Whether you’ve visited before, you’re a huge foodie, or you just want something authentic to do in Adelaide, this Adelaide food tour is for you!

What is fritz? A frog cake? Find out as you join us for our two-hour Adelaide food tour around the city centre, where you will discover the local meats and sweets of South Australia. As we detail the history of these locally made products, you’ll taste the city’s best chocolate, nuts, and iced coffee, plus oddities we grow up eating in Adelaide: a frog cake and some fritz. Finally, lunch will be provided from within the market at a popular bakery (a meat pie/pasty etc of your choice). You’ll take away a surprise dessert plus extra goodies to continue your Adelaide food journey.

This is a fun, unique Adelaide tour about the city’s love for quirky food. Walk away knowing more about Adelaide than the average traveller, and be sure to bring a shopping bag as you’ll have time to make purchases at our stops.

Notes

*Not suitable for gluten free/vegans. One pork/beef product included.

*Suitable for vegetarians – please confirm this and your lunch option of choice when booking.

*Bookings are essential and close before the event.

*If only one person is booked, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a tour.

*For child bookings, iced coffee will be substituted for a flavoured milk or juice unless requested otherwise.

*Wednesday is an optional trading day at the Central Market. This tour is not affected, but please keep in mind not all stalls are open to explore afterwards on this day of the week.

Thank you for booking with Flamboyance Tours! We look forward to having you walk with us.

Please also consider joining one of our other city tours on foot, such as the Welcome to Adelaide tour, or Paint and Palate Street Art Tour. If you want to do something outside of the city centre, consider our Port Adelaide Walking Tour!

If you have any questions, please visit our FAQs page or get in touch directly. Otherwise, we look forward to showing you the best of Adelaide’s local foods.
