Best bike hire in Clare - such a fun experience Although we hadn’t ridden a bike for years, we hired the Rover e-bikes to ride the Riesling Trail. The bikes were in great condition and the padded seats were a godsend. This was our first time on an e-bike, so we were a little apprehensive, but no need- we were given clear instructions and great recommendations at Scoot, and picked it up in no time. We would throughly recommend Scoot the Valley to all our friends and family- it was so much fun.

Super smooth rental experience, we got electric bikes which were very easy to get the hang of! The Riesling Trail was beautiful and we had a nice wine tasting at Seven Hill

We had a fabulous day. The bikes were fun, they were friendly and not too stressed about our slightly late drop off time. The bikes made it easy to get up the hill to Paulette wines, and the trail is beautifully maintained.

We hired a couple of e-bikes from here to ride the Riesling Trail. We went from their branch in Clare to Auburn and back again. We’re glad we had the e-bikes as the ride back from Auburn along the trail seemed like a long continuous upward hill.
The bikes were in good condition and ideal for the trip.

We hired 2 e-bikes from here to cycle the Riesling Trail. All of the staff we met were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The bikes were fantastic. We were glad we had hired the e-bikes as there are some quite deceptively long inclines in both directions along the trail. Great value for money too. Highly recommended. Thanks very much.

Bike were convenient to book online or you could even call up and book. Very informative when collecting the bike and made for a great day out on the bikes for the first time we were on the Reisling Trail.

Bike hire for the day $70 each with helmets, a lock and bottle of water each - we got to do all of the Riesling Trail and some of the Rattler Trail with very little effort and throughly enjoyed our day.

Super easy to ride, lots of fun and very easy trails to follow and enjoy the surrounds. We also had the pleasure of meeting some of the locals along the trail that were doing maintenance along the track which gave us even more history about Clare and the Riesling Trail.

Everything along the trail is well sign posted and a number of options on the map provided to stop for coffee, lunch or wine tasting. Great day out.

What a fun day we had on the Primo e-bikes from Scoot! The Riesling Trail makes a day on the bike such a wonderful experience - trees, birds, animals and winery after winery! The bikes were excellent and super easy to use. Highly recommended!

A side bag was great to hold a few wine bottles (although one either side of hubbies bike might have been better since he bought quite a few bottles lol)

We had a variety of e-bikes from Scoot the Valley and managed to ride from Auburn to Claire, with a few off-trail excursions to various wineries, without any problems. Service was outstanding!! Great bike hire!! We used the e-bikes, which I would definitely recommend as the Riesling Trail has quite a few hills/off-road sections, which the bikes were super helpful with. Orientation of how to use the bikes / safety was really helpful, and they provided a very useful map and many recommendations. Service was incredible, and easy to organise everything! E-biking the Clare Valley is a life-changing experience! Thomas of Scoot the Valley made our e-biking adventure in the Clare Valley one of the highlights of our trip. The e-bikes were the nicest we have ever rented, and Thomas got us fully prepared for our two-day tour up and down the Riesling Trail. It was great being able to rent the bikes for two days, rather than having to pick up and return the bikes each day. Until this experience, we had no idea just how beautiful the Clare Valley is and how world-class the wines are. From Grosset to Pikes to Jim Barry to Kilikanoon for wine, and amazing lunch spots like Skilogalee and Paulett’s, e-biking the Riesling Trail in the Clare Valley is life-affirming and an absolute must if you visit the region. We loved our time on the Riesling Trail with Scoot the Valley e-bikes! They are walking distance from town and check in and understanding how they worked was easy. This was our first time riding e-bikes and we had an absolute ball - had we known we would have both hired the Rover as it was easier/ lighter / faster to ride than the Class X that the wife had - we swapped bikes and it was harder going but did not dampen our day at all - highly recommend!

Big range of new and very comfortable e-bikes. Easy to use with big, powerful batteries that will get you up and down the Riesling Trail all day without much effort and with power to spare. Great if you’re in Clare but Thomas will also deliver the bikes to other parts of the valley and collect them for a small charge if you get them for more than one day. Which we did, and I’d recommend, to get the most out of the trail and the many wineries and eateries that are open. Great experience.

We had an awesome time out on the ebikes today. Walked in with no booking, and we were very quickly setup and ready to go, thanks to the helpful staff. We had several of the newer Dirodi bikes, which were excellent. The rover (pictured) is for sure one of my favourite ebikes now - definitely worth a go if you're after something a little different!

Best way to enjoy the Reisling Trail. Highly recommended! What a fantastic day! The snazzy e-bike made my 48km ride on the Reisling Trail an absolute breeze and so much fun overtaking my partner on his regular bicycle Thomas gave expert advice about the right bike for me, and that made all the difference. His recommendations of which wineries to visit were spot on. We had a wonderful day, and the time flew by too quickly. Highly recommend Scoot the Valley with their great bikes, great advice, and great prices.

Excellent location approximately 8kms from the Clare end of the start of the Riesling Trail. We were able to zip straight down the road (literally the same road) to Mr Mick Cellar door and continue from there.
Fantastic service by Thomas!!! Called up in the morning to book and within an hour we were ready to go with instructions and a water bottle! If you can't get your bike back, they will collect it for you from whatever winery you are at for a small charge - just need to call them to make sure they are available for pick up.
We hired the rover e-bike, which I would certainly get again. Super comfortable bike which was very easy to use on the trail! Highly recommend Scoot the Valley. Fantastic service and the rover e-bike was great! If we ever come to Clare we will be booking again with these guys 100%.

Great day out. Thomas was very helpful and got us going quickly even though we were spur of the moment customers. Easy to book via the website. The bikes were in good condition- we did 68kms over the day by leaning into the pedals a bit and only using the motor sparingly, but they rocket up the hills with little effort if you are prepared to chew through the battery and stay closer to Clare. Lots of great spots to visit, and the rail trail is in good condition for a ride. Scoot is only a few blocks back from the road - the google map reference is correct (look for the bike rack). Highly recommend it.

Easy e-bike trail ride Fantastic day out on an e-bike thanks to Danielle. The day was warm and some of the winery detours were hilly so the e bike was perfect. Helmet, Water and snack in basket to keep us sustained between wine tasting stops. Bikes easy to handle and charge lasted full day no problem.
Biking on the trail is safe as it is naturally socially distant, out doors and equipment cleaned after each use. Highly recommend this experience.
