This exclusive Noosa surf lesson adventure takes you away from the surfing crowds by 4X4 along Teewah Beach and is ideal for all levels and ages from 7 years up. Our thrilling surf lessons from Noosa to Double Island Point is only accessible by 4X4 vehicles through the Great Sandy National Park. Join us on a unique beach 4X4 surf lesson adventure from Noosa North Shore, along the spectacular Teewah Beach to Double Island Point.

This incredible National Park surf location features a pristine headland and a long sandy point break with waves that seem to go forever and one of the easiest most satisfying waves you can ever experience a surf lesson on. We often have complete beginners riding waves for 100’s of meters long on their first learn to surf lesson. This makes for a highly rewarding experience and makes progression much faster as the time you have on the waves are much longer than many other surf school locations.

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring what you would usually bring to the beach e.g: towel, sunscreen, water, camera, change of clothes, some extra food.

(It is a requirement that all food, littler and any other waste are taken with you out of the National Park on completion of your visit)

ITINERARY (5-6 HOURS):
  • Depart Noosa in specialised 4X4 vehicles from pick up points.
  • Travel via Tewantin cable ferry to Noosa North Shore and onto Teewah Beach.
  • Experience a unique surf adventure with beach 4X4 to a remote & pristine National Park surf wave.
  • Spot whales on migration close to shore and other wildlife on the drive.
  • Arrive at a National Park surfing paradise – Double Island Point.
  • Home to Australia’s longest waves.
  • Equipment set up and safety/instruction briefing on the beach.
  •  Surf lesson instruction by fully qualified, friendly surf instructors.

DEPARTURES:

This tour departs Noosa, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast from one of the 3 main pick up points below.

On booking please select closest pick up from your accommodation, if driving from outside Noosa The J Theatre is best option with plenty of free parking. 

If you need to change the pick up location on your booking later that is ok please be mindful you must contact us at least 24 hours prior to the tour’s departure to change this. Please meet 10-15 minutes before departure at your pick up point.

TIMES:

Departure times from Noosa vary daily and are set around the low tide to access Double Island Point along Teewah beach and for best surf conditions. Please simply select date to see specific daily departure times as each day can be different. Please allow 6 hours from pick up to drop off.

Thank you for your Epic Ocean Adventure booking. We are looking forward to giving you an experience you won’t forget. 

Please bring swimwear, sunscreen, a large water bottle, towel, some extra dry/warm clothes as this experience is approximately 6 hours. 

Important: Please make sure you are at your pick-up location 15 minutes prior to the departure time! Because we operate depending on the ocean tides, we cannot wait for latecomers.

We provide a light snack and water on tour but feel free to bring along your own snacks or something more filling.

The departure time in this email is the estimated departure time for your EPIC tour. Please note that we confirm the departure time with you 5 days before departure. We decide the departure time based on the best kayak, surf and wildlife conditions as well as the tide to access the pristine National Park along the beach. 

On some rare occasions, we have to adjust the departure time the day before your tour due to weather or beach conditions. If this happens, we will contact you the day before your tour.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel tours right up to departure time if in the rare event we deem changes in weather become too severe to run the tour safely. Tour Departure Times: Departure times vary daily as a result of tide times to access Double Island Point along the Great Beach Drive. The departure time on this email is an estimated departure time. We will send you an email 5 days prior to departure to confirm your departure time. As our tours operate in a changing natural environment, Epic Ocean Adventures cannot guarantee a desired perfect wave quality and/or conditions and will always select the most suitable and safest location to operate on a daily basis. *Guarantee stand up on your first surf lesson or your next surf lesson free –Under conditions that the participant is active in the full length of the surf lesson & fully complies with the instruction & safety procedures from Epic Ocean Adventures instructors.
