This is the Ultimate Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop experience where you will spend time enjoying everything that the Farm Shop in the Barossa has to offer. Start your visit with a welcome drink of Maggie’s non-alcoholic Sparkling range, followed by a guided demonstration including the history of the farm and Maggie Beer – held in the studio kitchen of ‘The cook and the Chef’.
You will take part in our seasonal cooking demonstration using fresh produce and products from Maggie’s exclusive range – and a chance to taste food that has been prepared during the session together. Spend time with friends and family, with the chance to have your photograph taken in the studio kitchen – and be part of this intimate, small group experience.
You will be provided with hints and tips to use Maggie’s range at home, with easy to follow recipes. Our Farm Shop team will host you in our tasting room for a guided experience of our Pheasant Farm Wines and Maggie’s Orchard Gin.
Whilst visiting the Farm Shop, enjoy an included grazing board lunch on the Dam, as well as a glass of our Pheasant Farm Wine.
The demonstration will run for approximately 45 minutes, and the total experience will be approximately 2.5 hours.
Minimum guest numbers do apply for a confirmed experience.

We chose the indulgent cooking and dining experience, which was an absolutely excellent value packed mixture of cooking skills, delightful food and yummy wines.

The wine tasting is a must do...
Highly recommend!!!
The range of products is impressive—gourmet pâtés, fruit pastes, sauces, and, of course, the famous burnt fig, honeycomb & caramel ice cream. Everything is crafted with high-quality ingredients and packed with flavor. The scenic surroundings add to the charm, making it a perfect place to relax and indulge.
Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a lovely spot to unwind, Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop is a must-visit. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Barossa Valley!

It’s a lovely lake and nice to walk around the property.
The wine tasting lady was very friendly but the other staff gave the feeling of a commercial venture, with not much passion for their job.

Highly recommend this.
Thank you fora wonderful experience.

My only gripe was that once lunch time hit, the dining room spread into our area, with banter, laughter and noise overshadowing our experience. It made it hard to hear Linda for the second part of our long lunch cooking class.

Outstanding recipes, produce and guidance from Linda. Welcoming and inspiring

The cooking demonstration was very informative and tasted amazing.
The wine and gin tasting with Jacob was very enjoyable and we had so much fun.
The whole day was incredible and we can’t believe we actually got to spend time at the farm shop. This was one big tick off the bucket list. Thank you for an awesome day

Booked for a friend and myself. We had cooking class by Lynda and wine and gin tasting by Jake. My friend was the designated driver so Jake suggested she take a mocktail tasting instead. The service of all the staff was excellent, they made you feel exclusive and special. There were also items sold only at the farm shop.
I was told we would take averagely 2-3 hours, but we were there till they closed! Absolutely amazing!!! Would highly recommend it to anyone going to Barossa Valley.

What a stunning place.
Found some delicious liquor and jams.
We love it.
Must try the gelato!

All overlooking a small lake with native turtles that happily swim on the shore.
Would definitely recommend for a stop if you’re in the Barossa.
Today lived up to our expectations and more.
From being greeted by name at the counter to our cooking demonstration, wine tasting and of course our amazing lunch in the restaurant we could not have been happier or more impressed with our experience.
The ease of shopping in the farm store and having you ship it home to Newman in Western Australia was truly the icing on the cake.
We honestly both enjoyed our experience soo much and we have vowed to come back and try the cooking school.
We are going to take great pleasure in enjoying our goodies from the farm store and take pleasure in cooking from our book for friends and family.

The restaurant was off limits to our tour, I thought the docent might prepare an appy or something to taste after her kitchen talk, but we got nothing to eat, which was extremely disappointing considering where we were!
Nice grounds, but not worth a return visit.

It was surreal to see Maggie's piece of paradise. This was a quick stop along the way of a tour we were on but it was still a pleasant stop nonetheless. Long enough to hear a quick talk on the origins of this location and Maggie's transferance from her love to television and pick up a few tasty souvenirs to bring back home to Sydney with us. Did learn about Maggie's investment into food and the aged care setting. If possible, make sure you take the time to check out the various pheasants on the property as well.
