Greet the Day on the Water
Start your morning in paradise. Leave the hustle behind and join us for a magical Sunrise Brunswick River Nature Kayak Tour. Gently float on tranquil morning waters and watch the first golden rays of the sun light up the sky from the comfort of your kayak. 🌅
A Pristine Natural Oasis
The Brunswick River is renowned as one of the most beautiful river systems in New South Wales. To ensure you experience it at its absolute best, we schedule our tours to coincide with the high tide, when the river transforms into a crystal-clear, calm oasis. It is the perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing paddle at daybreak. 🌾
Connect with Coastal Wildlife
As you glide along the peaceful waters, the only sounds you will hear are the calls of local sea birds and wildlife welcoming the new day. This gentle-paced adventure is designed for relaxation. Take a deep breath of the clean, salty air, admire the stunning coastal scenery, and paddle past the majestic sand dunes that separate the river from the beach. 🦅
Guided Exploration & Swim Stop
Led by passionate local nature enthusiasts, you will discover the unique features of this incredible environment. During the tour, we will:
- Discover Marine Life: Pause to chill out and observe the fascinating marine life thriving along the river bank. 🐠
- Refresh with a Swim: Take a relaxing break on the river bank for a morning swim and soak in the pristine coastal vibes.
- Enjoy a Leisurely Pace: This 2-hour tour is fully guided and perfectly suited for all experience levels.

We saw so much amazing wildlife and Duggee’s knowledge and stories were a joy and so much fun.
I can not recommend this company, tour and fantastic guide enough. It is a definite highlight of my trip.
Thank you Duggee!
They made the whole adventure such an amazing and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend booking a tour with them! 🐢🐬🐋
We were lucky enough to see so many whales and turtles today too, which made the experience even more unforgettable! 🐋💙
Thank you so much to the whole team for making my day so special and for giving me one of the best days of the year! 🥰
Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back!
I’ll never forget this experience, it was magical. Highly recommended
We did the sunrise tour and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and turtles, which made the tour even more special.
A big shout-out to our guides, Bo and Dougie, who were fantastic. They made us feel comfortable, safe, and confident throughout the entire tour, even if you’re not an experienced kayaker.
The views at sunrise were absolutely stunning, and the whole experience was unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Byron Bay! 🌅🐬🐢
for this amazing experience. Highly recommended!
Did this tour twice as the wildlife were away doing wildlife things during my first tour! The guides were exceptional at keeping everyone together and keeping a watchful eye on us as currents and swells changed to keep us safe.
We saw the beautiful coastline, a gorgeous full moon still hanging in the sky and surfing dolphins. It was an eventful and magical morning with great people!
Thank you Daryl, Luke, Andre, Dougie and Pete!
Probably should have gotten there 15-30 minutes before the scheduled time as was the last to arrive.
The kit was all good. The guides were great. Good Comms. Good banter. Hearded the group well without being upset.
We had a small 8 kayak ish group. I was with Laurie who had done the trip Friday but not seen much and had a rebook.
A quick brief and we were underway.
Great mix between getting some distance done and resting/watching for sea life.
A few turtle heads spotted early in the distance.
Paddled around the corner to spot multiple small pods of dolphins. This started an hour or excellent encounters some 10ft away some 50ft.
Guides were great at slowly getting close without spooking and the group were all well behaved and didn't chase.
Stopped for a swim on the way back. Lost a few pairs of glasses between the group.
Happy people all round.
Don't miss out on experiencing Byron from the water I highly recommend this trip! and can't wait to go again during the whaling season.
Definitely a bucket list experience to do in Byron Bay!
Thanks Pete & the team we will be back!!!
What an experience! Loved the whole 2 hours. It felt more like 30mins.
I thought I wouldn't have the energy for it but I left feeling more energetic than when I arrived!
Saw a dolphin 2x! Once one went under my kayak! Another time one came up a little ways from us. It was amazing. Others saw turtles too. My first time proper experience!
The staff were awesome, and nice!. Gave me a wet suit and kept an eye on me the whole time. The guide made sure I wasn't too hot or needed a dip to cool off.
The instructor was informative and funny!
Awesome! Awesome Day!!
Thank you ❤️
We watched bottlenose dolphins casually porpoise past our kayak while sea turtles poked their heads above the waves for a breather.
What a marvellous sun-kissed morning paddle with Go Sea Kayak in Byron Bay.
These are the people you want to guide you out past the surf and onto an aquatic adventure. Informative, safety-conscious and good-humoured. Five-star legends.
It was a small group and I think perfect amount of people.
The instructors were super friendly and explained all the important things, such as safety information but also facts about the marine life. On our tour we saw dolphins, whales and a turtle which was incredible! Since we went in winter the company gave us wet suits which was great! Kayaking was so much fun and I made some new friends! I really recommend this tour! Thanks for this experience!
The day was incredibly fun and met some incredible people on the day - and yes, we did end up "taking a swim" once or twice, haha.
I'd recommend this to anyone tempted by this, especially if you can time it during the whale migration season.
The weather was beautiful and the seas calm at 06:30. We saw dolphins (including babies) very quickly, and that would have been enough, but then we saw humpback whales. With calves. 10 meters away. It was breathtaking.
Highly recommend paddling with Go Sea Kayak. You may not see whales, but you will have a great time.
Very professional & well organised.
We saw so many dolphins (some up very close) & a whale migrating (a siting this late in the year was unexpected)
Expect to get wet & make sure you only take a phone if it is in a waterproof cover (they can provide you a waterproof pouch when you arrive for $15 )
Despite our best attempts, my partner & I could not master the shore landing in a sea kayak & many laughs. Felt safe the entire time
We were lucky enough to get super close to some Humpback whales and saw loads of dolphins!!
The crew were so knowledgable and made the whole experience so cool and memorable.
Would highly recommend the Go Sea Kayaks to anyone visiting Byron! 🌞🌞
