The gin is next-level, with bold flavours that slap you in the face but with a silk glove. The Ginache was lush. Would defo recommend.
You can enjoy the gin in the distillery or sip outside on the stunning lawn area. The view from the distillery is awesome, and the cocktails are crafted to perfection. It’s the perfect spot for a chill afternoon with friends or a date. Juniperfection!

The tour was exquisitely organised a G & T on arrival, out the back for the history and interacting with botanicals, then back into a beautifully laid tasting table. To finish up with a cocktail of my choice was lovely too. I ordered some eats from the little place next door that complemented the nine tastings of gin and helped to keep me able to drive home. I stayed for four hours to ensure blood alcohol level was on its way down and didn’t drink everything but if I’d had a driver I might have been tempted.
The gin was delicious and I am not a big gin drinker, but managed to like three special styles to meet me when I get home. All done with no fuss and a lovely friendly atmosphere. highly recommend!

The oyster shell gin is very special unlike any other gins. Cocktails were a bit too sweet and syrupy but overall a great experience
The base line Triple Juniper Gin is a solid start to many of the cocktail combinations.
Staff was super friendly, outstanding service.
Will definitely be back

We did the Gin Tasting, which was interesting - learning about the different Gins. The very knowledgeable staff were also able to guide us through the tasting and answer our questions.
It's definitely worth a revisit!

Don’t waste your time visiting.

Only thing to note was when we booked for 4 although one was a designated driver they seemed surprised there was four of us, they were only expecting three. Booking said 4 so I think they need to update their system to flag designated adults and children as being separate and not the same so there can be a place setting for them at least for a glass of water

Never Never Distilling I will Never Never be returning. Please be aware that your $25 gin tasting fee/person will only allow a tasting and occupation of a table for 90 minutes, then you will have to leave, so I was informed today.
As a chauffeur driver & tour operator I had a group that was running behind schedule. (This is not uncommon on a full day tour or by the end of the day but out of courtesy I called Never Never at 3pm to let them know we were half hour behind)(Sunday afternoon.) The staff member informed me that was ok however keep in mind that a table is only booked for 90 minutes. I questioned this and confirmed that my guests were only allowed to have an hour sitting to do their tasting. Very frustrating! The staff member informed me that it's in the Terms and Conditions on booking.
Sorry but I was not impressed.
1. It was the last sitting for the day therefore had we arrived late we would have been made to leave at 4.30 pm even though they were open until 5pm.
2. When booking it recommends to allow 90 minutes for a tasting.
3. I had requested a call back from the manager which she did and was again informed of "terms and conditions on the online booking system".
4. I questioned the manager and said what if they want to have another drink, is it going to be refused because we had gone into "overtime" on my groups table???
5. Let's say we my group decided they wanted to have some food at the same time, is there only 60 minutes that they can relax, have a bite to eat and then be forced to leave because their time was up?
This is "post COVID times", no more capacity restrictions but unfortunately it seems Never Never haven't got past "allocated times & tastings"!
After the manager had confirmed with me it's in Terms and Conditions I informed her that unfortunately I would not be bringing my group of 4 in because I don't want to be putting my group in a situation that they were expected to leave after an hour. Luckily for me I had only paid for 1 tasting leaving it up to my group to decide what they all wanted to do at the visit which I confirmed with Never Never earlier in the day. I had booked in 4 Gin tastings. (Would have been a another $75 sale + more if they have had more time for another drink+ a sale had they made purchases!)
I have to say it was very polite of the manager to offer me a credit for a future visit on the payment I had made when I returned, my response, keep it because I won't be returning and I'd rather lose the $25 and go to Settlers Gin and that's where I will be recommending and going to in future.
Before booking Never Never check out Settlers. $5 cheaper, spend as long as you want there, you get a great experience and gin menu to choose from rather than a 3 set gins
on a self guided tasting with a 90 minute maximum time at your table!

What made our visit most enjoyable however was the service we received from Olivia. She was very attentive, knowledgeable and personalised our visit by chatting about our plans for the rest of the day and told us more about the region. She ran through our purchasing options and made it very easy for us to buy. Because of Olivia’s service we would definitely recommend Never Never to anyone visiting the McLaren Vale region.

Will come back definitely ❤️

The distillery is located on top of a hill which has beautiful views of the valley below. There was a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating, catering for all occasions.
The staff were very friendly and helped us with our gin tasting process.

We also ordered some food from the kitchen, everything was cooked perfectly and the pizza was unique and different from other places within the region.
Gins were very nice and palatable, and the waitress also allowed us to try some olive tonic which was quite different to what I was expecting. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience here, from the food to the atmosphere to the staff.
Truly an exceptional venue for good food, good gin and good vibes.
