Wonderful half day in nature and also sand surfing! Doug did an incredible job showing us the wildlife in the bush as they call it. His humor and love for people and animals shined thru.

We were visiting from the US for our honeymoon - had truly never heard of Port Lincoln or known anything about south Australia (sorry!!!!) but we are SO happy that we made the time to come here!! I wish we had more time. Lunch was great and we had a wonderful time touring the area. Would recommend to families, honeymooners, couples - there is something for everyone of all ages. Thanks again!

We were with Dave for 2 days and it was an incredible experience! The days were packed with fun, adventure, exciting views and play time, we loved every minute of it. We travelled all over Australia and our time in Port Lincoln was definitely the highlight of our trip. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and proud of the area and took us to places we would never be able to find or access on our own. My sister and I hired the EBikes for 4hours, it was a great way to explore the Beautiful town of Port Lincoln. The owners are extremely friendly and even drove us back to our hotel 🤩 They have a very cute dog too!

We have asked for a last-minute private tour and the company was very kind and professional in welcoming our request. The tour was very well-designed and focused on wildlife as we had asked for. The car was a dream, an exceptionally comfortable 4WD vehicle. The lunch was excellent, with shrimps, chicken, salads and fruits, with company receptive to food preferences. Doug, our guide, significantly contributed in making our day around Port Lincoln special, he’s been one of the best guides I have ever had, a good person with kind heart, deep knowledge and enthusiasm. Our guide, Greg, picked us up at our hotel and we were off on our adventure. Greg was one of the best guides we’ve ever toured with—extremely knowledgeable about the area, very personable, and is passionate about sharing the beauty of the region.

The day was filled with unforgettable moments: breathtaking coastal views, thrilling dune rides, sand boarding, and up-close encounters with koalas, kangaroos, and emus in their natural habitat.

Lunch was another highlight—a delicious seafood meal enjoyed while overlooking the ocean, the perfect setting to relax and take it all in.

We did a two day tour with Pete as our guide. He was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. He made sure that we didn't miss anything and showed us some amazing sites. We enjoyed the oyster farm tour, Mikkira Station, Coffin Bay and seeing the Southern Ocean. Highly recommend and hope to get to visit again in the future!

Singular experiences with an expert guide Outstanding tour of Port Lincoln & Eyre Peninsula. A comprehensive tour that gave us a good sense of the area, the incredible scenery, including the sand dunes, and a chance to see koalas, kangaroos and emus in their element. We learned so much! And we had a delightful morning with Ken Martin, a renowned local sculptor.

Exploring Port Lincoln and adjacent National Park A wonderful way to learn about the history and natural beauty of this part of Australia. The food and scenery were spectacular.

Highly recommended, Australian Coastal Safaris. Wonderful locally owned business. We hired our ebikes for the day, (not a part of a tour) and rode to Coffin Bay and back, 100km return, not for the faint hearted or anyone lacking fitness. Our dealings with Australian Coastal Safaris was wonderful, professional and easy. Booking online was easy and clear. Met with Renae who welcomed us and provided a wealth of local knowledge of tracks and roads, speaking from experience not just reading off a map. Solid and knowledgeable briefing of the ebike and operations. Ebike was a Cube, which is great bike, couldn't fault it and great fun. Highly recommended and well worth the price.

Had a fantastic time. Peter our host was excellent. Very authentic, knowledgeable and catered for us well. We laughed a lot especially driving through the sand dunes. The scenery was beautiful & the koala's are so cute. Lunch was nice with a local wine then Peter pulled out a lovely platter to top the day off. Thanks for everything our day was fantastic. Our tour & guide were phenomenal! My husband & I & 2 friends booked a tour with Australian Coastal Safari on a cruise ship day & I can’t imagine a more perfect tour.

Our guide, Doug, was phenomenal & one of the best tour guides we have ever toured with! He was a wealth of information & witty too.

Our tour could not have been any better. It was one of our favorite tours ever & we have been on 42 cruises & almost always book private excursions. We all agreed that this was one of the most diverse tours we have ever done.

We saw gorgeous beaches, amazing views, farmland, kangaroos (we saw two kangaroos mating ), koalas (we saw a koala with a joey in her pouch go down a tree, run right in front of us, climb another tree, get in a fight with another koala in that tree, run back down that tree, climb another tree, get into it with a bird nesting in that tree, etc), tropical birds, sleepy lizards (Doug picked one up out of the road & brought it into our car for us to see), we went four wheeling in sand dunes by the ocean which was a highlight for my husband, etc. We had a wonderful picnic with beer or wine in a gorgeous setting & some amazing snacks, salami, cheese, crackers, fruit, nuts, etc with wine later.

We will probably never get back to Australia but if we did, we would definitely tour with Australian Coastal Safaris again!

Absolutely fantastic customer service, loveliest people to deal with. Happy, bubbly personalities and very helpful with great knowledge of the area. The bikes were a great way to get around and see what Port Lincoln has to offer for the day as we had no other mode of transport due to flying in on a quick weekend trip. The tracks were easy to ride considering we are not regular bike riders with plenty of beautiful places to stop and eat. We would definitely look into some of their other adventures on a return trip to Port Lincoln.

Had an unreal few days first doing the shark tour and then the next day the seafood & wildlife tour. Even though we didn't see any sharks, the few days was still unbelievable and I think that is a testimony to how great Dougy, Renae, David and all the others who work there are. I highly recommend this experience, as I loved every minute and will definitely be back again soon to do it again.

What an amazing trip it has been!!!! Can’t thank enough for organising this for us right from the airport pick-up till the airport drop. Made sure we had the best hotel room in Hotel Port Lincoln, and great experience with Shark cage diving. Overall a great service, especially Doug our guide for the last day. Impressive work and a huge respect to him for sharing so much knowledge about the history and work that has been carried out at Port Lincoln. Doug sure knows how to take care of his guests. He made sure we didn’t miss any spots and especially with Koalas, Sand dunes and lot of interesting facts about other stuff. Would love to visit Port Lincoln some time again in the near future.

What a stunning place!! We had a magnificent day tour with Pete from Coastal Safaris, of the Lincoln National Park and Marina. Highlights included the natural ocean vistas, sand dunes and of course the Koalas at Murrikeet sanctuary. The second day of our tour went offshore to swim with the seals and of course Shark Cage Dive off Neptune Islands!! Whilst we did not see at Great White Shark, the experience with the Seals was unforgettable. Imagine yourself at a dog park with 30 Labrador pups clamouring for your attention..............then apply this to being in the water with these wonderful inquisitive seals!! In short we are going back to see more of this wonderful piece of Australia. Well done to the team at Coastal Safaris!!!!

Fantastic Wildlife Safari For our port stay in Port Lincoln on our Australia circumnavigation we arranged a Wildlife Safari with Australian Coastal Safaris and were glad we did so. Our excellent driver-guides David and Peter picked us up from the port and gave us a fantastic jeep tour over huge sand dunes to amazing cliffs and spectacular viewpoints. We had two vehicles with a group of six in each jeep. On the way we had a very tasty picnic lunch with big fresh prawns, chicken, salad and fruits. Before returning to the port we had a last stop at Mikkira Station to spot Koalas in their natural habitat. We saw many of them hanging around in the trees. We enjoyed our Wildlife tour with Australian Coastal Safaris very much and can only recommend them.

Took the e-bikes out to see the sand dunes and they were breathtaking! The beach on the other side is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! Thanks to these guys for helping us get there.

We had a fabulous few days with Lunch, exploring the best of Port Lincoln and surrounds, with beautiful chicken and seafood lunch on a clifftop, sand dunes and stunning coastal landscapes - finishing with a sundowner G&T garnished with fresh berries and amongst the koalas and kangaroos. We did the full day Exceptional Port Lincoln Seafood and Widlife Tour. It was a brilliant day from start to finish. We got to know the town from David's in-depth knowledge of its history, industry, and people. The 4W drive over the incredible sand dunes in Lincoln National Park along the stunning coastline literally took our breath away. It was so much fun and so beautiful. We were amazed to see and learn about the Stromatolites along Sleaford Mere. The crown in the jewel must be the visit to Mikkirra Station. David's knowledge about this special place, along with his stories about animal encounters, made the visit so special. We spotted dozens of koalas, kangaroos, and emus.
We were served a delicious lunch in the bush by an open fire, and the day ended with snacks and wine by a gum tree where koalas were munching on their dinner right next to us.
A magical experience and the best tour we have ever done.

After meeting the team at the office we were taken on the most wonderful day by Peter. He was a fantastic host with great knowledge and provided us with a relaxing day exploring Pt Lincoln and then the fantastic coastline close to Lincoln. The 4WD run on the sand hills followed by a great lunch was amazing with the close up viewing of the Koalas finishing off the day.

exceptional nature guide. Best part of vacation This three day trip was the best bit of a six week tour of west and south Australia. We had a lovely driver guide, a keen birder who took us around the national parks and other nature spots. Very knowledgeable lady. We had walks and tours at our own pace, saw lots of wildlife, including a visit to a private station which had a number of Koula at close quarters. We also went out on boat trip to oyster farm. Accommodation was supposed to be simple but was anything but. A designer house suitable for home magazines on the beach with views of the bay to watch the fishing boats come and go. Highly recommended. Thanks to the team especially Fran.

Fantastic day trip This was a different trip to our last one, we collect cockles at coffin bay, we relaxed whole day went diving for abalone and then we went to a beautiful beach where Dave cooked lunch for us. I have never tasted seafood like this, so delicate and fresh.
In the afternoon we went fishing and had a great time before Dave took us back to our apartment.

Whalers Way tour We did the half day Whalers way tour with David, & had a great morning seeing some spectacular scenery. Comfy vehicle, lovely morning tea, & David is a terrific guide.

About 2 weeks ago we did a full day 4WD tour with David. What a day!!! David was amazing. A wealth of knowledge, great banter, amazing lunch and location for lunch and to top it off we ended the day with an incredible wildlife tour and cheese and biscuits in front of a campfire with a few beverages. Highly recommended!!

A fantastic and unforgettable day spent 'Hunting and Gathering' My husband and I had a fantastic, exciting and absolutely unforgettable 'Hunting and Gathering' with David from Australian Coastal Safaris. It was definitely the highlight of our three-week trip to South Australia (even though we did lots of great stuff). David was friendly, knowledgeable and completely at home at the different sites we visited. We collected cockles, (he) snorkelled for abalone and we caught some fish off a surf beach - and then David cooked us up a wonderful meal of what we have caught/gathered (as well as some other nice stuff he pulled out of the back of his 4WD) right there on the beach. We were able to visit beaches and experience stuff that would have been impossible to do on our own. And, all the while, we felt perfectly safe in David's capable company. Dont miss Australian Coastal Safaris Ebike National Park Tour Australian Coastal Safaris was the highlight of our holiday in Port Lincoln. We booked the Ebike Mountain Bike National Park Tour to kick off our five day stay and safe to say Renea set the standard high. The Ebikes were impeccable, each a selected size and style to suit each rider. We quickly became comfortable with the power assist settings during the leisurely ride around the Harbour, points of interest and canal side homes of Port Lincoln before enjoying the natural trails of the Lincoln National Park. We whisked along easy open firm sandy and narrow shady trails surrounded by greenery and the magnificent scenery of the water. Mid tour we stopped at Sleaford Mere and climbed the huge sand dunes to take in the breathtaking views of the Peninsular Coastline and Indian Ocean while munching on a delicious picnic lunch. A truly unique experience before heading back meeting some of the previous now familiar trails were we all notched up the power and raced each other back to HQ. Renae even took the time to drop us into town to enjoy coffee and share stories about the day. Put Coastal Safaris on your must do list! What a fantastic day with David! He was a perfect host, was very knowledgeable, knows how to handle a car, and can cook! Lunch was fresh, healthy, and delicious, couldn’t fault anything. The sand dune driving was great fun, one of the highlights for me, and the kids really enjoyed hurtling down the sand dunes on boards. And the scenery, not going to say too much about that, best not to spread the word. Overall that day will give me many happy memories, I can’t think of a better way to spend a day.
