Great tour. plan for a long night. Tour guide was EXCELLENT. Very knowledgeable.

However, it was more sitting in the van time than we anticipated. This is nothing to do with the tour guide himself (he was extremely kind and a great person to hike with), but we wish we were more aware of the nature of the outing before we went. We were the first picked up
And the last to be dropped off an extra hour on each end of a van speeding around Sydney was not appreciated. Glow worms were cool but we could not wait to get out of the van. It was just too long of a night driving for the minimal time spent in the cave.

Cool Glow Worm experience. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The cave and waterfall were spectacular with the glow worms. Trek in fairly easy. It is up hill coming back so be prepared and maybe bring walking stick if needed I have short legs so some steps a little big for me. My daughter’s found it easy and loved it. So cool to see.

Glow worm experience It was really awesome getting to see the glow worms in their natural habitat, as well as learning so much about them! Our guide was very informative and knew a lot about the local flora and fauna, and taught about them during the hike.

Both worms and Antoine were cool Great tour! Antoine was very knowledgeable about the area and about the glow worms. He is also a very straightforward guy — you need something, you ask him. It’s about 1.5 hours to the hiking trail. It was about a 30 min downhill hike in and 40 min uphill hike out. It was pretty muddy and slippery when we went, so I recommend actual hiking shoes.
The worms were incredible! They really look like stars in the night sky. They show up on the blue light the best, but red light hurts them the least. This was a truly unique experience, and I highly recommend it if you’re in Sydney!

Amazing one of a kind experience I took the glow worm cave tour and was extremely happy with the entire experience. Antonine (the guide) was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience that much better. It was nice how I was picked up from my hotel and driven to the location. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience- it was so cool to see the glow worms up close and to hear all of the information about them. When you turn your light off you see all these points of light some are tinted green or blue as well. Antoine was our guide, he was a wealth of knowledge but also gave us time in the silence to take it in. We had as much time as we wanted to stay in the cave. We took photos but they do not do it justice, you have to experience the moment. Antoine provided professional photos by messaging if we wanted them. The walk has steps and does require mobility. He was careful and concerned about our safety. He provides many other wilderness experiences and I hope to do a different tour with him.

Myself and my wife had a really good experience at the glow worm mountains with Antoine. He was very knowledgeable and experience in what he was doing. Was very friendly and easy going so made all the people on the journey feel welcomed and part of a team. Would recommend anyone to try this out if you are visiting Sydney.

Spectacular Glow Worm Experience After developing a mutual fascination with glowworms in New Zealand last December, my partner and I knew we HAD to make sure we saw them on our trip to Australia as well; and the Blue Mountains Hiking Glow worms Cave Wildlife Spotlighting Night Adventure was absolutely perfect! Unsure of exactly what to expect, we were thrilled to hear Antoine’s guarantee that we 100% would see glowworms and he definitely did not disappoint – we were graced with the most spectacular show of glowworms up-close and personal; they truly looked like stars lighting up the night sky. Though very different from our experience in NZ, we loved getting the chance to see them up close in ways we were only able to see them previously via photos. Antoine was able to show us in detail everything we remembered learning/hearing in NZ but hadn’t been able to see for ourselves. The hike to and from the viewing site was much easier (and fun) than anticipated, although it was wet and would likely have made it somewhat challenging for someone with ambulatory issues. Antoine was an amazing guide, sharing his breadth of knowledge about the glowworms while maintaining a fun and safe environment. Even if this is your first time even hearing the term glowworm, we both would 100% recommend this experience!

Recommended Experience! The tour was well organized and we did see a lot of glow worms! Our guide was also very knowledgable (and very friendly) and explained alot about glow worms and other animals that we were able to see as well as the blue mountains themselves.

Amazing eco tourism experience! Out of the world experience. Being transported under a galaxy of stars- glow worms in their natural site. A true eco- tourism experience. Our guide Antoine was highly informative and friendly throughout the tour. I did this with my 11 year old and we both thought it was one of the best hikes / experience we had!

The hike through the forest at night was a real experience in itself, but the glow worm cave was a very special highlight. A special experience to the wondrous world of how worms and the Blue Mountains We had fun right from the start, as Antione used his humour whilst he provided a brief with instructions to keep us all safe and able to enjoy the trek.
He was very informative, took the time to explain the life of the glow worms and how we, the weather and environment affect the glow worms.
On our way back, he took the time to share his knowledge about the plants that we can use as food, flavouring and also for cleaning.
Our kids have excitedly told everyone about their experience.
We also saw an eel, possum and funnel web, but we were safe.
The caves were illuminated by the glow worms, as if you were looking up at a night sky filled with stars. Just beautiful and serene.

I had a wonderful experience camping in a eucalyptus forest. Antoine is fun and knows everything about the forest and wildlife. It was interesting to learn some survival techniques too. He is also a great cook! Thank you Antoine!

We would give Antoine 5 plus stars if it was an option! We loved our excursion experience with him!! We spent the day sight seeing in the Blue Mountains and then hiked to see the glow worms that evening. We were so excited for both of these experiences and were not disappointed in either one. A great way to see the country side The tour was far better than we ever expected. Antoine is a knowledgeable friendly and enjoyable guide. Being a private tour, he worked with us every step of the way to make it our adventure. We spent as much time as we needed wherever we went. The 4x4 excursion was excellent and went to spots we never would have gone on our own. Want to see more than just the city, this is it.

We did the glow worm tour in the Blue Mountains with Antoine as our guide. We had a fantastic time and got to see so many glow worms light up the cave. I went on a Wildscape Tour with my girlfriend to see the Glow Worm caves near Sydney and it was an amazing experience! Firstly there are only a few places in the world with glow worms and this is pretty close to civilazation so its easy to get to. There are several places to see glow worms near Sydney and Antoine will poll the team depending on their comfort level and abilites.

Antoine is a fantastic tour guide and is super knowledgeable. As cool as the glow worms are, you honestly just kinda look at them for ~20 min and then you're good. It's really the info that Antoine gives along the way that makes this tour awesome.

To me, this was not strenuous in the least, but I'm an avid Spelunker, backpacker, and hiker. You will certainly need to hike and move around, so if you cannot do that, don't make everyone else suffer with you.

What an incredible experience - UNMISSABLE! Definitely our best experience in Sydney!
We booked with Antoine for a day+night tour, after landing in Sydney just the previous evening. I was a little apprehensive as my family had people aged 8 -75, with varying fitness levels.
In a tour that was 11 hours long from start to finish, we touched a Koala and fed Wallabies at Featherdale Wildlife Park), walked around the 3 sisters (at a point when it wasn’t crowded), fed cockatoos, hiked down to a waterfall and sat atop rocks at the very top of a mountain looking at incredible views while munching on sandwiches,
The glow worm tour was sooo much more than what we thought it would be - we saw a sugar glider, a yabby, the web of a funnel web spider. Antoine even showed us how to make soap out of acacia wattle.
And the glowworms were an unforgettable experience - like standing in under a cave of stars behind a waterfall.
Antoine was considerate, funny, warm and incredibly knowledgable. We felt very safe even in the dark with two older people, as he walked ahead, and carried so much safety gear.
I can honestly say that Antoine’s tour is one in a million - if you want to see the blue mountains, don’t miss this tour! It’s literally like the experiences of 3 days rolled into one!

Excellent and beautiful tour! Seeing the glow worms in person is truly stunning. An amazing tour! The guide did a great job of getting newcomers accustomed to hiking at night and provided headlamps that allowed us to make our way to the caves safely. Once we got there, we turned them off and saw hundreds of glow worms lined up like constellations. Everything about the glow worms was explained in great detail, and the extra information about the nature along the way was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

It had been raining the entire day and continued to rain while we were preparing to walk the trail to the glow worm location. Antoine made sure that we were all still willing to go on the tour. Everyone in our group wanted to see the glow worms and were eager to start the tour. Antoine provided a helping hand when needed. He has great customer service. For a truly unique Australian activity, we highly recommend the Wildscape Adventures Glow Worm night hike. Our guide was SO knowledgeable about the local wildlife, the glow worms and outdoor skills. He pointed out wildlife like a lobster in the water and animals in the trees, made soap from the tree leaves and led the hike to the glow worms. The hike is easily done and it was truly a magical night!

A Stunningly Beautiful and Unforgettable Unique Antoine met me on time and at designated spot. A warm welcome, a very smooth drive to the blue mountains, and an incredibly beautiful and brilliant explained tour will leave you speechless. His knowledge of the bush, wildlife, safety and survival in the bush just added to a feeling you are a part of the bush experience. The lovely sparkling glow worms living in the cloning of a cave behind a fresh waterfall I found serene, lovely natural. Antoine explained the life cycle of these beauties including conservation tips to keep their gentle glow for all to enjoy for generations to come. Antoine made every guest feel welcome and also enjoy the experience. He showed us leaves that crumbled and compressed in his hand, with the addition of a few drops of water became a fragrant soapy lather. I could go on and on but this is a true highlight of this area of The Blue Mountains. Dress comfortably, wear good walking shoes, learn how to navigate this lovely part of Aussie and the surprises of gorgeous yellow birds sleeping in trees and the sound of rushing water captivate you with lovely twinkling creatures in the night.

Incredible This was a really amazing experience. The hose was flexible about pickup and dropoff points, which helped a lot since the area the tour started was fairly far from Sydney city center. I felt very safe with the host and the group and they were really engaging overall talking about the landscape and the worms. And incredible and unique experience, I'm so glad I was able to see it.

We joined the Glow Worm tour and had the best time of our lives! Before the trip we were worried whether we would be able to see any glow worms in Sep (because peak season is Dec to Mar) - we ended up seeing A LOT of glow worms thanks to Antoine's professional knowledge of the weather and the environment. The walk to the glow worm cave was so much fun, we loved wearing the headlight and doing a mini hike in the dark. We were able to see a possum and eels swimming in the creek thanks to Antoine's superb night vision. We felt very safe under Antoine's guidance - we didn't have even one mosquito bite! Needless to say we were utterly amazed by the beauty of the glow worms. Antoine shared a lot of interesting facts about the glow worms. He even took us to see a close up of the beautiful glow worms. I've joined another glow worm tour before and I must say Antoine's tour is THE BEST!!! Antoine is really knowledgeable about glow worms, hiking and the wildlife.
