You travel in comfort in a mini van, get to see so many beautiful sights of Sydney, famous landmarks & stop in picturesque spots to take in the amazing views & get photos. Our guide was so fun & shared some really interesting facts & information on the history of such a beautiful city. We look forward to doing another tour in yhe future.

A GREAT Start to our time in Sydney This was our first tour a day after arriving in Sydney for a week-long visit. We were impressed with Sharon, our tour guide’s knowledge and love of the city. She took us to the important neighborhoods and provided interesting history of each area. Her stories kept us interested and excited about Sydney for the entire duration of the tour. It was a great start to our time in Sydney and as we have continued our visit, find ourselves referencing what we learned from Sharon. Her tour gave us helpful information about what we wanted to revisit.

Great Sydney Excursion Fantastic experience. Would have been nice to have a coffee break. The bread though was very nice.

“The story of Sydney tour” was a very nice experience. The guide gave lots of different pieces of information and history. Furthermore he showed very nice hidden spots so we could make lovely pictures of the city. Even when we spotted dolphins in the ocean on our way back he stopped the car and we got an opportunity to see the dolphins and take pictures. It was truly an amazing day and the guide ensured we had the best time!!!

Excellent Sydney Tour Sharon, our guide, was in the agreed place at the right time with an air conditioned mini bus. Our two tour companions were already onboard. Sharon explained our tour and provided sturdy copies of a map of the route and the highlights.

Sharon's running commentary was full of interesting facts and stories. I would suggest she pauses for breath occasionally and ask if anyone has a question.

All the stops were well selected and included an optional walk along the cliff tops (perfectly safe) and Bondi Breach.

Our companions were dropped back to their hotel and we had some extra time available so Sharon took us back over the bridge and gave us some suggestions of possible boat trips.

All in all an excellent tour which was good value for money. A tour I would recommend to my best friend. If you have a few hours spare and want to cram in lots of the main attractions.

Rename The Tour This should not be called Street Eats Harbour Treats because there was only 1 custard dessert that was given to us. The title was misleading because there was no "EATS" involved in the tour.

Both Helen and Jo were great guides! They were full of knowledge and I felt we learned a lot of history.

Great tour!! The story of Sydney is a great tour! It takes you around the city to tell the story of the city from beginning to now. Getting to see the different areas, neighborhoods and beaches was a great way to see the city in a few hours. Sharon was a great tour guide and knew her information. Highly recommend!

Great Tour Amazing Guide We booked a tour of the Blue Mountains that included a hike through beautiful forests of bamboo trees where we saw many species of birds. We also saw some breathtaking views of waterfalls. Our guide Rohan was amazing. He knew so much about the area and gave us great information about Sydney and surrounding areas along with great restaraunt recommendations. Highly recommend this as a day tour out of Sydney.

Today’s The Story of Sydney Tour with Sharon was the best urban van/SUV tour we’ve ever had worldwide. Sharon is friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver in Sydney’s challenging traffic. 4 hours is a perfect length, and with 4 people making up our tour the exchange of information was easy. Story of Sydney Tour We were greeted early by our host Sharon in our Four Seasons Sydney hotel. She clearly briefed us about the travel plan (I loved the organization!). We learned that my wife and I were the only 2 on the trip but they were going anyway! What customer service!! Helen, from the Tour office joined us and added to the interesting commentary along the way. They painted a colorful narrative of the Story of Sydney and stopped at very beautiful spots. This was a very worthy excursion to introduce Sydney from many angles and the coach was quite comfortable. Sharon stopped at such scenic vistas for this photography buff. Now I have these memories to print!
She is such a gracious informative hostess and excellent driver at the same time. A must trip to get to know this gem of a city!

Outstanding tour that is well worth it! We had an amazing time with Jen! She took us all over Sydney and what I really appreciated about this tour is that we went everywhere we were told beforehand and tried lots of different dishes. This tour provided plenty of food and drinks, something that can be very lacking with these type of tours. In addition to having a guide who felt like an old friend, this tour made sure to escort us around the city to get the best eats possible instead of just taking us through one neighborhood making it easy on the guide. This is a must if you like food!

Excellent Half-Day Tour Choice Guy gave a fabulous tour and was a wealth of knowledge! Nice overview of Sydney Harbour loop and gave me many ideas of other sites to visit. So pleased I decided to book this tour.

As an 18-year-old who had just flown into Sydney, I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-hour city tour. I thought it’d be long, boring, and full of stuffy history lectures. But “Ultimately Sydney” completely changed my mind. Our tour guide, Helen, was incredible. She was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience feel more like an adventure than a tour.

What really stood out to me was how immersive it all was. We didn’t just drive past landmarks we stopped, explored, and actually learned about them in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely interesting. From iconic places like the Opera House to lesser-known hidden gems, Helen gave us all the cool facts and stories behind them.

But it wasn’t just about history. Helen also talked a lot about Sydney’s culture and the people who live here. That made the city feel more real and relatable, especially for someone new like me. Awesome tour and operator! We went on the Ultimately Sydney tour. This was an awesome tour with the most friendly tour operator we have ever had. Helen was incredibly knowledgeable and so confident in Sydney traffic. She spoke loudly and clearly whilst being humorous and respectful. We went places and learnt so much more about this wonderful city! The vehicle was spotless, comfortable and air conditioned. My wife and I took the Taste of Sydney tour, and we had a terrific time! Our host Helen picked us up at our hotel, and we were off to 5 different venues across Sydney (Seafood Market, Lotus @ Barangaroo, Harry's Cafe De Wheels, Moon Shiner Gin Distillery, Handpicked Wines Cellar Door). The food and drink and each venue were amazing, but the best part was hearing Helen regale us with the history and local knowledge of Sydney along the way. Awesome tour Yesterday morning we were picked up by two charming tour guides from Ultimately Sydney. Their knowledge of the usual and unusual historical sites around Sydney was a refreshing change from the standard scripted tour. They also took the time to point out the different architectural styles around the city and how they changed as the city evolved.

Sydney neighborhoods Food Tour Helen was a fantastic guide. It ended up just being my wife and myself ..so she was very flexible on the food tour. We had a couple of food stops in various neighborhoods, a Gin distillery, and ended at a wine tasting with a charcuterie board. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend their food tour for a unique experience!

Great tour It was a nice tour. The tour guide is easy to understand and able to control the timing quite well. I wish the back of the seats of the tour bus is lower so it would made it easier for the people sitting at the back to enjoy the view.. Overall, the tour itself was great and I would recommend it to anyone who only have half a day to tour Sydney and without their own vehicle.

We only had a couple of days in Sydney so we used google to search for foodie tours that showed off food that was uniquely Sydney. After doing a little research we chose Ultimately Sydney. Since there weren’t any small group tours available during our stay, we booked a private tour and are extremely glad we did. Helen took the time to ask us about our expectations and preferences. Over the course of several email exchanges she tailored an experience that was exactly what we asked for. We can’t say enough good things about Helen. During the tour she ran into a significant traffic snarl. She was able to pivot and offer us a slight change in our schedule that would keep us from sitting in traffic for over an hour. We greatfully accepted the change.

One of the best ways to see the city The Story of Sidney Tour by Ultimate Sydney was an amazing way to learn the history of Sydney and see some amazing sights. Helen was the best tour guide and took us from the Rocks to the harbor to Bondi Beach the tour was well worth the time. Helen took the time to explain how the city was founded and built up, taking us to some of the key area that spurned growth and made Sydney into what is is today. I reccomend this tour for anyone looking for a good overview of the history of Sydney and want some really great photos and memories.

A great way to learn the rich history of Sydney! One of the best city tours out there in Sydney! I am glad I booked a city tour with Ultimately Sydney because she did an amazing job of storytelling, telling us with great depth the history of Sydney and how it came to be as it is today. From the Aboriginals, to Captain cook first arriving on the shores of Sydney to Macquarie and his great contributions to the development of Sydney, she made every view of Sydney memorable with her rich knowledge of history. I could imagine very well each part of history unraveling at every stop we made and she was a gem for suggesting all the best places to eat and the best local markets. I highly recommend this tour!

The Taste of Sydney tour was fantastic. Our guide, Helen, was fun and knowledgeable. The tour inc lunch at Bangaroo, beer tasting and snacks at the Tram Shed, an extensive gin tasting, cake and coffee and a wine tasting. So much fun and so much food and drinks! Highly recommend!

Fantastic Food Tour! My 21yr old daughter and I had the pleasure of taking this tour recently and it was amazing. Our guide, Helen, picked us up from our hotel in the Rocks, picked up another guest and away we went. We visited so many different areas of Sydney and at each one Helen shared fun and interesting information. AND the food and drinks! First stop.. lunch at Lotus in Barangaroo which was delicious Chinese food. Second stop.. the tram shed sampling beers and another platter of snacks. Third stop.. an incredibly fun gin tasting. Very nice way to learn about the city during a short visit. We enjoyed this tour of Sydney. It allowed us to see points of interest and learn about the cities history during a very short 3 day visit.
