This experience just amazing. The Mayura Station, winery tour and lunch at Otelia was just perfect. Accomodation was perfect for what we needed. Very Clean and tidy. Simon and Kerry went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience the best of the Coonawarra.

Kerrie was very knowledgeable and friendly. Taylored our tours to suit our wine preferences, we had a great afternoon, and even took us to the supermarket!

The perfect afternoon What a lovely way to spend a Friday afternoon. Kerry picked us up right on time and off we went in the comfort of her lovely spacious people carrier. She was fun to be around, full of knowledge and very easy to get along with. She was the Goldilocks of tour guides - not to little and not too much so just right!!! She was there to answer questions but also gave us plenty of space too. We would never have been able to see/do the region like we did without her. I definitely want to go back again and that was because of this great experience.

We loved our stay with Simon and Kerry and the wine tour we did was fun, informative and well worth doing. All the communication I had with Simon before we arrived was prompt and professional with all my questions answered. We were met on arrival with a bottle of wine and lovely cuvée chocolate and it is those little extras that made the whole experience so good. Very comfortable bed with quality bedding. A very well appointed bathroom, again high quality towels and toiletries. In the lounge/kitchenette was a microwave, decent size fridge and a good selection of crockery, cutlery etc. very happy to see a variety of good wine glasses and an Espresso machine! Really good value, accomodation exceeded expectations

Normally we take ourselves around cellar doors but so glad we decided to take the tour with Coonawara Experiences. We had such a good time. It was very personal and lots of fun. The lunch platter was lovely and meeting the people running the tastings was what really made it. Kerry and Simon are very obviously passionate about the Coonawara and the local produce. Book a tour with them, you won’t regret it.

Exceptional experience We had excellent hosts in Simon and Kerry for our accommodation. Simon made all our weekend bookings and arrangements flawlessly. We were well looked after at Mayura station thanks to Simon for putting us in good hands. Simon was extremely knowledgeable about the region, the people and the winery histories. He also provided lots of laughs as he drove us from door to door.

Lovely Accommodation within 2mins walking of town. Kerry and Steve are perfect hosts they also run an amazing tours of the wineries.

Kerry was so amazing and took very good care of us. We had wonderful experiences at each cellar door and Kerry shared a lot of her rich knowledge with us so we were able to better understand the region and its history. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting the region and we will have to make sure to come back and use Kerry and Simon again!

Simon was excellent & the tour of wineries in Coonawarra was perfect. The day was a memorable experience & we were taken to some unique & boutique places. We had the VIP treatment & Simon helped us move several cases of wine back to our accomodation. Simon offered us flexibility of where to go but we were happy to follow his advice of the tour. Lunch was included & the food was simply the highest standard which was a pleasant surprise considering we were on a wine tour. We would highly recommend this tour & the memories will last longer than the wine we purchased.

Outstanding Private Wine Tour Outstanding service and attention to detail from Simon. We had a private wine tour with our friends & the knowledge and care he had was amazing. He looked after us every step of the day and made sure we had the best experience we possibly could! Highly recommend Highly recommend Simon and Kerry for your Coonawarra and /or Limestone coast trip . They offer several standard torus but are also very happy to customize your experience just ask! We love wine and they helped us curate 2 amazing days of tastings with long lunches and then home again to Penola peppered with some local sights. Simon was extremely knowledgeable about the area and by the end of our two days we had a really great insight into the history and contemporary issues. This region is so much more tha wine and we can’t wait to return tp experience more the area has to offer with Simon and Kerry.

Cellar door tour An excellent tour taking in 4 top notch wineries in Coonawarra. Kerry the tour guide picked us up promptly from our motel. She was friendly and knowledgeable and clearly knew her stuff. We visited 4 very different cellar doors, the first providing a delicious food platter with the tasting. The day was unrushed and we had plenty of time at each venue to taste, ask questions and purchase. A great day and a great tour all round. Highly recommend.

Spent an afternoon in the delightful company of Simon exploring the wines of Coonawarra. He was a very knowledgeable, friendly host who personally knows the people behind the vineyards we visited. Totally relaxed tasting of a range of wines with no pressure to purchase. Highly recommended and well worth a diversion if in the area.

Best Day in The Coonawarra Fabulous day enjoying local wineries. Kerry was a fabulous host. We lucked into a great group of people who helped make the day. Kerry is very knowledgeable and ensured we were looked after at all the wineries we visited. Would recommend to anyone looking to use them.

Great wine tour for all Simon is a great wine tour host. He is knowledgeable and fun. He knows the locals and the area extensively. After enquiring about our preferences he made recommendations on which wineries and lunch venue to visit, which were perfect. Another great experience This was our second visit to the Coonawarra with Coonawarra Experiences.
Our tour was a private tour in a modern comfortable van.
Booking and planning was easy with Simon being very responsive to all of our requests. Our tour was over 2 days with the days tour being hosted by Kerry on the first day Simon on the second. Both were friendly and knowledgeable.
It’s obvious that Simon and Kerry are liked and respected by the wineries and restaurants ensuring that as tour guests we were given 5 star treatment throughout.
We were unable to stay in their accommodation on the first night but Simon arranged for nearby accommodation and then transferred us to their appartments. Their apartment is well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and modern, the bed comfortable and the kitchenette had all we needed. The bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival are a nice touch.
We have loved both our visits.

Coonawarra Experiences The overall experience we had was excellent. From the pick-up for our visit to Mayura Station for what can only be described as the most enjoyable experience, the food and wine was next level.
The following day, our tour of the Coonawarra Wine Region along with lunch at Ottelia was excellent.
Our host, Simon was a mine of information on the region and took the time to explain to us the history of the Coonawarra and its early inhabitants, all of which we both found of great interest.
The accommodation provided by Simon & Kerry was superb as was the Wine and chocolates..

Coonawarra Wine Tour We booked well in advance and the communication was always positive and timely, We needed some diet requirements to be catered for and Simon and Kerry were very helpful in ensuring this was catered for with useful checking messages. Kerry was very knowledgeable regarding the whole area and also all the different wineries. We had a very enjoyable experience and would happily return and ask Kerry for her help again!

Fabulous couple run tour experience! We're new to the tour experience and it was seamless. Simon and Kerry were very accommodating with a more bespoke time frame for each day as we have a special needs child. The transportation was very comfortable and they couldn't do enough to make our experience memorable. The two lunch venues were great. We even got the business class experience of refreshing wet towels when it was really humid one day. They take photos for you and send to you via email as part of the package, which let's you have everyone in group photo. Simon is a wine buff which is very handy for cellar door recommendations and knowledge about the local wineries and wines. We had a good old chat about wines in between stops. Can't recommend them enough.

Relaxing day out Just wanted to say if you want a relaxing day out at the wineries, then book this trip. To be able to sit back and relax and be looked after with lovely wines, great food and an informative drive was great. We were able to suggest where we would like to go before hand so it suited us. We altered our trip on the day due to it being a sunny day and wanting to sit outside and relax in the gardens at one of our stops, which was great advice from Simon. Thank you heaps Simon for being a great driver and your knowledge of the area was very informative.

Excellent wine tour of the Coonawarra wine region with knowlegable, friendly driver Simon. We did the afternoon tour with lunch. It was awesome. We discovered great wines and wineries, learned about the history of the region and had a magic afternoon all round.

I chose Coonawarra Experiences to take my 3 sisters and I around the region. We enjoyed our host Kerry, she was very knowledgeable of the region and we had lots of fun at the wineries we visited and the historic places she took us. A big thank you again Kerry.

The best wine tour experience. From the moment we were picked up from our accommodation to being dropped off we could not find fault with anything. We were even lucky enough to meet one of the winemakers and have a chat over a bottle of wine. The lunch at Otellia was delicious and they went out of their way to accommodate Gluten-free dietary requirements. A wonderful afternoon in Penola We randomly booked our half day tour in Penola with Coonawarra Experiences. We were very lucky to do so. Simon was our tour guide. He picked us up at our motel precisely on time. We visited several vineyards. Out first stop also served us a delightful lunch. Each winery were wonderful hosts and served us ample selections of their wines. Simon also showed us several places of interest in the delightful Penola. We could not have asked for a better guide than Simon. His personality - knowledge -and sheer enthusiasm and decency made our tour a life experience. We would recommend Simon and Coonawarra Experiences to anyone visiting the wonderful Coonawarra and Penola. Thank you Simon sincerely for such a delightful experience.

Excellent Wine Tour and Accomodation My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Penola and loved the wine tour with Kerrie. The range of wineries we visited was excellent, we managed to fit 6 wineries in the trip plus a delicious lunch. Accomodation was included and the apartment had everything we could have wanted. We will definitely use Coonawarra Experiences for another tour on our next visit to the area.

We stayed 2 nights here for our anniversary trip and had a wonderful time.
Simon took us to 4 wineries and they were all fantastic. We had the best steak at Mayura Tasting Room.

A quick trip to Coonawarra Simon and Kerry did a ripper job of accomodating us flying in privately to Coonawarra. We were greeted at the plane and taken straight to our accomodation and off to dinner. Followed the next day by a personalised tour of some big name wineries as well as some smaller hidden gems. We look forward to engaging their services again in the near future.

What a fantastic day tasting great wines and food in the Coonawarra Had an absolutely awesome day with Kerry who was our host as we visited some of the regions great and very friendly wineries. The staff in the wineries are second to none and the wines complement that. Lunch at Ottellia was a real highlight of the day long tour and well worth the extra cost. The spacing of the winery visits meant that we were never rushed and everyone in our group had the best of days.
