This tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in Adelaide. You’ll then be transported to Penfolds Magill Estate, one of Australia’s most iconic and historic wineries. Here, you’ll delve into its rich history, explore the original working winery, stroll through the vineyards, and discover the fascinating tales of the underground drives. The highlight of this visit will be a guided tasting of Penfolds’ fine wines.
Following our enriching winery experience, we’ll journey to Australia’s oldest surviving German village of Hahndorf. At Haus, you’ll enjoy a delightful two-course lunch with a variety of options, including classic Australian pub fare and traditional German cuisine, catering to all dietary requirements. After lunch, you’ll have an hour of free time to wander along Hahndorf’s historic main street. This artisan village, settled in 1839, offers a wonderful shopping experience with an eclectic range of shops featuring gemstones, hand-crafted leather goods, antiques, toys, books, and numerous galleries showcasing local artists and designers.
