind us of the not too distant past. It gives me goosebumps to be reminded what is around us and in plain sight but not noticed. There is plenty out there as you start to see. Artist & cultural experience A deeply connected and informative tour. Was such a beautiful way to experience history through the lens of art. If you are visiting so called Australia it’s so important that you visit and learn about First Nations people and their cultural connection and impact. This tour is the reminder of they resistance and stories

An authentic understanding of Brisbane's indigenous heritage. The Black Card 90min Cultural Walk in Brisbane was enlightening and engaging. The guide was very knowledgeable & shared stories of Indigenous history, artwork and cultural insights. I've lived in Brisbane for over 30 years and found I was discovering sites, artwork & history that I knew nothing about. A truly memorable introduction to the city's oldest memories. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic understanding of Brisbane's indigenous heritage and suitable for any athletic ability.

Expert stories opened my eyes A rainy day was turned into a magical day by our guide. Stories of artworks were interwoven with stories of Aboriginal culture. I came to know more about my home city of Brisbane in our 90 minutes than I had learned in many years. I highly recommend this tour and tour company for locals and visitors.

History Under Our Noses My knowledge about the aboriginal heritage in Brisbane was minimal, so we took the opportunity to take the tour and increase our cultural awareness.

The tour was insightful and thought provoking, especially as it contains a lot of modern history. I know need to get a bit deeper so will purchase the Dark Emu book by Bruce Pascoe when I get a chance.

Would higher recommend the tour.

Truth telling, bridge building cultural awareness I attended BlackCard's Brisbane walking tour yesterday and have no hesitation recommending BlackCard experiences to others.

Our group had Mundanara as a guide, Director, Co-Founder and workshop facilitator of a 100% Aboriginal-owned business that operates without government funding.

I have personal connections and professional interactions with Australia's First Nations, and was still surprised how much I learned. I was completely impressed with Mundanara's truth-telling, personal story, entrepreneurial vision and drive, and of the connections she built with participants.

If you're in Brissie for a few days, add this to your list. I'm signing up for their GOMA tour and bringing family.

I had a blast. It was a wonderful experience. I always walk past those statues that we've been through, and I never understood the significance. This cultural walk made me appreciate everything better. All the stories behind it. Cassy was wonderful and so informative. I had a blast.

A real eye-opened to our local Aboriginal history Such an amazing way to learn about our local history. I couldn't recommend this tour enough. Cassy was a great host and made our whole group feel really comfortable to ask questions. If you have an interested in Brisbane's Aboriginal history, this is a tour you cannot miss.

I give 5 stars Cassy is a wonderful person full of knowledge of her indigenous inheritance. Story telling was wonderful to learned and what it meant for those indigenous people.

First Nations Story of Brisbane River A great insight into Brisbane's history and public art pieces from a first nation's perspective. Close your eyes and your guide will help to imagine the river and landscape before the city became what it is today. For a Brisbane native there were many new stories to learn.

Something we should all do Thanks to Cassie and the Team at Black Card for putting on a great experience. I've lived here for 10 years and haven't noticed half of what Cassie pointed out in a couple of short hours. Our history is heavy, but it is something we should all make the time to learn more about. Thanks for the deadly tour Cassie.

An Important Cultural Experience Thank you for sharing all the stories and art - I went away with a much deeper appreciation of places I've walked through many times before!

Amazing learning experience I learned so much about Brisbane and how the experiences of First Nations Australians has been captured in the fabric of the city. There are things that I would not have even thought to look at that hold so much meaning and history and it was incredible to have them pointed out and their historical context explained. Our guide Cassy was generous with sharing the history of her culture and her family and answered all of our questions patiently. I learned so much on this tour, it was a great way to connect to the city and the long history of the people who have lived in this area and throughout Queensland.

A cultural journey Such a fantastic tour! I booked this for a work event - there were around 30 of us. Cassy was wonderful and gave us so much information about the history of the area and quite a lot that even the local's didn't know. It was eye opening and informative and all in all, a really great tour. I would highly recommend if visiting Brisbane even for the day and a great tour to book as a group as I did.
