Try our ‘Taste of the Clare Valley’ Cycling and Tasting Experience! Enjoy a leisurely ride on the Riesling Trail, visits to our two Cellar Doors and finishing up at Clare Valley Distillery, all at your own pace.
Start your journey at Clare Valley Cycle Hire and collect your e-bike. An e-bike rides the same as a traditional bike, but with an extra boost when you pedal to make riding uphill and over rocky paths easier. The perfect option so you can focus your energy on enjoying the delicious wine and food we have planned for the day!
From there, take a gentle ride along the Riesling Trail 2km to Mr. Mick Cellar Door and Kitchen. Relax and enjoy a wine tasting followed by a tapas-style lunch selected by our Chefs. Includes three wines paired with your meal (valued at $20 per person).
After lunch, take a scenic ride 3kms along the Riesling Trail to Tim Adams Wines, where you will enjoy tasting a selection of 5 back vintage wines from Tim’s cellar.
Finish the day with a gin flight at the newly opened Clare Valley Distillery, a mere 2 minute ride from Tim Adams.
For the final part of your journey, ride a short distance back to Clare Valley Cycle Hire to return your e-bike.

We chose the Chefs menu for lunch and were blown away with the quality & quantity of food, we couldn’t finish it all and the very kind staff suggested boxing up the rest, we enjoyed it for dinner.
Wonderful afternoon spent there, highly recommend Mr Micks
I am baffled by the positive reviews this place has received. When I asked about the small portions, the staff were dismissive and unprofessional. The poor customer service and lack of respect were shocking. For the high prices, the food quality and portion sizes were disappointing.
I strongly recommend seeking another place. This establishment needs to learn how to treat customers with respect and listen to their concerns instead of interrupting and rolling their eyes. I will never return and would not suggest this place to anyone.

We did a tasting first - very enjoyable, with most wines available for puchase at under $20 a bottle, so reasonable!
Lunch was under the trees, on the lawn - magic!
Our group ordered Calamari, Lamb Cutlets, Aracini, Barramundi, Greek Salad and Duck!
Everything was delicious, everyone was content ????
Thank you Mr. Mick!

The staff were really nice and very friendly who all seem to make it run like clockwork our tapas dishes came out at a steady rate and we didn’t feel rushed, it was a really relaxing dining experience thank you ???? this place is a hidden gem & I would definitely recommend it
Great wines.
The tapas style dinner was awesome.
Beautiful food, beautifully presented and the serving and kitchen staff were exceptional. Friendly and helpful, and really knew what they were talking about.
Thoroughly recommend everyone to get to Mr Mick and enjoy their dining experience.

Nice view as well!

Exhibit A: the $22 crab came with 3 small pieces of fried batter …
Exhibit B: the blue fin sashimi tuna was horrendous - see pic
The rest of the dishes were subpar and lacked flavour. Wine wasn’t great either.
Unsure why people recommend here for lunch…skip this place. Go to Paulette’s

Ordered the pork, lamb and patatas and churros. Love how the food here is fusion. I believe the pork belly was cooked in a style which has Chinese influence and served with plum sauce. Love the patatas.
The menu is great and offers suggestions on the type of wine to pair.
