My daughter has just completed the Neptunes Girls Surf Camp for 2025. She had a fantastic time improving her surf skills with the amazing and experienced coaches Max, Janelle, Meg & Amos. What a great experience surfing new places and forging friendships, we will definitely be back next year, and through the year for more 1 on 1 coaching sessions for both our girls.

The Neptune Surfing Trip with Outdoor Ed Camp was absolutely outstanding, earning a solid 5-star rating. From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations. Set along a stunning stretch of coastline, the camp offers the perfect environment for surfers of all levels. The instructors were exceptional—professional, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping everyone improve their skills. Whether you were a first-time surfer or more experienced, the lessons were personalized, making sure everyone got the attention they needed to progress. The camaraderie within the group was inspiring, with everyone encouraging each other and sharing in the thrill of catching waves. The camp also provided valuable environmental education, focusing on ocean conservation and the importance of protecting our beaches, which added a meaningful layer to the trip. Accommodations were comfortable, with the soothing sounds of the ocean making for a truly relaxing atmosphere. In addition to the surfing, there was plenty of downtime to explore the area and take in the breathtaking views. But the surfing itself was undoubtedly the highlight—nothing beats the excitement of riding your first wave and seeing your progress throughout the trip. Overall, the Neptune Surfing Trip was a truly unforgettable adventure, combining skill-building, personal growth, and a deep connection to nature. I couldn’t recommend it more highly—it’s an absolute must-do for anyone looking for an adventure of a lifetime.

Had the chance to catch a few waves at Berry Bay over two days and swimm with the dolphins. The gear supplied was well maintained and in top condition. Looking forward to surf with you again.

A great experience at surf groms run by Neptune's. Our 2nd time doing this camp, kids had fun again and improved their skills. The staff (Meg, Indie, Hugo, Max, Janelle, others) were all excellent instructors, understanding and patient, and worked hard to get those kids on some great waves. Neptune's provides boards, wetsuits and rashies. Berry Bay is about as nice a beach as you'll find anywhere, and the wild dolphins are the icing on top!

This has now become a yearly tradition when we head to Yorkes with our big group--as requested by all the kids! The coaches are all super helpful and encouraging and always accommodate different abilities and learning needs. Adults can also give it a go. It's a great experience and worth the time when you're down that way.

Every surf lesson and camp with Max and Jenelle is wonderful. They cater for all ages and surf abilities, offering safe and fun lessons at some of the most beautiful beaches in South Australia. Our kids always leave with more confidence, amazing memories and tips to improve their surfing. Thank you both - you absolutely deserve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an amazing experience !!! As beginners we had so much fun- good lessons, good people, good stuff like the board and wettest, the spot is PARADISE and the waves perfect to start! Highlight of the lesson: dolphins and seals came say Hi and do a bit of show ????

Have been coming down to Yorkes for a few years now, and each time have gotten a few lessons with Neptunes. They have great staff, easy communication and were happy to recommend some great paddle-boarding spots around the peninsula for my friends and I. We'll be back down and grabbing some kayaks off them next summer!

Fantastic Activity on The York Peninsula I went on a surf camp and the people at Neptune Surf Coaching gave us surfing lessons over 2 days. Max and his team of instructors very friendly, encouraging and positive the whole time. I liked that they had wetsuits for all sizes as an overweight person, I felt comfortable in their wetsuits, very important to me. A great experience for anyone visiting the York Peninsula.

Very lovley group of people, family run business. Instructors Max and Genelle have a good mix of experience and humour to make the whole experience exciting but also enjoyable.

This group surf lesson with Neptunes Surf Coaching was a highlight of my trip to Corny Point before Christmas. Great coaching, lots of help and time, the guys are really friendly, supportive and encouraging. What a great way to spend some down time. A beautiful beach, in the water, with some awesome people. Always a great fun day hiring boards! Have done a couple of lessons and hired boards a couple of times - lessons with Janelle were great, helped build our confidence & taught us lots. Super easy to communicate & book with - always a must do when we head down that way!

Neptunes is amazing. We have used them twice now for our kids lessons. They are great with kids and they have had an amazing time.

Max and Jenelle are wonderful coaches. We all were able to stand up, and saw so many dolphins. A must do on the Yorke Peninsula.

The boys surf camp was better than we could have hoped. The coaching itself was absolutely outstanding, catering to all needs with such skill. Jenelle’s ability to provide constructive feedback to every participant was exceptional. There was also plenty of fun had away from the waves… in particular the side trip to go tadpoling!! The boys absolutely loved it!!

We took 2 families and they supplied 3 staff members to teach and help in the surf. This allowed the adults to practice and know that the children were safe also which was fabulous.
All gear was in good repair and the tuition was clear and concise. We all improved and walked away having had a wonderful time.

I am a 40+ beginner/intermediate surfer and recently had a private lesson with Jenelle at Neptunes.

Jenelle was amazing. She listened really well to what I wanted to achieve, was able to quickly identify specific things I needed to change and then gave me tons of practice and encouragement to make the changes. Her manner was great; I really enjoyed it and really improved my skills. Highly recommended!

Our two boys had 3 lessons with Neptune’s Surf Coaching. All of the instructors were fabulous. Super-professional and safety conscious, but also really relaxed and great fun. Even in a group setting with both adults and kids learning, everyone got individual attention suited to their ability. Even in one lesson we could see improvement in the kids skills and confidence, but having more than one lesson really helped consolidate what they learned. And they had so much fun! Highly recommended!!!
