We start the day by collecting you from your accommodation at approximately 9 am (8.30 am Glenelg) before heading out of the city to the iconic Barossa Valley.
Kies Family Wines is your first stop for the day. This unique family winery which started in an old Chaff Mill Cottage prides itself on providing a personal experience to all who visit. Enjoy the homely feel as you taste their awesome selection of wines before we move on to Pindarie, our second winery of the day.
Pindarie Wines is situated on the western edge of the Barossa, Pindarie, an Aboriginal word meaning “hilly place”, is a family-owned and sustainably run property consisting of sheep, pastures and wines. In their cellar door, a restored grain store and adjacent stables) we experience a guided tasting of the full range of their award-winning wines. Sit and take in the views of the vineyards where the wines are originally sourced whilst enjoying a generous platter of regional produce for lunch.
After lunch, as we leave Pindarie behind us and make our way further into the heart of the Barossa, we have some time to have a leisurely stroll through the shops and attractions in the historic township of Tanunda, before we head to Seppeltsfield Gin Distillers. Here we can experience a structured tasting paddle of their gins before finally moving on to the last destination of the day, passing through the scenic Seppeltsfield region en-route. After arriving at Greenock Brewery we have the opportunity to meet the brewer and take a tour of the brewery while enjoying a taste of their beers before we head back to Adelaide for a 5/5.30pm drop off back at your accommodation.

That said, my experience was very positive. Head out to the Red White and Brew Eight days a week. This is probably the best restaurant in Mesa for family and everyday dining. Just not special occasion dining.
Our food was excellent, the portions exceedingly large, and the prices were very very fair. RWB is without a doubt the best dining option in Mesa for really good food and really fair prices.
We may not go back ourselves but I totally recommend RWB for its food and value.
Service? Off the charts. Shout out to Kat, short for Katrina who was a fabulous server, and made our visit special.
Food was so good we will probably do take out from now on.
I loved the variety on the trip , tastings of wine , gin and beer along with our delicious lunch all included.
Not to mention the surprise call in to the beautiful Seppesfield winery to admire the gorgeous gardens and stunning buildings. I will certainly recommend you to my friends here in Perth !
So glad that we could support this small family business, thanks again Dave ! Mardi and Rex
The winery’s chosen ensured the right combination of quality wines, secluded cellar doors and that personable touch.
Wine tastings and a lovely ploughman's lunch.
Then onto Gin and Beer tastings. A bit of everything for everyone!
Dave shared his knowledge of the Barossa Valley and Adelaide area and was lots of fun.
Would highly recommend ✔️
Thanks Dave😊
2-3 weeks before they contacted us to say they wanted us to change to the day before. We couldn't as we weren't in Adelaide in time. They said it was fine & would still take us. Whilst on way to Adelaide 2 days before they cancelled us & told us to claim our money back. Our 4 days in Adelaide were built around this. Totally unprofessional. Didn't care about our circumstances.
Dave’s relationship with the venues we visited ensured we were well looked after everywhere we went. He was a great tour guide and made sure we had a great day.
We highly recommend this tour with Australian Elements Tours and Chartes!
Knowledgable friendly tour guide.
Have done day trips for wine tasting before so it was good to take in the local gin and beer this time too.
Dave was a great guide and I would recommend this tour to everyone.
David was not only knowledgeable but was also kind and always had a smile on his face.
Thank you David and Julie for the lovely experience I will never forget.
While I am the wine drinker, my husband prefers beer, and neither one of us drinks gin. That said, we both took the opportunity to sample everything on offer. There were more than enough wines on each tasting for me to feel that I'd tried some of the best of the Barossa Valley, we enjoyed taking part in something new to us both; gin tasting, and we finished the day with a great selection of beers poured for us by the very entertaining host/owner of Greenock Brewers. It was the perfect balance for both of us. The lunch was excellent too and, as vegetarians, we were well catered for.
Dave was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information about the area, but he didn't talk for the sake of it. Also, everything seemed to run like clockwork and yet we never felt rushed. That's the sign of a true professional!
Needless to say, I would highly recommend this tour and would like to thank Dave for helping to make this one of my best birthdays ever.
most breathtaking sights of the Barossa Valley. We enjoyed a great Gin tasting at Seppeltsfield Rd Gin Distillery and to finish the day off we stopped at Greenock Brewery for some thirst quenching beer tastings where we met some extremely lovely (and very funny hosts). Our tour guide was exceptional and not without a great sense of humour and an extensive knowledge on the history of the sites and surrounds of Adelaide. Thank you so much to Dave at Australian Elements Tours and Charters along with the team at Pindarie who helped make this day one to remember
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in history and learning about how the Port of Adelaide came to be, especially as it gave you the wonderful opportunity to see the old Quarantine station! Additionally, David was a wonderful guide with so much knowledge. Growing up in the area, his local perspective added greatly to the tour. Thank you David for such a great day!
Our experience was spoiled by our bus drivers bad attitude. When asked simple questions we were met with snarky remarks that made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable. We asked what time we should meet back in the bus and were told “are you kidding me!?” this and just constant angry/rude remarks.
We were seated at the back of the bus and could not hear the driver very well as the speakers were at the very front, so we were chatting amongst ourselves for the duration of the one hour drive.
At seppeltsfield's gin distillery we were met by someone with the same bad attitude. When asked which one of the mixers was lemonade she said “can’t you read?”, there was not even a bottle on our table. Just so unnecessarily rude, even people who were not in our group looked put off by that response.
Special mention to Kies family wines, Pindarie and Rehn Bier for simply knocking it out of the park with incredible wines, food and service. It’s worth going on the tour just for them and they are what made this still a fun & beautiful day.
To the bus driver please deliver your messages with more kindness. You made us uncomfortable and we were celebrating a birthday.
Definitely dissapointed as I have toured South Australian wine regions so many times and never have been disrespected like this. If we were treated with more courtesy this would be a five star review and we would've returned.
Keep in mind 160AUD a head, there was 7 of us - we paid 1120AUD dollars to be there I feel that for that much money the least we can get is respect.
Dave is a great guide and even better craic!
Can't fault the day in any way and would highly recommend! Hopefully will get back for the McLaren vale tour!
Enjoyed each stop we made, and the countryside of the Barossa was just amazing and green!
Would definitely recommend this trip when you’re in SA!
Dave was a great guide. The venues we visited were all wonderful.
Definitely recommend this tour . Really like that they support smaller local owned and operated businesses.
The wineries we went to in the morning were very generous with their wine tastings, so accomodating and made us feel so so welcome! At our second winery we completed the visit with a grazing board lunch which was very plentiful and left us all rolling out of there! We managed a scenic stop in the gorgeous little town of Tununda and even managed to squeeze a stop into the chocolate factory. We then moved onto the gin distillery and finished up at a brewery which we were lucky enough had a wine tasting going on at the same time so we got to try even more locally produced wine!
We had an absolute ball of a a day and couldn’t recommend this tour enough! Thank you so much Dave, if I ever come back to Adelaide I’ll definitely be doing this tour again!
