The Journey

Your adventure begins on the Brisbane River, where the city
skyline slowly fades behind you as the bay opens up ahead.

Feel the excitement build as you carve your way across the wide blue stretches
of Moreton Bay, passing sandbanks, mangrove forests, and calm protected shoals.

As you draw closer to Kooringal, the water transforms into
brilliant shades of emerald and turquoise, signalling your arrival at this
peaceful island escape.

The Experience

Kooringal offers a true taste of island life.

Once ashore, take time to swim in the crystal-clear shallows, stroll along
untouched sandbars, or simply relax and breathe in the tranquillity of the
island.

A highlight of the tour is a visit to the famous Gutter Bar,
where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and taste fresh oysters harvested from
the nearby oyster farms—a signature experience unique to this part of Moreton
Island.

Throughout the journey, keep your eyes open for dolphins, turtles,
dugongs, and, during the late whale season, the chance to spot a humpback whale
passing through the bay.

After your island break, gear up for the scenic,
exhilarating ride back across Moreton Bay toward Brisbane.
