Hi adventurers,

We look forward to your Lake Pedder trip. Please read all the important information below:

Please read our https://tassiebound.com.au/faq/

See you at the pre-arranged pick-up point and please note the departure times are our scheduled LEAVING times. Please allow plenty of travel time and aim to arrive at pick up point at least 15 minutes prior to departure in the hotel foyer of the Pedder Wilderness Lodge reception.

Before you attend please check the weather here and dress for the forecasted conditions. Everyone feels the heat and cold differently so we will leave how you dress up to you however there is some ideas below.

http://www.bom.gov.au/tas/forecasts/strathgordon.shtml

All your mandatory safety equipment is provided, therefore, all you need to bring with you are some personal items to help make your day even more enjoyable. We recommend you dress warmly (we recommend wearing active wear or hiking pants or similar quick dry clothing), sunglasses, a cap or hat, towel, a pair of enclosed runners or sandals to wear on the lake (they will get a little wet!), and a warm waterproof jacket. We will provide extra light waterproof and windproof jackets as well as all safety and kayaking equipment. We also we recommend a change of clothes for touring after if you’re staying at the lodge you do not need to bring with you and swimmers if it is a warm day and you would like to take a dip in Pedder’s warm water.  We care about the environment and do not offer single use plastic water bottles. We  encourage guests to bring their own reusable bottles and bring these full to the tour.

Guides take complimentary photos of your trip and provide at the completion your tour via a Facebook link.  Please do not bring anything of value with you on your tour.  Mobile phones and jewelry should be left in your vehicle and/or back at the lodge and your car keys can be stored in our van which will be waiting for you at the end of your trip.  Be aware the lake goddesses can be very hungry for shiny objects!

Safe travels to the Derwent Valley and please to not hesitate to call us on 0417 008 422 if you have any further questions.

Warm regards,

Fiona and Liam Weaver
