Knowledgeable and fun
Would strongly recommend

Ian was an excellent guide and extremely knowledgeable. Knows how to tell a good story too!
The tour took us right through Melbourne, explaining its origins and evolution as we went.
100% recommended.

Top tip - book this tour for the first day of your stay in Melbourne so you have plenty of time to revisit on the amazing places to eat and drink!
The night I booked, I was the only person - Hugo kindly offered me the following day with a group, a refund or a unique private tour. Due to schedule, I was unable to rebook so went for the personal tour.
Hugo was very knowledgeable and great company for the evening. He tailored the tour so l had the best experience ever. We were welcomed at all restaurants and bars visited which enriched the evening.
At the end of the evening, Hugo marked off all the places we'd visited on a map so I was able to return at my leisure.
This tour is a definite must whilst in Melbourne and my favourite one of them all. Thank you
and Depot

The reality of the tour was that we basically did a speed walk in order to keep up with our tour guide. The guide even got peeved with me for stopping to try and get some photos.
The coffee stop only offered only two types of coffee and no food option. And then at the end of the tour when we stopped at the pub, the only beer option included was a lager. If we wanted anything different it was on us to purchase it.

Little streets, good moments, historic tour
I was very happy to discover Melbourne by this way

Would definitely recommend to all.
Just be wary asking Hugo to take a photo as he loves to play jokes on you… seriously, he is a very funny tour guide and great value!

We stopped off at each bar to grab a drink and enjoy the space before moving on. Each bar/stop on the tour had a completely different vibe and je nais se quios about it so there is something for everyone - or something completely new to try.
True to their word, we never would have found or known about the incredible bars we visited without the tour. It definitely lives up to its name of “secret Laneway bars”.
A great tour for visitors and people new to the city ???? Great company, delicious drinks and a peppering of Melbourne history - what more could you ask for?

I highly recommend

I joined the walking tour at 10:30 in front of State Library. Daniel was our tour guide , a very knowledgable and funny young man. He started the history of Melbourne with gold rush which made Melbourne , one of the wealthiest cities in the world. We could learn and enjoy the interesting stories about the Outlaw Ned Kelly , visiting Carlton Gardens, Exhibition building, Victorian style houses, Parliament , Chinatown etc. In fact , Melbourne is defined with Queen Victoria.
It was my first time that I joined a Walking Tour and a very pleasant experience.
I strongly recommend this tour to those lovers of history.

Such lovely & knowledgeable person! She made the tour so interesting that I eventually fell in love with the city!
Well organized and well done.
Happy costumer ????
