A VIP Equestrian Winery Experience. A private guided trail ride hosted by Olympian Megan Jones through our picturesque vineyards followed by a private wine lunch with Megan in The Glass Room for a food and wine tasting journey in your very own luxury space.

Arrive to be greeted by Megan Jones (Silver medal Olympian, Equestrian Hall of fame member, Dual Olympian, World championship Medallist in Aachen Germany) and the Hallmark Farm team, then get fitted with helmets all while getting to know the horses by the hitching rail. All horses are specifically selected based on your needs from seasoned steeds of the famous Hallmark Farm in Woodside owned by Megan and husband James Deacon.

After the briefing and any questions you will saddle up and perform some basic manoeuvres while supported by Megan, then set off for approximately 45 mins guided trail ride around a designated course. There will be opportunities to stop for photos and some magnificent hills and vineyard views along the way as Megan and team will provide commentary on the site and her story.

After returning your steed to the hitching rail for some rest, photos and a brush down, you will proceed to the Petaluma Glass Room for an private and intimate lunch and wine experience hosted by Megan and team, where you can hear about Megan’s amazing equestrian journey and triumphs and see her Olympic and world championship medals. The Glass Room is named after the stunning ceiling installation of 540 wine glasses that have been carefully placed to resemble the rolling contours of the Adelaide Hills, complementing the views of our neighbouring vineyards.

Chat to Megan about her experiences at 2 Olympic Games and world championships and travelling horses around the world and also her current plans to represent Australia at the next world championships and Olympic Games. Photos, autographs are encouraged and merchandise will be available to purchase
on the day.

This very special experience allows you to enjoy the best wines from the Petaluma, Bay of Fires, Eddystone Point and Croser portfolios that are only available to try through this exclusive experience. Generous serves of wine all matched with a three-course tasting menu from Woodside Providore, highlighting the stunning produce available right here in the Adelaide Hills

Dietary requests will be subject to availability from our partners at Woodside Providore. Please identify those in the booking details.

All guests will have exclusive access to purchase wines at special prices.

Please note: The horse-riding component is operated by our trusted partner and requires signing a liability waiver. Terms and conditions apply.
