Highly recommend!

It’s amazing the places that you don’t usually go to, or see, in your own city.
Christine was our informative and cheerful guide. We were able to visit places that we had never been, or had overlooked in the past.
We were so pleased that we took the opportunity to do this walk as the architecture of the Victorian times is truly remarkable and the food was delicious.
The stand out was Big Esso by Mabu Mabu. It was a restaurant that we’ve been meaning to go to for ages and haven’t, so that was a big plus, as was finishing the tour with gelato in Degraves Street.
Thank you Christine and Foodie Trails for showing us something new in our own city.

Not one complaint! Himanshi did a great job reading her audience and she kept us all engaged from beginning to end. Her restaurant/food choices and knowledge of Melbourne’s best was top notch!
I can’t recommend Foodie Trails enough!
The trail was a wonderful amalgamation of food with melbournes cultural heritage, highlighting some iconic structures and the history behind it!
The restraunts picked out in this trail held true to their authenticity and told a story with the delicate balance of flavours and their origin! Our foodie guide Christine gave a lot of importance to the comfort of her guests curating an experience suited to a finer palate.
Having not been very adventurous with food myself it was an absolute delight to have made this trip with other fellow foodies!
This is a wonderful way to experience the city and I would love to explore more :)

Thank you Himanshi, Kim and the foodie team.

Other suggestion - unless walking right beside Janet, it was very difficult to hear, so I'm afraid we missed alot. Had 6 in the group. Wonder if microphones are not allowed?

This time we went a Flemington foodie trail and boy oh boy, we learnt so much, enlightened with so many unknown facts about this place and local businesses, met so many kind, wonderful business owners and their stories.
We went on a eating spree from one authentic cuisine to another, like rice paper rolls @phohouse3031 Somalian food at New Somali Kitchen, dumplings @ilovedumplingsmelbourne Turkish delights and sweets at a Turkish place and drinks @douttagallahotel also stopped at so many other local businesses like an artisan butcher, sustainable and eco friendly products shop, Asian grocery and a lovely cafe.
It was a 4 hour tour of exploring so much new and old. Also our host Himanshi @foodietrailsau is so knowledgeable, kind and very charming who enlightened us about the history and unknown facts about Flemington. I absolutely adored her personality and she is an amazing human, you’d love to learn a lot from her and spend time with her on this tour.

Flemington, Victoria, Australia

Whether you are a foodie or not , a tour with Food Trails will make you a tourist in your own city.
Loved every stopover at the trail and every dish that was served with precision.
Needless to say , your host (Himanshi) will take good care of you, while she dives deeper into a bit of the historic aspect of it.
In short a must do trail if your visiting Melbourne or even if you happen to be a local.
