Diverse Wildlife: The Noosa Everglades are celebrated for their biodiversity, encompassing a multitude of bird species, fish, and diverse flora. This unique ecosystem also serves as a crucial habitat for numerous vulnerable and endangered species.

As a private tour, within this section of Noosa’s Everglades we get a peaceful and calm experience. We venture into hidden areas to savour the tranquility of being on calm water. We keep your enjoyment high by responding to the prevailing weather and paddling to protected areas away from strong winds. We will be on the lookout for loads of wildlife and marine life including Estuary Stingrays and Leopard Whiprays.

It’s a calming trip as you listen to nature and learn about the Kabi Kabi, natural ecosystems and Noosa’s role in caring for this region. 

The whole experience lasts around 2.5 – 3 hours.

You’ll have a lovely time but expect to get a little wet and be in the sun for a few hours. We recommend wearing your beach attire that keeps the elements off you (whether its sun, water, rain or wind)

TRANSPORT
to keep our prices as low as possible, all our tours are based on the guests making their own way to the meeting spot and so we don’t provide transfers/collections unless by prior request and confirmation.  

GETTING THERE

We meet at the edge of Lake Weyba as this acts as our gateway into  the southern end of the Noosa Everglades. There are various options for getting there from Noosa Junction;


  • 5 min drive, uber, taxi (there’s plenty of parking)
  • 5min bus + 10 min walk (Bus 628 from Noosa Junction and the closest stop is ‘Lake Weyba Dr near Creek Rd’)
  • 10min ride 
  • 10min eScooter (rentable from Oggy Scooters with the Noosa Junction hub at ‘ Noose Blue Resort’)
  • 30 min walk
STARTING TIME:
Your guide will have the tour ready for the start time, please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the starting time.

WHAT TO BRING… 
YOU WILL GET A LITTLE WET. Don’t worry, you won’t get soaked but we recommend wearing clothing you don’t mind getting splashed (active wear or beach related clothing is normally ideal). You’ll be outside for ~2.5hrs so pls bring a water bottle and anything you’d want to keep the elements off you (whether it’s sun, wind or rain)…

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
Please note that our business hours are Mon-Sun 8:30am-4:30pm. If you’ve booked outside of these times and your tour is the next day then please note that we will not be aware of your booking until the guide arrives at ~8am. If there are any issues with your last minute booking then they’ll reach out to you ASAP

BAD WEATHER + FLEXIBILITY
Please do check the weather forecast before your tour. Unless we have dangerous weather conditions then our tours go ahead even if its cloudy, rainy, windy… However if you don’t like the look of the weather then you can choose to change the day of your tour. Our best advice is to inform us of your availability and if a different day has nicer conditions we can help manage your booking and make sure you get the best experience. For non-perfect days, we bring items to keep you comfortable (such as rain jackets) and just ask that you bring a sense of adventure if you opt to do your tour in windy/rainy conditions.
