Perfect way to spend the day We had such a fantastic day with Sam at Designated Driver for our Hunter Valley wine tour and would highly recommend them. The wineries and lunch spot recommended were perfect. Sam was an amazing host from start to finish — friendly, professional and great fun to spend the day with. The banter was high, and we felt like old friends right from the beginning.

Everything was also so easy to organise, which made planning the day completely stress-free. A special mention as well to Martelle, who was absolutely lovely. I've done a few tours in the Hunter Valley but this was by far my favourite. If you’re looking for a relaxed, reliable and genuinely enjoyable way to explore the Hunter Valley wineries, Designated Driver is a must.

Great service for wine tasting in the Hunter valley vineyards Great reliable service. Nice vehicles. Ideal for wine tasting in the Hunter valley vineyards. They were flexible with the return journey pick up times. We will be using them again and would definitely recommend these guys

Incredible Service with DDHV Our experience with DDHV was impeccable. The car was extremely clean and was filled with bottle bottle, perfect for a winery tour! Our driver Sam was lovely and was always on time and ready to help.

We had the best time on our half-day wine tour with Designated Driver Hunter Valley – it honestly exceeded all expectations! Everything from the booking process to the day itself was absolutely fantastic.

Sam and Martelle were brilliant – so warm, professional and organised. Martelle was beautiful to meet in person on the day, and she made the whole experience relaxed, fun and completely stress-free.

We visited wineries we never would have discovered on our own – and they ended up being our absolute favourites of the trip. The whole experience felt personalised and perfectly curated.

Great Day in the Hunter My friend and I booked this as part of our girls weekend to the Hunter. It was exactly what we were after for the day. Our driver, I am so sorry I can't remember his name, was fantastic. They picked us up from our accommodation, even went the extra mile and picked us up from the dining area after our breaky! We chose this service so we could go to vineyards of our own choosing rather than a pre-planned tour telling us where to go. The driver even through in a little detour to the Hunter Chocolate Company as we were driving past. We never felt rushed throughout the entire day, which made the wine tasting that much more enjoyable. Our driver was so friendly and the car was incredibly clean. The added bonus of bottled water throughout the day was also really great. I would definitely use this service again if I am in the Hunter and will be recommending to friends and family who make the trip there.

Fabulous transport for the Hunter Valley. We had the pleasure of Sam taking us around our planned wineries for the day. We were a group of 6 and were all very comfortable in his car.
Nothing was a problem. His car was beautiful and clean and whenever we returned from our tastings he was there waiting for us with doors open and bottles of water. Highly Recommend! I was recently gifted a pre-planned wine tour in the Hunter Valley and was lucky enough to have Martelle booked as our driver for the day. Martelle was very friendly and was always ready and waiting when we needed her. When we found ourselves with a bit of time to spare between bookings she was able to make some great suggestions of additional places to visit with her extensive knowledge of the local area. If I ever need a driving service again, I will definitely book with them!
