Awesome Amazing experience on the sunset 1 hour tour. The Camels were great and the team at Red Sun were amazing and interactive.

Fabulous! A fantastic and special experience. The handlers genuinely care about the well-being of the camels and it was all very well-run. Did the 3:30pm one and 30min was just right for us and it was still a gorgeous and well-lit experience and the staff took some amazing photos of us too! Took a couple of young kids with us - probably not the easiest for those who do not have wide hips (have to stretch legs over a wide hump) the kids didn't complain though! Bear in mind, there is a long walk along the beach to the starting point so either give yourself plenty of time or let the organisers know if you need help getting there.

What a nice experience! I’ve avoided doing any kind of camel rides because I’ve always felt a bit iffy about it, being conserned are they abused for tourism purposes, but since my partner wanted to go i was willing to give it a go. Allison seemed to know all the camels on a personal level, knowing their names and their characterstics, all the people working there were amazing and helpful. We were also told that the camels are all rescue camels and live a very good life on many hectars of land and i feel like that’s true. The sunset was amazing and looked magical, also the pearl earrings that were given as a gift was such a lovely gesture and a beautiful keepsake.

All the workers were so helpful and lovely to deal with they were more then happy to run along the beach taking photos for everyone, telling us about how they care for camels and how some are rescues which is always amazing when any animal gets saved from a bad situation and brought to a happier and healthier life.

Excellent service and priceless experience Alison and her team were excellent from the start to the finish. from mounting, dismounting and the priceless experience especially during the sunset as our backdrop during the one hour walk on the vast Cable Beach. The staff was ever so helpful with questions and taking photos for us. Not only did we enjoyed this experience thoroughly, Alison and her team helped my husband and I ticked this tour off our bucket list especially the beautiful memories are with us from the surreal photos the staff took for us from many angles. We will frame one of the pictures taken with us on the camel with the beautiful red majestic sun in the backdrop. This pic has inspired a number of my friends to put Broome on their bucket list. More importantly the success of this tour are the gorgeous camels, they were so well-trained, calm and adorable. Thanks, Alison and your team for giving us this unforgettable experience.

Long walk to the starting point The walk from the surf club car park down to the beach and then >600 hundred metres to the start point was not what I expected when I booked it thinking it would be a good alternative to a walk along the beach, as my husband has severe emphysema & cannot walk long distances, very disappointing that no help was offered despite there being a vehicle available 🫤😐

Iconic activity in Broome A great way to end our stay in Broome. The 30 minute ride was just right for me. Although the sunset ride would have been special, I think 1 hour would have been too much for this old fellow. The camels were just so chill and the staff an absolute delight - especially Stephen and his partner (whose name I sadly can’t renember ️).

Horizontal Falls Gordon the pilot was amazing with his commentating and his smooth flying. The whole experience is something I won't forget. Thanks to all the team

Our Camel ride was so magical especially with the sunset background. The Camels are so calm and staff are so friendly.
They always ask if we are comfortable enough and always offer to take such a beautiful photo.

We did our first experience of riding camel today, and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and made sure we were safe. Above all, Marie, we talked to took fantastic photos. We could not do the sunset ride, but the pre sunset one was still as great.

LOVED this experience. There is no place that I know of where you can enjoy such a peaceful and intimate experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and clearly enjoyed what they do. The camels themselves were true characters. I rode an 11 year old named Isaiah who had a cheeky side. Adores his carrots and if you’re not quick enough to give them to you he gets a little impatient. Relaxing camel ride on Cable Beach! We had a wonderful experience! Cable beach is beautiful, especially during sunset. The camel ride was very relaxing and the camels were well cared for. The staff and owner truly care for them and would give them pats or kisses while people were mounting them in preparation for the walk. The staff took excellent photos using our phones and also told us some interesting information about camels and stories about certain camels in the pack. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Broome! It was the highlight of our day!

Highly recommend. Excellent. Yet again Broome Camel Safaris have us an unforgettable, sublime experience. Gentle, kind camels slowly swaying along the pristine white Cable Beach watching the sun slide slowly into the Indian Ocean, turning not just the sky, but the sea as well bright red.

What an amazing experience with tour guides that went above & beyond to make our ride so memorable. We had a great introduction with good advice on camel behaviour.
The young man who offered to take photos throughout our adventure, took brilliant shots!
He also was very vigilant with dogs coming near the camel's for our safety & the camel's.
On returning we enjoyed giving our camel's carrots in appreciation for the ride. We would highly recommend the Blue Camel's!

We went during the 3:00pm ride, which was a nice experience, but we paid for 30 minutes and it only lasted 15 minutes.

Tour guides were great! Very friendly and they knew all the camels names and personalities very well!

We went along the gorgeous coast of cable beach, guided by knowledgeable handlers who made sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves every step of the way. The lady in charge was very loving, as soon as we checked in she gave each woman a pair of earrings (for Christmas I suppose) when we got on the camel the trip was long enough to enjoy the beach and take several photos. There are several guys who go next to us and talk about camels and also take photos of us with our phones. Everything was awesome and beautiful. At the end of the trip you can feed the camel with carrots. My girlfriend loved it

Fabulous tour! It was a beautiful and fun ride on the blue camels! Weather was perfect, with a beautiful sunset on Cable Beach. The backpacker staff were great, chatty and take plenty of pics with your camera for you along the way. Alison was very friendly and welcoming plus a little gift of pearl earrings for me! It goes for nearly 2 hours, so you have plenty of time on your camel. It's easy to get on and off the camels, and you can feed your camel with thank you carrots at the end. Highly recommend!!

Sunset Camel Safari Fantastic experience, wonderful team who take lots of great photos for you and are very knowledgeable, would 100% recommend. The camels are really well looked after and seem to enjoy their job. It is a very touristy thing to do in Broome but such fun that you don’t want to miss out! The free pearl earrings were also a nice touch.

Anniversary Sunset Camel Ride on Cable Beach Such a lovely way to experience the sunset at Cable Beach and celebrate our anniversary.
Alison and her team were friendly and accommodating.
The camels calmly meandered down the beach as our guides talked to us about the camels, Broome, the tracks of the turtles and took heaps of photos and videos on our phone.
While on the way down the beach the clouds rolled in but on the way back the gloomy sky rewarded us with the anticipated sunset.
Well worth doing this experience while visiting Broome.

You're never too old to have some fun! A must do in Broome! The team ensured everyone had a wonderful experience, taking photos and videos of the train as we walked down the beach. The 'herders' walked beside us answering our every question and made us feel safe, secure and relaxed.

Brilliant!! experience start to finish, 5 stars!! I would have happily given 10 stars if I could. Alison and her entire team are adorable. The camels are beautiful and very well cared for. Travelled in July and my camel Aijalon was an absolute darling. All the ladies taking the ride also got a pair of freshwater pearl earrings. The staff put in a lot of effort to ensure a smooth comfortable ride and took beautiful pictures of the camel ride against the sunset. Loved that we get to feed our camel carrots at the end of the ride. Must do experience in Broome. Absolutely recommended!!

Amazing experience with Broome Camel Safaris the Camel ride on Cable Beach was a highlight for us during our week long holiday in Broome. Our girls (9 and 12 years old) absolutely loved the camels and asked lots of questions of the Camel carers / guides - we now know a little more about Camels. The guides took lots of amazing photographs for us to cherish for years to come. One point to note - the Camels are 'wide' so it's not the most comfortable but it all added to a great, fun experience.

First time on a camel; really great experience. Location and time was spectacular - magnificent Cable Beach just prior to sunset. A photographer's dream. Friendly, informative, caring staff showed real fondness towards the camels, and made sure all the riders got brilliant photos on their (the riders) mobile phones. Complimentary pair of freshwater pearl earrings for female riders was a nice touch. Would have given 5 stars but found it a bit tricky to locate the start point/vehicle, amongst so many other vehicles on the beach. Maybe a banner would be helpful. Feeding our camels carrots at the end of the ride was a lovely way to finish. Afterwards, having a drink at the nearby Sunset bar topped off a really novel, fun thing to do in Broome. Can recommend.

We did the riding week ago. My mum and nephew had unforgettable camel riding with Alison's team. Start with a warm greeting and smile not even mention our guide is a French girl who also speaks Mandarin so I don't need to transfer and stay with them all the time.
