Visit was nice. As soon as we came in the shopping center and ask on information desk they put as a person that took us to the main entry of the tower eye (as there are no signs at all on how to reach the top floor….). The visit was nice on the evening 5 pm not too may people.

Visiting the Sydney Tower Eye was an unforgettable experience and a must-do if you’re in the city! The 360-degree views from the top are absolutely breathtaking—you can see the Sydney's iconic buildings and skyscrapers, immaculate ocean views.
The Observation Deck is spacious, well-maintained, and has interactive displays that help you understand what you’re seeing. I also loved how peaceful it felt up there—great spot for photos or just soaking in the view.
Booking online saved us time and money. We went there around 10in the morning and didn't have to wait at all.
Overall, it was fantastic experience for us and my 5 year old son loved it.

Omg. What a beautiful experience. At first, I thought that I would be uncomfortable being up so high. I was so wrong. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It was also great to be around other people enjoying the same experience. While in the elevator on the way up, we were even able to smile and wave at other people in another elevator and see their reactions on a screen. A super fun time was had. For a greater value, you can purchase combo tickets for Sydney tower, Sydney zoo, and Sydney aquarium.

This is one of the four attraction places from the four attractions you can buy from their official website.
You can see the darling harbour, hyde park and nearby city, from this place.
Very recommended to go during the sunset. Waiting time is more so please go accordingly.
You have a sky walk, for which you need to pay extra.
The experience is enjoyable but there's nothing more to explore after some time. It's just a deck where you can see the whole city.
It's good to see the city from here for us visitors. We'll enjoy the view.

We visited the Sydney Tower Eye as a family, and it went really well. It was a great experience to see the city from such a high point. The escalators were smooth and worked well. Some of my family members felt a bit scared, but a staff member stepped in and was very kind and helpful, which we appreciated. Overall, the staff were extremely helpful.
We took photos at the photo booth, but the quality wasn’t as good as before when they used professional cameras like Canon. The current setup seems to use a special camera, and while the photos were okay, they lacked the sharpness and clarity we expected.
The experience itself was enjoyable, but after about 30 minutes, the view doesn’t change much, so it can start to feel repetitive. It’s definitely something nice to do, but it’s not a must-do activity on its own. It would be better to combine it with other attractions in Sydney.
I recommend buying a combo ticket that includes the Sydney Tower Eye along with other places like the aquarium or the wildlife park. Buying two or three attractions together gives you more value, and the third one is usually added at a much lower price.

Sydney Tower Eye offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, harbour, and even the Blue Mountains on a clear day. The observation deck is spacious and provides a great perspective of Sydney’s skyline. It’s a fantastic spot for photography, especially at sunset.
However, aside from the view, there isn’t much else to do at the top. While it’s a great experience for first-time visitors, it might not be as exciting for those looking for more interactive attractions. Still, it’s a worthwhile visit to see Sydney from above!

★☆☆☆☆ Completely Overrated and Not Worth It
We visited the Sydney Tower Eye in February 2025, and it was a huge disappointment. The tickets were way too expensive for what you get. The elevator was small and outdated, with no interesting details about the height or speed or even an sticker or image about that—just a monitor showing CCTV footage of another elevator, as if that was supposed to impress us!
There was no warm welcome, and when we reached the top, there was literally no one there. No atmosphere, no excitement—just nothing. Definitely not worth the time or money.
They can explain about the tower while people waiting for elevator instead of taking useless photos at entrance.

I love going up the eye, it's a great experience for all ages with 360° views of Sydney. If you're a local like me, it's a great place to take visiting friends/family, & if you're a visitor, it's a must do, in my book. There is also viewing binoculars, a great photobooth, a great gift shop & refreshments kiosk. There are also no obligation photos available to buy of your experience at the end. I think it's value for money, I would definitely go again

Got to enter during the morning, when there were only a few people, so I got to enjoy my time with less crowds up the viewing deck. As for the experience itself, it was wonderful to see most of Sydney from a birds-eye view, as I got to see a lot of the sights from above, like the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and even far out like the airport and other notable neighborhoods.
There wasn’t much to do up, though. It’s mostly for viewing the city and neighboring skylines. They had a cafe and souvenir shop but I didn’t peruse as much.
Either way it’s a great perspective to see the city from a different perspective. I’d go back again if not for my acrophobia.

You enter through a shopping mall which should be the first hint of trouble - it's the kind of place where they force you to pose for pictures beside a wall photo which they hope to sell you later .
So we stood at the ticket/guest services counter on a busy Saturday afternoon for at least 15 minutes as we had questions about the ticket type - not one staff member there. A variety of other staff (chatting and playing on their phones) gathered around the elevator doors undoubtedly saw us there but none moved to help us.
Nobody was collecting nor checking tickets - we saw a variety of people just go on into the elevators absent paying for them or being asked to show any.
We finally just went ahead and bought the GA tickets on our phones, figuring we would ask our questions at the top and sort it out there as respected any changes .nobody checked or asked to see our tickets either.
Once we got to the top we immediately went to the gift shop desk to again ask our questions - quickly understanding that what we needed to get outside was an upgrade to what we had purchased. The enclosed area was crowded, unpleasant, hot and uncomfortable - also potential covid central imo with the lack of air circulation - not at all what we wanted. They said they could not do the upgrade there - we had to go back down and fill out paperwork. So they called the staff downstairs, confirmed there was room for us, told them we were on our way back down to process the change & immediately ushered us back onto the elevator we had just arrived on.
Upon return to the upgrade desk there (again ushered by elevator staff who knew we were coming and why) the staff person told us - 'sorry - we just sold your spots to someone else who walked by as you were on the way down' - even though they had been called & advised we were on the way for the spots.
At that point we just left. No interest in returning to the stifling crowded enclosed landing .so we paid $66 for a 5 minute round trip on an elevator. Currently disputing the charge.

Worth it for the 360° views of Darling Bay and Sydney Harbour. Large windows offer a clear view and there are FREE binocular stands every few meters. On a clear day we observed planes landing at SYD! Worth the cost to spend some peaceful time above the city.

Located at Westfield Sydney, Level 5/ 108 Market Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. This is the place to come for a spectacular 360 degree view of the Sydney CBD and beyond. Unfortunately it was raining when we went but we still had fantastic views. I can only imagine what the view would be like on a clear day. It’s very wheelchair accessible which was great for us as we someone with us in a chair. The toilet facilities are very good also. We found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. You are able to get some snacks and drinks if you want also. I would definitely recommend a visit, especially on a clear day.

My first time at this observation deck, really amazing view of Sydney. However from the inside you can hardly see the Opera House but overall a fantastic view of the city of Sydney.
You need to enter this place from Westfield but it is a bit of a journey to fetch to. Perhaps the closest entrance to go from is from Castlereagh Street.
Once at the deck, you can take photos, selfies, panoramas and videos for as long as you want.
I went on a partly cloudy, sunny, showery day but the view is still nice.
Many people would say that sunset views are the best, however it depends on the closing time, so please check the closing time on the day you plan to go.
The prices are reasonable and not too expensive. There are concessions and kids prices available.
If you are visiting Sydney, I would highly recommend a visit to this place if you are looking for an aerial view of the city.

The Sydney Tower Eye offers a breathtaking perspective of the city skyline from its lofty heights. While my visit coincided with a cloudy day, it was evident that on sunnier days, the panoramic views would undoubtedly be even more spectacular. Despite the weather, the experience was still memorable, with the vast expanse of Sydney laid out below, showcasing its iconic landmarks and bustling streets. From the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the distant Blue Mountains, the vista from the tower provides a unique and captivating view of the city. For optimal visibility and photo opportunities, a visit on a sunny day would be ideal, but even on overcast days, the Sydney Tower Eye remains a noteworthy attraction worth exploring.

It was nice to see Sydney in bird’s eye view. You get a much better picture of this cosmopolitan and green city. We chose a late afternoon visit to see the sunset. It was worthwhile. The sunset that day was lovely. The biggest let-down was the windows - they’re seriously way too dirty. It was hard to get a good photo without taking in the marks on the window (see my photo). For a business that is based on giving a good city view, cleanliness of the windows should be top priority. Otherwise, the entrance was good, wait time wasn’t long. Overall, it’s a pleasant thing to do while visiting Sydney.

We got the pass for multiple attractions so the price was quite good considering the experience. The staff was great and there was not much waiting time.
We went during the day so the photos of the people came out overexposed so remember to use your flash to balance out the lighting if you're after nice photos ????

The best part of the experience was the view and pictures. I didn't care for the food, especially buffet. I was one of the first to arrive for today's buffet and I wasn't impressed with the presentation. The was seafood galore, but it was cold. They had a good selection of meats, however for the price of the ticket, I expected something more. Additionally, it felt a little old. The carpeting definitely needs to be replaced.

Fantastic bird's eye view of the whole city. I came at lunchtime on a weekday so it was not too busy. Very impressed by the clean windows so that when you take photos, they come out super clear. There are telescopes so you can get a magnified view of landmarks of interest. Having lived in Sydney all my life, it was interesting to see all the new buildings compared with the last time I came up here over 20 years ago. Before, it was very easy to find the Harbour bridge and Sydney Opera house. Now you have to look between the buildings but at least you can still see them! Good that there was air con as it was very hot outside that day. I've been to a lot of towers around the world and this one definitely deserves 5 stars!

Experience:
As you can see in my photos, I was able to capture different moments of the Sydney Tower Eye. I was able to witness the beautiful overlooking view of Sydney during the day, sunset, and night. I would say I was really enamored by the beauty of Sydney for it is a mixture of a highly urbanized city and unpolluted seas. This unique combination gave me the chills when I viewed it at the top. Aside from that, observing the sunset from this place was such a unique experience. It was just amazing to see the phase where the city suddenly becomes alive at night. I can definitely vouch that the view up top is very very beautiful.
Perhaps, the major downside for me of this place is that it is too crowded. Of course it makes sense that it will be crowded since it is at the heart of the city, and a place that most tourists will come to visit. It’s just a personal thing but I prefer to visit places that have less people (you can refer to my other reviews for reference). If you are fine with crowds, then, you will absolutely love this place.
Planning your trip:
For me, best time to visit this place is when it is around sunset. You can witness how Sydney changes from day to night and it is a wonderful experience. The night view is such a spectacular scene. Aside from that, if in any case you get bored of the place, you have tons of options to visit after. Unlike scenic spots in rural areas where they are the only good place in the area, after enjoying yourself with the view of Sydney Tower Eye, you got tons of places to visit after.

4. **Dining Options:** The tower also offers dining options. There's a restaurant called 360 Bar and Dining, providing a unique dining experience with stunning views as you enjoy your meal.
5. **Interactive Experience:** Inside, there are interactive touchscreens and displays offering information about Sydney's history, landmarks, and interesting facts about the city.

A nice place to see the city of Sydney from above. We walked in and bought our tickets without any issues on a Monday early afternoon.
We took the lift up to the tower. I wanted to go to their bar restaurant for a drink and snacks, but it was closed to the public with only a lunch buffet offered.

Very nice experience with wonderful views.
Plus points: the charcuterie and the cheese platter was nice, as well as oysters.
However it was hard to find and on the day and at the time we went, it didn’t revolve. We asked for 1 more toast with the cheese platter as we were 3 people and got 2 toasts, and had to pay $10 extra. That’s why I removed a star.
Otherwise, it’s a nice tourist attraction to visit to catch Sydney’s beauty from above. The elevator is quite intense so be careful if you have issues with quick up and down elevators.
