We came here about 2 years ago, and nobody gave us the time of day or bothered really talking to us about anything. We came back here last week and proud to say the group of girls that were working that were working not only came up to us but had such a lovely conversation about their work, and the island for that matter. Super friendly staff and great products. Special shoutout to Lucy!

Fabulous place to visit , we had our dog Indy & she was most welcome to come inside the gift shop & cafe. The food was excellent, staff friendly & helpful. Definitely recommend a guided tour as there is alot to learn about the distillery. The gift shop was full of local products & particularly the eucalyptus range was outstanding. Loved it!!

A must when you visit Kangaroo Island. Food - I had the smashed avo and a coffee, both were amazing! Best coffee on the island! Desserts all looked delicious, great place to stop for breakfast, snacks or lunch.
Atmosphere- inviting, warm and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Love the family history, 5 minute video is worth taking the time to see.
Products - many wonderful local oils and more.
Kangaroo and wallaby sanctuary on the grounds, lovely to see the help and support for local wildlife.

Worth a stop! We stopped in on our last day on KI. We did the self guided tour & ate lunch at the cafe. As soon as we walked in there were 2 baby kangaroos in baskets inside the door. The staff were so kind & let me pet them. We enjoyed the tour & food & we bought several oils to take home. I would definitely recommend a stop here.

We had a delicious brunch here on the public holiday. Staff were welcoming and friendly- parking was easy and the food was delicious!

We had coffees- high quality coffee, beautiful pottery mugs. We also ordered the fresh juices which we would really recommend!

We had brekkie burgers, a big brekkie (extra big to compensate for running out of mushrooms) and a kids waffles which was so good! She absolutely loved it!

We will def come again and would recommend it for a hearty and delicious meal.

Thought it would be boring - wasn't - worth a visit Visited as part of a tour group - were shown around and told all about the place which gets their oils the old fashioned way. Very interesting and very labour intensive although the owners have adapted and invented quicker and easier ways of doing things. Much to see in the shop of course. We had lunch there - very nice food and a nice glass of wine to go with it. A quick video shown as well. On way out my wife was able to hold a kangaroo joey that had been rescued that day or night and she went all gooey and talked baby talk! Tried some oil for skin care and it did seem to be effective. Well worth a visit

The Eucalyptus distillery tour was a surprisingly delightful experience! Learning about the fascinating process of extracting the fragrant oil was very interesting, and the distinct aroma throughout the distillery was wonderful. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. Plus, the opportunity to sample and purchase unique eucalyptus products was a great bonus. super nice place, friendly people, excellent product and even a kangaroo!! such a nice place, our guide took us after a cruise excursion because we had time, it was not on our itinerairy but we were so glad he did, i fell in love with their product, bought the body wash, the shampoo, i am allergic to everything and i have no problem with these..just love the discreet smell as well..very nice little store, you can have a coffee, look at a video explaining the eucalyptus agriculture..just love it..i even order more stuff to be send to canada, because we didn'T have much room in our luggage. excellent service .i wish it was not that far from home

Stopped here during a tour of Kangaroo Island, lots of really lovely stuff in their gift shop and reasonably priced as well. We got to see one of the Emus just outside as well as a rescue roo. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and there's a nice cafe inside too. Definitely worth a visit!

A very nice and warmth Emu and eucalyptus oil distillery farm .. saw a little kangaroo which they have saved from a road accident . Their oils are quite good especially the hand cream type that can keep u away from feeling dry in a cold weather. Had their hot chocolate and eucalyptus butter scone in day 1 and came back for breakfast and hot chocolate.. it’s really nice .. don’t miss this when u guys are at Kangaroo Island ..

Great experience Great place to pop in and see. We were greeted by lovely Maddy who put a short video on of the distillery which was very interesting and a eucalyptus lolly to try as we watched.
Great range of products and they had their own honey as well which was delicious and quite reasonably priced compared to other outlets.

This was not somewhere that was on my to-do list. I was expecting an over-priced tourist trap on the coach-trip rotation. I've rarely been so pleased to be completely wrong about something.
It's a family business with a fascinating history, there's no pushy selling and the staff there seem genuine about their welcome for visitors. A great range of stock - I never thought we'd want so many eucalyptus products.
Top tips: Go early and have breakfast in their cafe - trust me on this, you'll not regret it.
Take the short but interesting guided tour - great value and well worth it.

Stopped for a quick bite. The products look interesting but big tour bus stopped there and crowded the store area so we didn’t shop after we finished our meal.

We split a burger. They served us quickly. The burger was ok. Quite messy and I didn’t like beets on it. Worth a try though

We came across this place on our way to Vivonne Beach. What a great stop it was. I got presents for my friends and stuff for our house including delicious potpourri. We also have a breakfast and it was delicious and the portions was generous for the price. Plenty of options. Love it

Beautiful experience of an ancient business with nice staff ???? ????

EUCALYPTUS OIL Our group bussed to this venue for a display & lunch. The venue was in a bush setting. Lunch consisted of chicken Satay/lamb sausages, potato/salad followed by carrot cake & cream. The local cider was tasty. The limited staff very helpful.

Worth a visit on KI Our tour began with a short video about the history and methods of extracting oil, then a wander through their extensive shop. Prices on all products were very reasonable and there’s something for everyone in there!

Wandering in further we sat down to a cider tasting paddle ($20 for two) which had three alcoholic ciders, all tasty and very different from eachother and their non alcoholic apple sparkler cider. This area also has an excellent looking cafe, which we didn’t try as we’d only just had lunch before arriving (oops).

A great stop for a local product and to spend about an hour.

It has been one week since we left the island. John and I are grey nomads and had the privilege to work at emu ridge for two months. We loved the experience and certainly ate a lot of their food. The food was beautiful and I found it all had the homely taste but also the modern take. The complete family, including the kids, the dog and any other creatures that happened to be visiting enhanced our experience there. Bus tours came through in an abundance and I met so many people whilst working there that it made my job easier. I highly recommend you visiting emu ridge and I assure you, you will be very welcomed. We will be back one day.

Exploring Kangaroo Island Emu Ridge Eucalyptus was a great place to visit, the staff were friendly and explained the process of refining the eucalyptus oil well, the samples for sale are well worth it.

Edit: After coffee in a few other KI locations, this was by far the best coffee. Enjoy!!!

An absolutely wonderful experience! I went there for lunch and had the best vegetarian burger of my entire life. I sent them an email asking for the ingredients so I can recreate it and they kindly sent it. Lovely staff, lovely food, we also saw a kangaroo on the property which was fun. I only wish they had more locations, I cannot recomend enough!!

Another must do place on Kangaroo Island. Meet the farm dog, Chopper, the most friendly, good boi. Loves attention and will probably join you on your tour of the property. Our guide seemed a little rushed, kept asking the time.
We had lunch here consisting on BBQ lamb sausage, chicken skewer, potato salad, coleslaw and green salad. With a warm bread roll... All fresh and delicious. A piece of carrot, walnut and pineapple cake topped it off nicely. While having lunch, we had the option of a tasting paddle of apple cider. For $10, a delicious extra with lunch.

Great place to visit and learn more Eucalyptus oil and purchase associated products like creams, oils, soaps, and many others. Great cafe with food and beverage options on site. Be sure to try the draft cider flights too.

Family distillery with old-fashioned processes We enjoyed a pleasant lunch on the deck, a short walk to view the eucalyptus distillery, and he opportunity to try out some of their products. An interesting afternoon.

A must place to visit on Kangaroo Island. A fanily owned and run business. You will learn a lot around usage of eucalyptus oil and benefits. Owners and staff both were so friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. Also a cafeteria with really good food and kids entertainment area. You can enjoy watching Emu as well as wallaby on property. The cider from their own brewery also worth trying.
