Melbourne Street Art Tours takes you through the streets and laneways, highlighting who the artists are, giving you a sense of current influences and issues, sharing technical aspects involved in spray painting, stencil art and paste-ups, and explaining the significant role street artists have played in making Melbourne one of the most important destinations worldwide for street art.
Each tour is led by one of Melbourne’s elite street art stars. With local knowledge on just about everything, our guides treat you to some of Melbourne’s hidden underground treasures. You will discover some of the world’s most interesting ever-changing street art and galleries as you explore hidden laneways and arcades.
The 3 hour tour finishes at the famous Blender Studios, (West Melbourne) where you will get to see artists and street artists at work, all together in a massive art studio. Wind up your afternoon meeting and chatting with artists at their studios over a cold beverage or two and delicious fresh produce. The studio is located near Flagstaff garden short walk to the southern cross station.
MEETING POINT: The ACMI main entrance on Flinders St. There is a large sign: ‘ACMI – Australian Centre of Moving Image’, it is on street level and you should be able to look across the road to the Cathedral if you need to use google map the address closest to it will be 115 flinders st. (this is on street level pls don’t go to federation square) our acmi meeting point is across the road from wilson parking

FINISHING POINT: Blender Studios, 400 Spencer West Melbourne, Near Flagstaff Garden (attached map)
1. Please wear comfortable shoes as the walking tour will run for approximately 2.5 hours – no high heels, please! (total of 3.6km)
2. Please check the day’s weather forecast ahead of time. We run the tour, rain, hail, or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather!
3. Your tour guide will have your mobile number in case they need to contact you on the day of your tour.
4. Call us on 03 9328 5556 (Melbourne Street Tours Office) if you are running late or have any issues and we will be able to direct you.
5. If you have any mobility issues, please kindly let us know so we can inform the tour guide.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Tours run rain, hail or shine if they meet the minimum participants.
Melbourne Street Art Tours reserves the right to cancel tour departures. A minimum number of bookings is required to operate each tour. It may, therefore, be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure. In this case your payment won’t be processed and you will be given the option to wait for other participants OR you can choose another tour date (at which point payment will be processed).
Cancellation Policy:
More than 2 days before tour date – full refund minus 10% bank fee;
Less than 48 hrs – 50% refundable;
Less than 24 Hrs – non-refundable.
Cancellation and rescheduling: Customers may reschedule up to 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the departure time will result in forfeit of tickets. No Show – No refund.
Weather Contingency: Tours will run regardless of inclement weather conditions. We provide ponchos in the case of rain. We are happy to swap your tour date should the weather deter you from coming on your booked tour, however any refunds requested due to weather conditions will be subject to the same cancellation policies as described above.
