Rockfish I, our Seawind Resort Sailing Catamaran is perfectly designed for private charters on the Gold Coast for day trips to Wave Break Island. Its large internal undercover cabin area accommodates a maximum of 30 passengers, with plenty of space to relax on the nets on the bow and sunbake on the roof! The catamaran is fitted with a gas BBQ and two eskies to keep your food and drinks chilled. You can BYO food, drinks and ice or select our BBQ sausage sizzle option and we will take care of the catering.
Pickup and Dropoff:
Our standard pick up and drop off location is Pelican Beach Jetty in Main Beach Gold Coast. We can look at alternatives if needed. Our Rockfish charters are guided by our fun and energetic team of experienced skippers and deckhands who will ensure you have an amazing day out to Wave Break Island.

Rockfish I Gold Coast Private Charters
Our Rockfish I, a Seawind Resort Sailing Catamaran, is perfectly designed for private charters on the Gold Coast. Spend the day cruising to Wave Break Island with your mates and enjoy plenty of space—relax on the bow nets, sunbake on the roof, or kick back in the large undercover cabin area. Rockfish I accommodates up to 30 passengers. Our friendly, experienced skippers and deckhands will make sure you have an amazing day on the water. Rockfish operates year-round, including Public Holidays.
Pickup & Dropoff
Standard pickup/dropoff is at Pelican Beach Jetty, Main Beach, Gold Coast. Alternative locations may be arranged on request.

Swimming at Wave Break Island is permitted—please bring towels and any water toys you’d like.
Capacity: Maximum 30 guests. Additional guests cannot be accommodated and will be denied boarding.
On the Day
We will provide your skipper’s name and contact number before your cruise in case you need help locating the vessel. Please only contact the skipper on the day if you cannot find them at the wharf; direct all other enquiries to the Rockfish team via email.
Arrival: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup to prepare for boarding.
Weather Conditions
Your charter will proceed in most conditions. If, on the day, the skipper determines wind, storms, or other conditions make it unsafe, we’ll reschedule your cruise to your next preferred date (subject to availability). No refunds are provided for weather-related rescheduling. Decisions regarding unsafe conditions are made by the skipper within 24 hours of departure.
