Fun and wholesome and delicious Absolutely loved fruit world. All the produce was delicious and the day was fun and wholesome. The animals were so cute and we loved how there was snacks along the trail and the boat ride.

Interesting place, great views but zip up your wallet. I visited as part of a coach tour with 40+ others, all of us retirees. I have no idea about the cost levied by Tropical Fruit World.

Our time at the site included a fruit tasting, tractor-hauled site tour with stops for banana and macadamia tasting, and lunch. There was plenty of time left for us to buy coffee, ice cream or seriously over-priced goods from the venue's shop.

The fruit tasting just OK. Everyone in our group received a small platter with segments of orange, mandarin, grapefruit, papaya, pineapple, avocado sprinkled with herbed salt and black sapote aka chocolate pudding fruit. The latter was the only one unknown to me. It was interesting but bland. The best (for me) segment was the avocado and herbed salt. It was delicious.

The farm tour was well worthwhile. The property is picturesque. We had brief introductions to large numbers of fruits I'd never heard of previously. Our guide was personable and interesting. When we stopped to sample bananas and macadamias, the bananas were fresh and delicious, so much sweeter than those we get in supermarkets in Sydney. There were lots of nut crackers available and plenty of time to crack and eat fresh macadamias.

Lunch comprised sandwiches, salad and herbed chips. The latter were the BEST chips ever!! Sandwiches (esp the garlicky poached chicken and spinach) were delicious. The salads were also very good. As well as a mixture of green leaves they included segments of cherry tomatoes, cucumber and diced beetroot. The dressing was subtle, delicious and did not overpower the salad.

The retail side of this property is very fully priced. It's worth buying items produced at Tropical Fruit World such as dried fruits and some of the herbed salts. Otherwise, it is just an over-priced tourist trap.

Was a great day out! We experienced the Tractor Farm Tour & Fruit Tasting (Includes: Farm Animals, Boat Ride, Island Area & Valley Visit). Our favourites was fruit tasting (so many wonderful new fruits), tranquil boat trip, farm animals and of course the tractor ride through the property.

Tropical Fruit World was one of the best family days out we've had. I was looking for somewhere different to take my young nephew while visiting Kingscliff, and this exceeded every expectation. We chose the guided tour option, which took around three hours and was fantastic value for money.

🥭 The Tour

The experience begins with an engaging fruit education and tasting session where you'll sample a huge variety of tropical fruits, along with delicious fresh guacamole while learning about the many different avocado varieties.

From there, you're taken on a tractor tour through the property, with informative commentary about the history of the farm and the different fruits grown throughout the plantation. Along the way we sampled fresh bananas straight from the farm and even had the opportunity to crack our own macadamias.

🦘 The Farm

The tour also includes time to explore the farm, where you'll find kangaroos, donkeys, sheep and other friendly animals before boarding a relaxing river cruise to a fantastic recreation area.

Originally created by the owner for his own grandchildren, it now features a playground, mini golf, a soccer course and a zip line, making it the perfect place for children to burn off some energy before heading back on the tractor.

💡 Good to Know

If you're a local resident, ask about the discounted entry. Instead of paying around $150 for the two of us, we paid approximately $95 because my nephew lives locally, making it even better value.

Before leaving, don't miss the farm market where you can purchase many of the fruits you've tasted, along with plants if you'd like to grow some at home.

A wonderfully educational, interactive and genuinely fun day out for all ages. Whether you're visiting the Tweed region or you're a local looking for something different, Tropical Fruit World is well worth adding to your list. We left with full stomachs, a boot full of fruit and plenty of great memories.

We did the full tour at Tropical Fruit World today and had the best time! We are holidaying in the area, and it has been the highlight of our trip. The tour included fruit tasting with lots of delicious fruits we'd never tried before, a tractor ride through the farm, cracking macadamia nuts, picking our own bananas, feeding the animals, and a boat ride down the river. The café food and ice cream was amazing too! The whole experience was fantastic value, and all of the guides and staff were so friendly, passionate, and informative. Everything is so well run, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The food was a real highlight. I highly recommend the burger at their restaurant, and the fresh fruit was absolutely delicious.

The staff were also friendly, polite, and always happy to help.

We didn't do the tour around the farm but we thoroughly enjoyed walking around marvelling at the variety of tropical fruits available at the stall. I have encouraged young family to visit to enjoy the tour and small playground available. The view across the road is stunning and well worth the walk, once parked and road safely check done

We loved it here! Staff were very informative with the fruit very friendly and very welcoming. We got to try some very delicious freshly grown fruit 😋 we also got to see a snake in the wild just hanging out which was very exciting.
We didn't get to do the tour but will revisit one day to do so.

We enjoyed visiting tropical fruit world today. We purchased everything on the farm to do, it wasnt cheap, costing $217 for 3 people, the tractor ride, boat ride, fruit tasting, and animal feeding and stop off at the island for 15 mins, stopped off to crack some macadamia and ate some bananas straight off the vine.The Cafe food was very good abit pricey but food was good and the views are nice. Picked up some sauces and honeycomb chocolate and dried fruit, avocados and many more. A pleasant day out, for anyone young or old. Well worth the visit.

Walked out We arrived planning to get lunch. The place was overrun. The Asian tourists were squeezing the avocados. There is no way I would buy anything.
I found the staff to be quite rude and the prices extremely high.

Also it should not have been open as per NSW rules on Anzac Day.

A Sweet & Scenic Tropical Escape We had a fantastic time at Tropical Fruit World! The tractor tour through the orchards was so relaxing, and tasting the unique exotic fruits was a real highlight. From cracking fresh macadamias to the delicious fruit ice cream, every moment was a treat. A wonderful, wholesome day out—highly recommended!

We had a fabulous day at Tropical Fruit World celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday. The weather was absolutely stunning, with clear skies and amazing views across the beautiful landscape.

The farm was extremely well presented and the staff could not have been more helpful. From the friendly welcome by Layla to the very knowledgeable fruit presentation by Ali, everything was handled so well. We were on the 10.20 am tour, and both the tractor driver and boat driver were also excellent.

The range of fruit to taste was incredible, and it was such a treat to try some new varieties, including mama sapote and cha cha, which I think may be a new favourite, along with the superb avocado and dragon fruit. It was a great to taste the fruit before going on the farm tour, as it made it even more interesting to then see what the fruit looked like growing on the trees.

I had been a little concerned about accessibility and toilet facilities, especially as we were celebrating with my mum, but there was no need to worry at all. Staff kindly offered a step if Mum needed a helping hand getting onto the tractor, although she was able to get on and off easily without assistance. Access to the boat was also very manageable, with only a couple of steps and good handholds. The toilets were extremely clean, well maintained, and available at all the main stops throughout the park.

The boat cruise was especially peaceful and meditative, winding around the island on a small canal where we saw a snake-necked duck and even turtles entering the water. The final stop on the island was also fantastic, with plenty for children to enjoy including a playground, flying fox, basketball, putt-putt, and a small informative fruit tree walk.

It was an amazing day, with perfect weather and a wonderful overall experience. Highly recommended.

Great place, highly recommend to visit. A lot of fruits to try on the tasting part, and almost unlimited banana and macadamia eat. Tour guide was also very good. The only issue - prices at the shop are quite high, 14$ ice cream is a bit over the top

We first visited last year and just knew we’d have to come back again this year.

The place is fantastic for all ages, but our little one loves it. Trying all of the new and exotic fruits, the tractor ride and a delicious cafe to refuel.

All of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Good activity to do when in Australia It is a fun and enjoyable activity when visiting Australia. It is amazing to see them grow tropical fruits commonly found in Asia. The fruit tasting is informative though the fruit seems to be leftover from previous group. Staff were friendly and helpful. Best part was cracking and eating fresh macadamias. Tastes so much better than the packed ones from supermarket.

Tropical Fruit World in Northern NSW is a really interesting place to visit. The exotic fruits on display are numerous & varied. The range of available products is, too, wide ranging and interesting. The cafe serves a good range of foods to accompany a nice coffee. 10 out 10.

Recommend for families Recommended for wholesome family fun. The farm tour was interesting and engaging, and our small children had a lovey little time feeding the farm animals. The fruit tasting was fun and the little ones found some new favourite fruits which was a bonus! The cafe was clean and food was very nice. I recommend the jackfruit nachos.

Amazing asset and history, but avoid the tasting tour. This place is a true gem with an amazing story behind it—it’s clearly a great asset to the area. However, the actual experience was quite stressful. The tasting was a shambles; the groups were far too large, leading to poor management where we (and others) were left with scraps. There is a lack of signage or guidance on-site re tour and tasting and meant merging with another large group for tasting experience. Was an experience we would have loved to have avoided.To make matters worse, I emailed my concerns directly and never received a reply. This could be an incredible 5-star destination with better organization, but the current lack of some structure ruined the visit for us.

Had a great morning with the Grandie down at Tropical Fruit World - 25kms south of the QLD border at Duranbah in NSW.
Did the full 2 hour tour involving a ride on a trailer pulled by a tractor starting with a great intro to unusual tropical fruits & tasting, then tractor farm tour, then farm animal feeding, a boat ride and finally another tractor ride.
During the tour there was also a stop where we tried bananas and cracked open macadamias - a real fun experience for the kiddo who reckons he ate 29!
Everything was great, very kid friendly and definitely worth the money. Could've done with a bit more playtime on the island for the kids
The cafe's barista scored 0 out of 10 for our pre tour long blacks which we couldn't drink! But the food offerings at lunchtime were excellent - toasted jackfruit Reuben was delish as was the Black Sapote cake.
The fresh fruit icecream was huuuge but superb!
The fruit stall was reasonably priced & we walked away happy with some A Cha Chas & Momey Sapote.

Tropical Fruit World is a must-visit.
The fruit tastings are excellent, with a wide range of tropical fruits you won’t find in supermarkets, all explained clearly by knowledgeable staff. You really get an understanding of flavour, texture, and how each fruit is meant to be enjoyed.
The café is just as impressive — fresh, well-made food, great smoothies and juices, and a strong focus on quality produce. There’s also plenty of fruit and local products to take home.
Educational, relaxed, and genuinely delicious. Highly recommended. 🍍🌿

We booked the whole thing, including the playground stop (that had good decent lemon myrtle tea!), river ride, animal feeding and exotic fruit tasting.

Our guide Zen was chatty and knowledgeable on the fruits TFW grows + the animals it houses (loved Shannon the donkey 🫏, their oldest resident!). We had perfect weather to do this tour as well, not too sunny nor rainy, but just right and cloudy. Plus, we did not have many people on the tractor (I believe only 15 or so) which was relatively peaceful.

I will say that the let-down were the exotic fruits - definitely not something we would eat again, but it’ll be nice to say we’ve had it.

Anywho, we are definitely coming back to buy some more things, especially the lemon Myrtle plant, as it was sold out when we came 🥲.

We did the full tour with the pre tour tasting, boat ride and animal feeding. Everything was great, very kid friendly and definitely worth the money. The highlights were tasting edible flowers and fruits during the tour, plus the second stop where we tried bananas and cracked open macadamias.

The only thing I’d change is spending more time on the actual farm tour rather than the boat and zoo, and having more tastings straight from the trees instead of at the tasting hall to get more of that farm feel.

We booked the full farm tour and it was worth it. Good experience for the whole family. My personal fave is the fruit tasting part - they provided us with a good selection of tropical fruits and dips/sauces to try. Our tour guide, Kea, was lovely and has the most serene voice ever. Her voice plus the movement of the tractor made my baby feel so relax he fell asleep. This experience is definitely worth it.

A great outing if you would like to taste some excellent different fruits you can't buy from a supermarket or green grocer. Lovely and friendly guides that tell you about the 500+ fruit grown and cultivated on the farm known for it's volcanic soil.

We went just before lunch hour so our group was smaller which was great, less crowding. Our guide was hilarious and super-friendly but didn’t catch his name. Team were all so knowledgeable about the history, fruit and even had back stories/info on the animals on the farm. Highly recommend.

Tour guide Andrew made this a truly memorable experience 11 of us (adults and children) came together to do the new Walking Tour for our friend's birthday. It was PERFECT! Andrew was our guide and his knowledge was matched by his passion for the environment and the history behind the farm and its thousands of trees. We all loved tasting the fruit and exploring the farm on foot. The staff also went above and beyond to organise a cupcake and candle for us to celebrate our friend at the end of the tour!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Tropical Fruit World with the kids. Our tour guides, Mark and Ben, were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The highlight for the kids was definitely feeding the farm animals such a memorable part of the tour!

We also loved tasting the exotic fruits, with a nice pit stop for fresh banana snacks and crunchy macadamias. The refreshing lemon myrtle tea was a great touch.

Although we had to cut our visit short to catch a flight, Mark kindly arranged a buggy for us, which was greatly appreciated.

Overall, it was a superb experience, highly recommended for families. We’d love to visit again!

Excellent family experience My family and I visited here today. I can only say, wow! We had an excellent time. With a great fruit tasting, then an excellent informative tour with another stop to crack some macadamia nuts and walk around, then a bot tor with another stop at a playground for the kids. Even the young ones didn’t get bored. A delicious lunch after. All in all, great value for money, good humoured staff, we had a terrific day.

We’ve been visiting The Big Avocado—now known as Tropical Fruit World—for years, and it continues to be a unique and enjoyable experience. However, it’s essential to book in advance, as driving hours to get there without a reservation could mean missing out on the full tour experience.

One major disappointment is that they no longer offer local pricing for Gold Coast residents. This change is really disheartening, especially for loyal visitors who have supported the attraction over the years, which is a real shame.

That said, we still highly recommend visiting Tropical Fruit World. There’s an amazing variety of exotic fruits, friendly farm animals, a fun boat ride, and an informative fruit show.

The staff made the experience both fun and educational. Especially the truck driver and the fruit show host, were super friendly and knowledgeable. Even though the truck driver was 10 minutes late.

The only letdown was the mango ice cream—I was really looking forward to trying it. They offer a lovely experience where the staff make custom ice cream by blending your chosen fruit with vanilla ice cream on the spot. But when I asked for mango, the lady said they had run out… in the middle of the day… on a fruit farm. It was surprising and a bit disappointing, especially considering how iconic mangoes are to the experience.

Wonderful experience at Tropical Fruit World We visited Tropical Fruit World for the first full tour of the day and it was a full sensory experience! The tasting room was so beautiful with fruit of many colors that dazzled the eye. The presenter, I believe his name was Zed, described each of the nine fruits, homemade guacamole from fresh avocados, and five jams we were about to sample. He detailed not only the tastes we would encounter, but also its history, where it was found in the world, as well as its health or medicinal benefits. I loved the jam native to the area, Davidson's plum, which was a bit sourish tasting. We could also pick leaves from lemon myrtle branches, which smelled lovely and are said to ward off mosquitoes when rubbed on the skin. It also tasted delicious mixed in my water bottle.

Next, Stewart took us around the farm. He was a wealth of knowledge, and told us the history of the area. He described the farm, and as we drove by them, all about its fruits and the different sections of them. He is a chef by trade and really seemed to appreciate the fruit as well as other food grown on the farm, such as the macadamia nuts. Everyone loved cracking them open at one particular stop, where many of us also enjoyed a banana. It was warm enough for the Australian native honeybees to emerge from their boxes in that area as well!

We had additional stops at the farm to visit the animals as well as the island (which the kids loved) and a pleasant short boat ride on the river. I saw a beautiful kingfisher there!

Stewart really made the trip special. He seemed to be knowledgeable about everything there and clearly loved giving tours!

When we returned, I also spoke with Christian, another friendly staffer. He knew all about the farming methods used, and I believe he was studying to learn more about agriculture, as well as fruit and other foods native to Australia. I loved how Christian and others were so passionate about fresh, local fruit! All in all, a great place to visit!

I took my daughter and we had a really nice time. The fruit was lovely, and the staff were friendly. I had a few problems with other people visiting, maybe due to tour busses etc. But so many people pushed in and rushed to be first in line, first in their seats, first to be served, first at everything. I personally felt like the staff were too chill and let a lot of people miss out because they didn't notice so many people being rude. Some more observations from staff members and reading the room and everyone on their tour so we all had a nice time is something that could help the experience for each group.

Such a fun day! My little ones and I had a beautiful day exploring the farm, the tractor ride tour was such a great and informative experience. Fruit tasting was delish! Carol, our tour guide on the day, was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable.. we loved the local stories! The farm is truly inspirational and understanding more about the vision and evolution from where it begun makes it that much more special.

We went on the 2hr farm tour and it was definitely worth it! Fantastic going through the farm on the tractor pulled transport! The boat ride was amazing, the kids really enjoyed this. Feeding the animals was so great, they got to feed sheep, donkeys, calves, kangaroos and goats. The fruit tasting was lovely & really great to experience.

A very happy day Our 3, 5 and 7 year old grandchild enjoyed their time at Tropical Fruit World as did we. Whilst not cheap it is definitely value for money. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. I was very impressed with the food available at the Cafe for the children. There was the usual chicken or fish with chips, there was also the choice of a sandwich which came served with avocado dip, crackers, carrot and cucumber sticks as well as cubes of cheese. This is the only Cafe I have come across that offers a nutritious meal for children - cost $12.
My only complaint would be that we had to sit through 'Acknowledgement to Country' before the fruit tasting.

A worthwhile visit Welcoming, friendly staff. The tour was very interesting and informative too. The fruit tasting and tractor/ boat ride had something for everyone including a playground for the kids.

A great way to spend some time As a born and bred Gold Coaster, almost ashamed to say it's taken me so long to finally make it to Tropical Fruit World! We used to drive past the old Avocado Land all the time, but are glad we finally got there - and if you have little people, it's a great time for them too.
The tropical fruit tasing, growing nursery, tractor tour, nut cracking, petting zoo and boat road are great value for the entry price.
And I managed to come away with my own Lemon Myrtle tree and Vanilla bean vine.
Highly recommended - and don't forget to finish with the ice-cream of frozen fruit!

We had the absolute pleasure of doing a private tour of Tropical Fruit World in the beautiful hinterland of Duranbah recently, and found the whole experience amazing. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by the friendly team, spending time in the gift store sampling some of the great products made on site. This was accompanied by detailed information shared by the lovely and enthusiastic Layla, who showed off her knowledge explaining the benefits of each. Suffice to say we came away with many goodies and now feel well equipped to fight off winter colds, sleep more soundly, and add a new level of taste to our dishes back at home. We set off in the luxury of our private buggy to explore the farm. What can we say about the tour itself other than how enjoyable and insightful it was. We were lucky enough to see the farm through the eyes of Blair our passionate guide, albeit this doesn't do him justice as he was more of a guru!. There were four in our party and we started with a Fruit tasting lovingly prepared with finesse by Ashley. The selection of fruits were from origins all over the world most of which we had not heard of before, let alone ever tried. As we devoured each morsel Blair talked us through some of the therapeutic benefits each Fruit contains which was nothing short of mind blowing. We meandered our way through passages and paths not frequented by the general tour so we feel lucky to have made the most of this bespoke and private experience. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, special and unique, and highly insightful, this it.

This was so well organised and more than what I was expecting. The day started with fruit tasting and fun facts followed by a tour around the farm by wheels and a boat. The place is just beautiful and so well kept. Definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful farm with a huge variety of fruits but the tour + tasting have a lot of room for improvement from our experience. We were recommended during the tour by a guide that coming off peak season is better but the amount of people there was not really part of the issue. If you're holding a maximum group size tour then you should have this facilitated to always handle that group size.

The actual location is beautiful and the orchards are well set up with many different varieties of fruit. The shop and cafe are set up nicely and the bathrooms were all clean and accessible.

The tour started with a tasting and for the size of our group it felt very rushed for those sitting at the back. By the time we had our turn to fill our plates and sit down to eat, they were telling us we had a few minutes before we needed to get to the tractors. This meant those at the front had 15-20 minutes to enjoy their tasting and relax in the kids play area and we had 5 minutes to cram all the fruit in and wash hands. They said we could buy the jam and what not but we didn't even have time to do that. The fruit was okay, all pretty typical flavours but I guess it was also hard to enjoy due to the rush.

The tractor ride was fun and the staff were very knowledgeable. The speakers were a bit too loud but it was a fun ride through the orchards. We had a pit stop to try some canvendish bananas and crack some macadamias, however the macadamias aren't from the farm, they actually outsource these so it was a bit weird to use them as a product in the tour instead of using something they actually grow there. Also would have been nice to try a different banana variety since Cavendish isn't really an experience to behold.

The boat cruise was a bit pointless, nice but just nothing to see and not much wildlife along the river. Saw two birds and a couple of turtles but was a bit boring. Not sure where they could improve this but it definitely needs a spruce up.

We only had 10-15 minutes on the island to play so you could pick one of the listed activites to have enough time to enjoy it but you're competing with everyone else on the island so wasn't really enough time to do anything. We barely managed to get through the putt putt course in the time allowed.

Obviously my opinion doesn't really matter since a lot of people have a good time here but I think if they wanted to improve this tour then either holding the fruit tasting at the end when there's a bit more time to get everyone through, or completely over hauling the tasting experience would make this much more enjoyable. It would have been a million times better if they had pre prepped tasting plates with each variety, handed these out to everyone at the start and then went through each fruit explaining its origin, flavours and uses so that you can learn about the fruit and everyone can enjoy at the same pace. The amount of fingers that touched all the fruit because they hadn't put tongs out until halfway through was concerning. We also couldn't see anything that the presenter was talking about at the start because the seating is all one level. One guy just kept picking a fruit to put on his plate and then changing his mind, putting it back and picking another. I think he did this 5 times before finally settling on a piece. Please have the tasting plates set up before hand so that we aren't sifting through other people's finger germs and getting 5 minutes to eat.

Overall I think with some tweaks to the programs timing, managing smaller group sizes, or overhauling the taste testing, then they would be able to provide an amazing tour that will really wow people. They have amazing staff, a beautiful farm and great fruit so just a little consulting in improving their tasting program would go a huge way for the guests experience.

The fruit platter was delicious and the guide very informative.
The farm tour was awesome and we learnt so much. I came away with a long list of trees I want to plant in my own garden lol.
We really enjoyed the boat ride and feeding the farm animals on the tour.
The Cafe had really nice food and the fruit shop was reasonably priced.
I'd highly recommend Tropical Fruit World as a family or couple day out.

We had the best 2.5 hours today touring around Tropical Fruit World. Great tour guides with a world of knowledge about plants and trees grown on the property, great fruit tasting, a variety of food items and fruit to purchase from including the fruit market stall. Tea/ hot chocolate, coffee and food available from the cafe. Also, not to mention home made ice cream from the tropical fruit of your choice.

Plan your day around Tropical Fruit World and surrounding country towns. You'll LOVE the tours, so make sure you book in for THE WORKS! Boat and tractor tours were informative and very interesting. The Tropical Fruit tasting was the best!

Did I mention, our tour guide was amazing filling us in on all the history behind this amazing Fruit World? I was surprised about all the new things I learnt on the tours.

Great for the whole family! The fruit tasting was incredible, the tractor ride was interesting and informative, the boat ride and animal feeding was fun and it the cafe/gift shop are amazing! We all thoroughly enjoyed our day at Tropical Fruit World! Thanks for a great adventure!

First time visit Fantastic day out with lots of activity variation for both adults and children alike. Definitely one for the bucket list. Good value.

A wonderful Visit to Tropical Fruit World & Northern New South Wales I made my very first flight to northern NSW from Sydney over the Christmas 2024 break to stay with a friend who lives in Ocean Shores. I have never really wanted to go up that way, primarily because I didn't think there would be much to see .plus being a Kiwi, I am beyond paranoid about slithery, crawling critters.
Well, how wrong was I! I never saw one cockroach or any slitheries, I see more cockroaches near my apt in Sydney!

This whole region is stunningly beautiful, although the low lying tributaries give an insight into the occasional floods within the region.

We visited some gorgeous towns:
Thoroughly enjoyed Tweed Heads, then over the border to Coolangatta in Queensland, fab shopping but I do not know why they have a 1hr behind time difference?, Byron Bay, beautiful beach but I personally found the township too trendy and soulless. We also visited a hugely popular, fabulous pub at Billinudgel, had a great lunch at the RSL in Ballina, more great shopping, and my favourite town was Mullumbimby. This place with it's wide roads, quite common in Australian country towns, is an absolute treasure. It has the most fabulous Op Shops and quirky but classy shops.

But one of the absolutely fabulous places we visited was Tropical Fruit World at Duranbah. This place is an incredible gem and all totally unexpected. My friend and I had booked the Full Farm Tour but didn't really know what to expect. We had a tractor ride around the massive acreage, then a farm tour of baby animals topped off with the most fantastic river cruise through beautiful trees and wildlife. Heavens it was pure magic and the commentary was so informative. It was all finished off with a superb tasting of fruits in season.

You don't have to worry about bathrooms, there are plenty. Also everyone is so friendly and super helpful up this region.

This was one truly magical day, the children absolutely loved it, you could see everyone was so absorbed with the scenery and relaxed.

Fun for a young family We were very impressed with the value for money and our 6 year old loved the tractor ride, boat cruise and animal farm. Most places are ridiculously over priced so I feel this farm has considered families. It was enjoyable to learn about the fruits and try them and we stopped on the tractor ride to taste fresh banana off the vine and crack fresh macadamia nuts, delicious 💚

One of the best family activity I have ever had at Tropical Fruit World. You get what you pay is exactly happening here. A lot of activities for the kids and adults.

The place is located at the top of the mountain just off the M1 15 minutes inland. Ticket prices are $59 for adults. Kids under 4 years old free.

We started the day with feeding the cows with bananas, sugar canes and other stuff. After that, potting plants activity. Then, Tropical Fruit tasting and travel with tractor in the farm. They said they have more than 560 different tropical fruits.

After that, we stop at the top of the mountain to taste bananas and crack the fresh macadamia nuts. Then head to feed more animals like sheep, chickens, donkey and kangaroos.

Then, we jumped into the boat to travel on the small river. We disembark near the island. Kids play area and lemon water tasting at the island. Then, tractors take you back to entrance again.

There is also a cafeteria and souvenir shop right near the information office.

It was such a unforgettable memory with my kids and wife.
