Rockfish I, our Seawind Resort Sailing Catamaran is perfectly designed for private charters on the Gold Coast for day trips to Wave Break Island. Its large internal undercover cabin area accommodates a maximum of 30 passengers, with plenty of space to relax on the nets on the bow and sunbake on the roof! The catamaran is fitted with a gas BBQ and two eskies to keep your food and drinks chilled. You can BYO food, drinks and ice or select our BBQ sausage sizzle option and we will take care of the catering.


Pickup and Dropoff: 

Our standard pick up and drop off location is Pelican Beach Jetty in Main Beach Gold Coast.  We can look at alternatives if needed. Our Rockfish charters are guided by our fun and energetic team of experienced skippers and deckhands who will ensure you have an amazing day out to Wave Break Island.

  • The maximum number of guests permitted on board Rockfish 1 is 30.  Additional guests will be denied boarding. 

Our Rockfish charters are guided by our fun and energetic team of experienced skippers and deckhands who will ensure you have an amazing day out on Sydney Harbour! Rockfish is out on the water 365 days a year, including Public Holidays!


Charter Inclusions: 
Rate includes your skipper and deckhand.
Rates are all BYO Food Drinks and Ice. 
BBQ Packages are available at per person prices.
Gas BBQ is available on board along with two eskies. (Ice is not included unless you have booked a food package)
1 Bathroom on board.
Undercover Table and Seating.
Front Nets and Seating.
Cruise on Sydney Harbour after pickup.
Anchor for up to 2 hours at a Sydney Harbour Beach or Cove.
Swimming is permitted. Bring your own towels and water toys.

On the Day: 
We will supply you with the skipper’s name and contact number prior to your cruise in case you need to contact them. Please only contact the skipper on the day of the cruise if you are having trouble locating them at the wharf. All other enquiries should be direct to our Rockfish Crew via email.  Please be at your wharf at least 15 minutes prior to the assigned pickup time to prepare for boarding. 

Weather Conditions 
Your charter will proceed in all weather conditions unless wind/thunder or storms are deemed to be unsafe on the day of departure by our skippers. If we are obliged to reschedule your charter in the event of unsafe conditions, no refund will be offered but we will move you to your next preferred date, subject to availability. Decisions regarding ‘unsafe departure rescheduling’ are not made by our operations team outside of 24 hours from departure.
