Our Rockfish III Resort Catamaran accommodates a maximum of 43 passengers and features a massive internal undercover area. It also has a very roomy front area with tables and comfy lounges and has plenty of space to relax and sunbake! The catamaran is fitted with a large gas BBQ and and large esky’s to keep your food and drinks chilled. You can BYO food, drinks and ice or select our BBQ Package and we will take care of the catering.
Pickup and Dropoff:
Our standard pick up and drop off location is Towns Place Wharf in Millers Point or Lavender Bay Wharf in North Sydney. We can look at alternatives if needed. Our Rockfish charters are guided by our fun and energetic team of experienced skippers and deckhands who will ensure you have an amazing day out on Sydney Harbour! Rockfish is out on the water 365 days a year, including Public Holidays!

- The maximum number of guests permitted on board Rockfish 3 is 40. Additional guests will be denied boarding.

YOUR VESSEL – ROCKFISH III
Rockfish III is purpose-built for private charters on Sydney Harbour and is guided by our fun, energetic, and experienced skippers and deckhands. With generous deck space, undercover seating, and front nets, it’s ideal for social groups, celebrations, and relaxed harbour cruising. Rockfish operates 365 days a year, including Public Holidays.
PAYMENT STATUS & NEXT STEPS
If you have paid in full:
Our team will be in touch prior to your charter to share your skipper and crew contact details and to reconfirm your collection time and wharf pickup location.
If you have paid a deposit only:
Your final payment is due 14 days prior to your charter date. Failure to make payment by this time will result in automatic cancellation of your booking by our booking system, with the deposit forfeited in accordance with our Booking Terms & Conditions.
You will receive an automated payment reminder approximately 3 weeks prior to your charter, including a secure payment link. Please check your spam or junk folder if you have not received this email.
If you would like to pay sooner, have misplaced your payment link, or need assistance, please contact our team.
Tentative bookings:
Tentative bookings are held for 72 hours only. A 50% deposit is required within this time to secure your charter. If the deposit is not received, the booking will be automatically cancelled.

VESSEL CAPACITY (STRICT)
Rockfish III has a maximum capacity of 43 guests, including children. This limit is strictly enforced. Additional guests cannot be accommodated and will be denied boarding. Charters may be cancelled without refund if capacity limits are exceeded.
PICKUP & ARRIVAL
Please refer to your booking confirmation for your confirmed wharf pickup and dropoff locations. You are required to be at the wharf at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time to prepare for boarding. Public wharf access on Sydney Harbour is managed by Transport for NSW and short pickup windows apply. Our crew must adhere to these time limits and cannot wait for late arrivals.
ON THE DAY – SKIPPER CONTACT
We will provide your skipper’s name and contact number prior to your cruise. Please only contact the skipper on the day of the charter if you are having trouble locating the vessel at the wharf. All other enquiries should be directed to the Rockfish team via email.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Your charter will proceed in most weather conditions unless wind, thunder, or storms are deemed unsafe by the skipper on the day of departure. If we are required to reschedule your charter due to unsafe conditions, no refund will be offered; however, we will move your booking to your next preferred date, subject to availability. Decisions regarding unsafe departure rescheduling are made within 24 hours of departure.

All guests must read and accept the Rockfish – Conditions of Boarding, Safety Disclaimer & Waiver as a condition of boarding.

Guests will acknowledge and sign the waiver once on board. The Lead Hirer is responsible for sharing this waiver with all guests prior to the charter date.
